6:20 it’s a funny correlation that, just over a century ago that sturdy horse would be the ideal method of regular travel (not meaning steam trains and boats for longer travel), maybe not an s class value but does show how far technology has become

When you put the hood up and let go of it without propping it up... that had me shook. I've never seen that before in my life. Blew me away.

@@FayeShadow what a really bias opinion then. I own an S class currently and i dont know if u do too but the interior trust me isnt that good. It may look good but goodness me its not the best . Its not even better than their rivals in terms of quality let alone u said it better than a rolls royce or bentley.

Speaking from experience, avoid the light colour leather if at all possible. It's beautiful but when it's stained, and it will always eventually stain, the discolouration will be permanent. Try any medium colour tone for the leather, it will also look amazing.

Happy New Year to you guys! Once again, thanks for a great channel for me to watch car videos at - my favorite channel, by far! The horse wasn't really impressed by the S450, but I really am. Seeing how easily it accelerated to 250 from 200 kmh basically says all that needs to be said about this new 6 in line powertrain. Not to mention the only noise you can hear is the wind noise and not the engine. I hope in future videos you will again ask the horse for its opinion - I really enjoyed that! Once again, Happy New Year!

Second look for a local specialist mechanic to take care of stuff

Great review, I'm going to buy this car for my dad, he always wanted a S class, finally his dream come true. It's not true that if someone is buying a car is not concerned about fuel economy. If you do around 30k+ km per year, fuel costs get high. I did a research and this engine 3.0 L6 should do about 9,5-11,0 combined max.

Really beautiful car! But..that ECO mode is so scary for me.. This continuous engine stop and starting again ans stop and start at every minute or half minute.. I think It's not very healthy for the engine. :|
Iam not sure but cylinder stop is about 20 years old, they should have sorted our any problems.

I have the same car but with dark interior. It looks very nice, but I can only imagine how it would look after a few year unless you clean it every time you use it
One suggestion, it's not a very bad idea to put camera on your body to mimic the first person view but don't ever try to put it on your head. When you turn around your head the camera is moving so fast and the audience actually doesn't move at all. This results a very uncomfortable experiecne of dizziness and the principle is the same as motion sickness. However I can follow your video to the end, but still thanks for your uploading.

Audi a8 and s class are a class above competition in term of high speed stable/comfortable. The Audi is a bit quieter and the s is a bit more stable

The older S class (70's and 80's and 90's models) were quieter than the current models
Correct, A8 is more stable at high speeds, more than BMW, and S class. I drove them back to back and you can tell difference

If you get the 4Matic you can't get Magic Body Control which is necessary in a high end sedan this size. I would skip the 4Matic for this reason alone.

this car can be even more comfortable if ordered with the base looks and wheels and not AMG package. In the base car the Airmatic is even smoother and more comfortable
