Pat, I've really been enjoying your album lately, but I'm slightly confused about this song. I ask, in all humility, how can everything be sacred? What scriptural basis is there for this claim? "You don't see the lines we draw between the secular and sacred." Aren't we called to be set apart, to draw lines between the secular and sacred. It is our job to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the secular. If it was all the same, would the secular even need the Gospel? Please help me to understand the frame of mind you were in when you wrote these lyrics.
It seems what's sacred are the different aspects to the attributes of their relationship. At least what I take from this song. Not sure if he's even read this so I hope we can start a movement towards a humble, more convicting repentant relationships, for the sake of reverence and love
Or even every part of "the way" written all over the Bible is what is sacred. The way is a relationship, obviously not a religion. To be Messianic, or Christian, means to Follow the Messiah, and how can you follow One you don't listen to. Very good question. I had to realise that each has his job to do in the body: one is a foot, one is a hand... They didn’t elect a pastor to be president, he’s a businessman and a politician, this is the job assigned to him by heaven and my pastor friend went along to acknowledge the appointment of heaven. Does the pastor agree with everything about Trump? No, but he honours the man as he has been given a mantle to lead the country, and so prays and supports him.

I believe it means that we don’t have to wait until we get to heaven to experience God.
