I saw this healthy version pizza/dough on another channel and have made it.. taste is on point and coming from a culinary background even if it wasn't healthier dough it's wayy faster and convenient vs a yeast based dough where you have to let rest, then punch down the dough ball, shape it and give it a 2nd rest (proof) before baking. This method uses the chemical reaction of the flour and acidity of the yogurt to do the leavinging* (spelling) vs yeast dough using essentially fermentation. In baking there are multiple ways to air rate products to make it light and fluffy ie fermentation, chemical reaction and airration like in a merguinge when whipping air into egg whites for a souffle.
Made this tonight with a plain gluten free flour and just added the salt and baking powder + greek yoghurt. It was delicious! My boyfriend even said it was one of the best pizzas he's had, not greasy, nice and fresh and super easy!

i made the pizza crust with yucca flour (organic no gluten) and the breadstick with sweet potato flour (organic no gluten) it took double of time on oven and a little more flour... taste amazing!

I make this crust at least once a week guilt free. I dont even add chicken on it anymore. Just tons and tons of veggies. And it is so delicious and good for calorie watching. I highly recommend

Tried this tonight and wow by far one of the best pizza I have had. Not greasy and healthy. I made my own tomato sauce and topped it of with yellow/orange/red bell peppers, smoked turkey ham, spinach and mozzarella.

Oh my gosh......I made this tonight.....I am 69 ..... its the BEST pizza I have ever had ....DELICIOUS I divided the dough in half to make 2 small pizzas. I cut it into 4 slices🍕🍕🍕🍕 The other half will be for another meal. Toppings..... Pizza sauce Gardein plant based meat (it is SOOO good) Onion Olives Mozzarella cheese Before putting in the oven I sprinkled the top with APLENTY Everything Bagel Seasoning Blend Thanks for sharing the flour and yogurt dough recipe.....it's healthy and incredible........Lee in California 🇺🇲
To make it even healthier, can we use oat flour (finely grinded oats)? This is such a nice alternative to cauliflower pizza crust! So if we use self rising flour, we omit the baking soda and powder right?

Mind Over Munch Hey! I tried it with oat flour and it did work- however I had to use a bit more oat flour to make the dough manageable, and I had to cook it for about 10 minutes longer. I don't think it tasted AS good, but was still worth it for the easy recipe :)
Tried this last night was absolutely delicious it went so much better than I expected now I'm not saying it was takeout quality coz it wasn't but it was way better than the ready made dough my parents used also I cooked it in a deeper dish and did a higher crust and with the leftover dough made chese stuffed dough balls and I added seasoning to the flour like garlic salt and oregano it was so good I will defiantly be doing this again 👍👌🙌

Not sure of the macros but this was actually a success taste and crust wise! I used lowfat part skim mozzarella, and Turkey pepperoni. Drizzled slices with mike’s hot honey
great question! Since this dough does not require yeast, I would guess that you could substitute with quinoa flour, but I haven't tried! I good option is always to try 1/2 and 1/2 if you're unsure. If you do try it out, let me know as I'm sure others would love to know too! Thanks!

I made this and it was delicious I would totally recommend making this is was super easy and fun to make. (PS it does not taste like Greek yogert at all it didn't even have the aftertaste of Greek yogert.)

I used 1/3 cup flour and 60 grams yogurt with 1/2 tsp baking powder and pinch of salt ,, but it takes alot of time in the oven like maybe 30 min up and down :)
Also, if you don't have the self-rising flour, do you have to add the baking powder and salt, or can it just not rise? I have baking soda but not baking powder, and I was planning to make this tonight.
Wilda Marie Rivera almond flour is much more dense, so I would not sub all of the flour for almond or you'll need much more. I would suggest subbing 1/4-1/2 of the flour for almond, and using a wheat flour or all purpose gluten free flour for the rest :)

Perlgirl1 Almond and coconut flour are a little more dense so I would suggest not substituting 1 to 1... you could try 1/4 cup almond and 3/4 cup wheat flour?

whole wheat IS healthy but it isn't gluten free, Oat flour thats certified gluten free would be though.

I always season my dough with garlic powder, italian herbs, paprika, seasoned salt, and sometimes a pinch of xylitol for a touch of sweetness!

this looks great. can i make it without using baking powder just yogurt and whole wheat flour? or flour and cashewmilk?
The baking powder helps it rise. I haven't tried cashew milk so I can't say!
Mind Over Munch oh ok but will it still cook if i dont put baking powder?
I used 1/3 cup flour and 60 grams yogurt with 1/2 tsp baking powder and pinch of salt ,, but it takes alot of time in the oven like maybe 30 min up and down :)

Also, if you don't have the self-rising flour, do you have to add the baking powder and salt, or can it just not rise? I have baking soda but not baking powder, and I was planning to make this tonight.

Wilda Marie Rivera almond flour is much more dense, so I would not sub all of the flour for almond or you'll need much more. I would suggest subbing 1/4-1/2 of the flour for almond, and using a wheat flour or all purpose gluten free flour for the rest :)

Perlgirl1 Almond and coconut flour are a little more dense so I would suggest not substituting 1 to 1... you could try 1/4 cup almond and 3/4 cup wheat flour?
