@KyleLiongCars Can you do a reliability test for the car after 4 years of its release? I think it will help alot of people for those who are buying a Used W222 from 2017-2018 onwards.
This is it!!! The Merc S Class!!! I was thinking before when you announced that you gonna review an S Class, was S 520. 😊 But still an S Class!!! Superb review Kyle, as always! 🥂
Honestly, I heard more noise than your pervious W140 video. This car is amazing in nice roads only when everything is working. Even, your smile is different than w140 video. I could feel you were happier there.
The new teslaesque W223 is underwhelming in a design perspective. This W222 have that perfect balance between classic and modern design. The interior can even rival a Bentley or Rolls. It's obvious that the newer one is aimed at a younger audience. Anyways great review, you've always been a connoisseur of Mercedes.
@@KyleLiongCars Definitely, btw I came across your W140 at carousell. You should just keep it ! It would definitely be a future classic, not to mention the car's history.
@@KyleLiongCars Haha ! That's a tough choice. The Lexus LS is very tempting though. A perfect balance of luxury and reliability. Just get the Ls haha, and won't ever worry about expensive repairs.
The old LS430 is smoother than any S class! The S is the benchmark because of it's groundbreaking tech. Everything is smoother in the lexus in my experience. The LS430 and LS460 are my favorites👌
Very nice. I think that the V222 facelift is one of the best looking cars Mercedes-Benz has ever made. The changes to the headlights and grill just sets it apart from the pre-facelift variant. I think the three LED stripes in the taillights are somewhat reminiscent of the ribbed taillights that Mercedes-Benz used to have. I disagree with you about the steering wheel. While I would also like to have a wood/leather wheel, the three spoke design is much better, IMO. Just a question, though - can the rear seat passenger still control the front passenger seat even when there is someone sitting in that seat? I've always been curious about that. Is there some sort of a lockout to prevent the rear seat passenger from operating the front seat? For instance, if I am using this car as a family car, I certainly wouldn't want the kids to play around with the front seats!
@@KyleLiongCars sorry I ment soft close haha. They remind me of the soft close fallboards on pianos made nowadays btw the fallboard is the lid covers the keys. Japanese/European made pianos even have locks🎹🎶
@@MERCEDES-BENZS600GUARD_V12 Actually the soft close function was only standard on the higher end models. Optional for the I6 engined ones so mine doesn't have it, unfortunately.
@@KyleLiongCars the w140 slogan has always been “ the king of s class”. I also have one the 1992 500sel and it’s the best car ever. The engine runs good, the suspension is tight and everything is perfect and I just sold it recently because the radiator blew up while I was in the traffic, it was pretty tragic
I get a laugh when this kid says it's long in my day that is a mid-sized car. I grew up with big cars that were 3 ft. longer than this lol. some over 20ft long.
not really a review but rather a feature demo and saying "luxury" "perfection" and a few other buzzwords over and over. Nothing about any of the known issues, big or small, just gushing. sorry, not trying to be mean, just pointing out reasons why it's not really much of a "review."
I prefer this over the W223, but wouldn't mind having either one. 😊
Same haha!
One of the best S class reviews. Well done!!
Thanks

@gautamsehgal9683 sadly I don’t own the car
Super detailed review bro! It's like you've scratched almost every surface 😁
😂😂😂😂
man why are you so good with these car reviews. You deserve more subscribers!
Thanks for the kind words haha! Glad you like the videos
I also agree with that man, this guy deserves a lot more subs than he has considering his quality reviews of every single car!!🔥
Thank you :)
Great review man! I was able to drive a w221 many years ago. These are my favorite Sedans.
Still looking for a 221 to review myself hehe! Love the look of the 221 too

S500 you mean? Or S550? Close enough haha :) thanks

I agree with you. I prefer the W222’s interior way more than the W223. Has a more classic but elegant design

I’m torn between selling it and keeping it haha! I’ve been looking at Miatas, Boxsters, and LS Lexus hehe

I’m leaning towards the LS myself hahaha
So fresh! Not a single scratch! 😍
Another nice review keep it up and early 10k subscribers *prediction* i hope ur channel will grow more :)
Thank you!!
I thought the facelift w222 450 uses the inline 6 cylinder with EQ boost
Yes elsewhere but not for the PH market

I agree with the headlights too haha! For the seat control, I wasn’t able to try it. Will let you know next time I get my hands on another W222 :)
The most handsome S-Class ever! My favorite limo aside from the Lexus LS!
Agree! I also love the LS
Hey Kyle. It looks good. Nice classic cars for a Mercedes-Benz S-Class.
The future of the vehicle for insurance company.
Nice looking S class. Well detailed review kyle. You hit all the stops. Bimmer forever. 🤗🐫🙏
Thanks! Hahaha I have had Bimmers too! I have an F30 now. Still prefer Mercs
Been anticipating this!
Finally here
Those run flats. Over all great review you have definitely changed my view of newer S Classes🎹🎶
Still hoping to try out the W223 myself and it might change my views on it haha
@@KyleLiongCars although I still like the style of the W140.

Yep
Should I get this or a 2020 C43? They’re the same price CPO lol
That’s really a personal preference thing
It's a bit sneaky/misleading of Merc to put a 3.0L V6 in an S420.
They’ve been doing that since the dawn of time haha
Mid-size Sedan Papi!!! 👌🏻👌🏻💯💯
Full size pa rin
