Yes and no. It's a little confusing. They both have the same frame/chassis, but, the 1995-1999 tercel and toyota paseo have the same motor and transmission. The 1990-1994 paseo and tercel each have different motors and transmissions. The 93 paseo had 6 more hp than the same year tercel, and had a redline higher than the 1995 paseo.
So, is this Tercel just the same as a Paseo? I bought a 93 Paseo in near mint condition and it’s a cool little car.
