Apparently, the California version of a "Project" is more of a collection of 2 storey Compound structures or 2 to 4 family duplexes as opposed to the East Coast's 30 storey Beehive style structures with hundreds of residents but the culture in the streets is exactly the same.

excuse me: those cables you see from 0:45 are they Tv, electricity or both? It's always weird to notice such poorly designed commodities, even in a low income neighborhood
Can you imagine the schools in these neighborhoods with these sprawling projects for blocks. 99% of the kids born into this blight are doomed to repeat the 'gangsta' lifestyle of their dads standing outside a liquor store for work all day and their mother's having another kid once that government cheese is about to end. Poor souls....
My 2 cents. I worked construction with true OG's while I had my business in Lomita 90710. I drove several guys home for years in the 10's and 20's blocks in south central so they wouldnt have to take the bus all the way down Western which took over an hour. I scored dime bags there and even hung out and Im a white boy from Tx. I can tell you that the LA streets are hard as hell because it's so expensive to live even there in the hood but...... Dallas and several other southern cities like Baton Rouge and Nashville NC have some scarier places. Dallas has area's where the cops just dont go. And if you do chances are you're getting jacked.
And people wonder why a lot of towns and cities don't want Public Housing. Property value decreases, crime rates increase, Police Departments need more resources, etc.

Yeah that chopper and police cars obviously for that charger
yeah that clown
Nickerson gardens
Apparently, the California version of a "Project" is more of a collection of 2 storey Compound structures or 2 to 4 family duplexes as opposed to the East Coast's 30 storey Beehive style structures with hundreds of residents but the culture in the streets is exactly the same.
7:19 yeah u in south California
I was more impressed by the Datsun B210 at 7:42 than the burnout
No disrespect but this dosent look that hood at all. Especially coming from the south .
Why doesn't it "look that hood" to you?
Looks can be deceiving
bigdc202 cuz the shit is not run down at all seen way way way worse then jus project complexs lol this beautiful compared to Georgia n Louisiana
It’s just different
Joshua Roa lmao
What's up CharlieBo313? Keep the dope videos coming, brother! True capture of hood reality!
just cause it looks “nice” doesn’t mean anything, the nickersons and jordan down projects are probably more active than a lot of the other hoods he shows
💯
excuse me: those cables you see from 0:45 are they Tv, electricity or both?
It's always weird to notice such poorly designed commodities, even in a low income neighborhood
looks pretty live. much more going on than in other hoods
That's what I thought. A lot of the midwest and east coast goods are just abandoned. Theres tons of people here!
Joel Henderson you from the south?
Miami hoods like that too
Can you imagine the schools in these neighborhoods with these sprawling projects for blocks.
99% of the kids born into this blight are doomed to repeat the 'gangsta' lifestyle of their dads standing outside a liquor store for work all day and their mother's having another kid once that government cheese is about to end.
Poor souls....
bout time bro u made 1 in LA i was jus go ask u on yo last vid to make 1 their
5:32 “ALL MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD” - Uzi Vert
Fucc lil fruity
Charlie you were in Inglewood! I've been watching you since 73k Subs! ❤ Your vids! Welcome to L.A.!!
Yo charlie go to the tenderloin neighborhood in San Francisco since ur on the west coast
And if you do chances are you're getting jacked.
i watch these occasionally to make me feel better about where i live.
And people wonder why a lot of towns and cities don't want Public Housing. Property value decreases, crime rates increase, Police Departments need more resources, etc.
I love L.A two things I like about it the different cultures and alot of people drive older vehicles because of the price of living
SoUTh Outdoors . Those older vehicles are closely monitored I heard, they have to be in good working condition. Can anyone from CA give any info on that?
@@chocolatechipslime thats tru and I do know California is strict when it come to auto emissions
Is it expensive to live in LA?
Counter Kidnapping yeah, for a one bedroom apartment it will probably cost you more than $1,000 a month
Damn u can getta 3 bdrm house in texaz for alil ova a stacc!
You know it's a rough neighbourhood when there's bars on EVERY window!
This is my hood!!!!! I Love L. A.
The car spinnin out in da projects was 🔥 tho...i like dat. Get more footage of dat😏
I remember going to Los Angeles and being shocked that a motel had bullet proof glass to protect the woman at the front desk.
In Texas the store ain't got no glass barriers to protect you. Everything out in the open.
Why didnt you hit the Jordan downs? You hit they rivals spots ☝
CharlieBo we need some narration man! It really makes it a bit more interesting, I liked that when you did it for one or two vids. On an unrelated note, man no matter what you can say about LA, they always seem to have good weather there. At least when you live in the hood there you get sunlight most of the year and decent temps.
Damn Charlie Los Angeles now! You are officially the man
Wow, the sound of wheels and car machine while doing circles at the street is incredible.
That's a hemi V8 💪
1:08 that song is when its time to die
Who cares
Lmaoooooo
I noticed more than a few people wearing blue and red at the same time, is the dress code in the streets stressed like it used to be?
Kamal Lukata it’s different hat Nd bandanna determines the gang now
U still in soCal go to San Bernardino
Jazz Koolaid yup dino more turnt up then L.A
Now that would've been a better idea.... Especially at night
Richard Ramirez false... Berdonothing is like lancaster... Doesn't compare but its getting worse by the day tho
@Cali Prynce 😂😂😂😂
That’s the truth. Abandoned rust belt type city here on the west coast
Honestly it's not THAT bad, not great, but not the hell on earth movies/music/hollywood make it out to be
Its pretty obvious you're not here lol
The palm trees are a delight to see coming from the Midwest not a palm tree in sight
It but we got nice farmland
@4:08 dude looking like he saw a rival slippin'!
U prolly got hard right
Looks like San Jose before the techies, completely took over.😂
Here in Cali if you see a neighborhood that has bars on windows, it's not a safe area lol.
been waiting years for this one , could u do one in Long Beach, Compton, Richmond, South central, Vallejo, and Chicago Heights. That will be greatly appreciated I love your videos, fam keep it up, much love from a subscriber Charliebo313
Don't know if I can get all those this time. I got a lot of places I wanted to do and many requests. The only one I can Guarantee is South Central and Compton. I have already filmed some of Compton. The othe 2 are a maybe.
Well if u ever come back to where I live in Chicago lol just go south of dan Ryan and on to 94 and keep going til u run into Lincoln highway . There’s three hoods Sauk village/ford heights/ and Chicago heights lol it’s a pretty big area to cover but yeah just leaving options
@@CharlieBo313 in south central please go to Slauson and western and walk in the Slauson swapmeet, go to Crenshaw in the 60's, go to Baldwin village, go to 83 and western ave (that's the eight trey gangstas hood) go to Jesse owens park that's the rollin 90's crip hood. All of those spots are good. Also do jooba locs hood in Long Beach "brik boy crips"
So Nickerson gardens and Jordan downs not far from each other?
Go to Grove St.
NOLA nigga that ain’t real la created crips and bloods
Yo what kind of Charger is that. Shit like that make me want to grind even harder. 6:45 7:45 good video C.
A Newer One, a Lot of them here in Southern California, Not Like the Chargers from Around 50 Years Ago!
Cars is nice in LA damn
Crystal Watson lots of money in LA

This video is inspiring for me to visualize changing my life. Going from getting by to thriving. We stay visiting the hood when we go outta town. Will always be in me.
I like this LA flavour. The sun and the palmtrees. Still in germany many People knows this projects.
I allready know that People over there didn't play and lost their live's 4 their hood, so no disrepect.
I find your videos fascinating. Keep em coming. I'll keep watching. :-)
Dang that's where I stay at Nickerson Gardens all day 👌BHW

Ice cream truck was playing Home on the Range, "Give me a home where the buffalo roam. Where the deer and the antelope play. Where seldom is heard a discouraging word. And the skies are not cloudy all day." As the sky was full of those stupid fake 'clouds.'
Funny how shit changes @ night lol 😂
