So cool to hear more from this dude. He seems to be the least outspoken of the founders, shying from the publicity side, but for me the aesthetics, story, etc. are what really drew me in to this game, Really glad you got him to do this!
I agree, Its nice to hear from Erik!
Good to hear something from Erik, he's like the silent partner!
Eriks the man! MTX Pog
I really hope we're not getting any more of poe style non-compatible mtx like the clown stuff, that was prolly only mtx set where I felt like it's a joke and it doesn't fit at all and is kinda irritating to see in the game. Like what's next level ? Pokemon set ? Jonathan must have been on vacation when this got released.
I love his view on storytelling, for this kind of game telling The Story would just get in the way of the gameplay too much. Small phrases in item descriptions and enviromental lore you can choose to ignore if you're not into it is great way to do it. Reminds me a lot of Dark Souls where stuff happens in the present, past and future but none of it is super fleshed out, leaving things to imagination.
What a champion
I wish for dented beaten up items as MTX, it would fit nicely into the game.
His mannerisms and voice kinda remind me of Bjorn from Puzzle Agent.
Dantes Inferno league. Explore the 9 circles of Hell and kill all of the deadly sins. Gluttony, lust, greed, anger etc.
I just want alt art races again or a splitting of leagues to encourage hardcore again
Like it sounds like you like met Jonathan just like before this, like because you started like saying like a like lot like like he does :) I like like these like videos though! Will like like it!
It's not an 8-10 hour game but was he talking about Bloodbourne I wonder? Dark, plague medieval game...
He actually said the name of the game, it wasn't a description. It's "A Plague Tale", full title "A Plague Tale: Innocence."
@@helvynn Thanks a ton for clarifying that! Looks like an awesome game too.
I wonder what Warhammer army he collects
no we don't want cut scenes. There are better ways to get the lore
I do. But it's true that it's not cost-effective and the resources that would go into cinematics could be better used elsewhere.
no wasted time making cut scenes. if i want to watch something and not play i will come here.
totally.
cut scenes are so fucking lazy.
They can be optional.
@@ahmeteminaydn5613 but the work/money required to make them would be better spent making gameplay.
@@elLooto cut scenes are lazy? Do you even comprehend what you type?
@@burningpipe2627 lazy is exactly the word I meant.
Its exactly the same as tweeting out that a character in your book is gay.
a swede and a norwegian speaking english.. thats borderline amusing =)
after the end of communism in russia, they held a music festival in moscow; Ozzy opened, but after that was Scorpions (German) singing in english to the rus :)
you must not be aware that swedish and norwegian are very similar languages unlike russian and english and german...
@@philosoaper am I not allowed to include a cross-cultural anecdote without being passive aggressively accused of ignorance?
