  • Today, we have a different type of episode. Not exactly true crime, but it is still a very interesting case of a man possibly has killed more than any other single person in modern history. Was this justified? Listen in and come to your own conclusion!

Using the term murderer in this instance does not apply, the meaning of the word murder:- "Someone who illegally and intentionally kills another person". The operative word being illegally here, as a soldier fighting against an invading army he had the permission of his government to take the lives of those who would take his life and the lives of his fellow countrymen. There is no murder case here. Not that I agree with war. But I do think perspective must apply and those using the term murderer should be ashamed.

Exactly. Here you have a tiny country and one man is killing many soldiers. However, there is no mention of the huge invading army of 450,000 killing civilians, hundreds of them. He killed soldiers and the soldiers that he killed were killing civilians- the elderly, men, women, and children. I think that you guys need to study history a little bit before you talk about it.

That's a pretty loose way of using the term "mass murderer" . . . "murder" is a pretty specific thing, imho - and it has _nothing_ to do with defending oneself or your property/nation/family, etc.

Bicycles have many advantages as transportation. Yeah, you can go faster and carry more than on foot, but its also quieter than a motorcycle and doesn't need petrol. It's also much, much more convenient than a horse who needs to be fed and rested regularly.

I loved this one. I don't understand why he would be called a mass murderer. The man was doing his job and sadly it was killing the men who were invading his country. Also, nothing beats iron sites if you can shoot with irons like that no need for optics.

Very easy debate. He is not a mass murderer he is a Finnish war hero. He didn't go to Russia to kill Russians. He did not kill anyone before the war or after the war. No matter how much you disagree with war that will do nothing to stop wars from happening. When his family, friends, neighbors and countrymen were being butchered by a superior power he did what he had to do and it sounds to me like he did not take any pleasure in it. None of these are characteristics of a mass murderer or serial killer

In war can any soldier who kills more than 3 of the enemy be considered a mass murderer? In all the WW2 documentaries I ever watched one message remains loud and clear, the world wide collective voices shouting "Never Again!!", yet we're still all puppets dancing for those who are leading us straight to another hell0 moment in history. Hopefully your story will stir memories in others as well. Sorry but calling a soldier a mass murderer or murderer is so weak and sad. If this is the mentality of most Americans, may George Washington save us. Peace out.

the uk dresden bombings killed 25000 civilians in one night, those RAF crews were also topscorers , and the 2 nukes killed up to 200000 civilians , if you divede that number with the 2 b29 crews we have our massmurder winners!! so compared to USA Finland are novices when it comes to massmurder.
the crews on those 2 planes were 6 , so divided with 200000 its 33000 for each US Army crewmember. that must be the abolute supermassmurderkiller record EVER.!! maybe you make a video bout that :-)
what about the most lives lost at sea EVER !the wilhelm Gustloff sunk by a soviet sub 9400 woman and children, dunno how big the crew on the sub were?
