Note from my father in a phone call: “You ambushed me with my real thoughts on the mask. I wasn’t prepared. I couldn’t think of anything. Medicare will pay for one every 30 days.BUT you can't buy anything now to CLEAN THEM. At $54 a shot what waste of money. Also, I got less than 90% mask fit when comfortably adjusted the fit. Better than 90% mask fit when I cranked the head set down to uncomfortable levels. . Oh I have a beard just like you did in video, but I keep it trimmed. Still had leaks. My 2 cents, just stay with the F20, mask fit 100% often but on average 97%...
Have only worn this twice and still have a red frown face on screen in the mornings plus have a hard time getting it to seal. I even trimmed my go T smaller and still no seal. Last night cranked it down and woke up with marks. Not sure this is as good as you say
I started with a dreamwear three weeks ago. I had problems every night with leaks. Last night was my first night with the airtouch f20 and love it! Huge difference. Thank you Jason for all if your videos. You're super entertaining and knowledgeable.
They should design it so you just need to buy the foam part and it can be fitted to the original plastic mask, less waste and maybe less cost. I have a bread and have been using the Silicon mask and just lately it has been leaking, so I will buy the Air Touch and fit it to my F20 and give it a try. Thanks for the great video :)
No one told my Dad that the mask was only supposed to last a month. Also he wash it about every two weeks. He has also has had the same mask for over 6 months without replacement. But it has held up pretty well.

I can't believe I missed the AirTouch memo. My wife accidentally broke my mask today (slammed it in a door) and I stumbled onto this video while shopping for a replacement. Thanks as always for the info. Just bought one, hope it arrives quickly.
Just an update: a week into my new Air Touch F20 and it’s quiet, so incredibly quiet, comfortable and really easy to fit properly. No leaks and it stays put even with my side-sleeping gyrations. This mask is a game changer and thanks again for providing quality reviews and good content. 👍🏻
Just requested one from my sleep tech based on this review since I have a full beard and the F20 silicone was causing massive leak spikes. Not only is the memory foam mask more comfortable, but my nightly events have seemed to drop quickly into what I would consider a “normal” range. Thank you for this!
I just learned something mew from watching this video on the Airtouch 20 full face mask. I have struggled with all different masks for the past 20 years. This mask is most comfortable, but had a problem (even with the silicone f20) problem with my mouth\jaw drops and a Zero score for an air leak (my jaw was popping out below mask). Watching this video & noticing that you have the bottom strap back towards ear lobes. That's what I noticed how you have the magnet strap, closer to the ears to make a tight seal. Thanks so Much!!
I have tried both cushions and love them! The memory foam is so comfortable!!! I agree hate 30 days use and throw away, plus sticker price, however; it feels so soft and seals well. I'm glad I have medicare to help pay. Love your videos, you are awesome!
This is a stupid question because I haven't seen a video on it yet the airtouch f 20 how do you wash the memory foam on it I just got it like 3 days ago?
I am in love with the AirTouch, don't understand it but have used mine 7 months and it still looks great. Light cleaning with wipes and once a week with ozone and that's it. Only thing, I measured a solid medium with the measuring guide but it felt like it was too high on my chin and a touch to narrow. Changed to large and much better.
I’m new to CPAP and greatly appreciate your videos on all of the different types of masks with your honest opinion of each.I started with the F20 Air Touch and find it to be very comfortable, and quiet.I would like to try the F30i since that mask is a little smaller, but not certain it will be as comfortable. Thank you for providing great informative entertaining videos.God Bless.
I have been using this mask for about 5 months now. I am only getting about 3 weeks out of the mask. I am a big time drooler and by the third week the bottom corners are hard and crusty. I have a silicone mask that I use to get me through the month. But, it is an extremely comfortable mask and I enjoy using it.
After watching this video, I switched to this mask. What a difference. Much more comfort & next to no leaks at all. I use to use the AirFit F20 and it was uncomfortable on my big Snoz. Also my AirFit F2o with the silicone cushion leaked like crazy. Thank You Lanky Lefty...Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
I’ve been using this mask for a couple months now, best mask ever, and I have a full beard. My leaks are gone, no marks on my face. People at work thought I quit using my Cpap because my face has no marks. I’m getting more than 30 days out of the mask also.
Really love your videos, so funny. You've helped me so much as a new user. I have been using the foam mask for just over 3 months and it is just starting to split, so I think most people should be able to get 3 months use from it.
Hi Jasón! This is about my F20 memory foam mask. Happy to report that I’m so in love with it, getting 100% fit every single night on masks that I’ve been using for at least 5 months!!! I gently wipe them every day with CPAP Mask wipes. That’s it! Like you, I hated to dispose of them after 30 days... what a waste! Kept on using them, as long as my Dream Mapper results were between 98 to 100% Love your videos! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge with us!!!
This has got to be the best mask cushion I have ever used. Some CPAP mask cushions have an issue with their exhaust going right back in your eyes. Even without leaks. The exhaust ports on this mask are perfect so as to prevent air flow back into your eyes, cheeks, and face while trying to sleep. You get the perfect seal every time with this mask. I wouldn't go without at least cleaning this mask with CPAP wipes and a light spray of CPAP sanitizer. When cleaning, you wouldn't want to saturate it with water or other liquids because the memory foam would absorb the liquid like a sponge and rot. On balance, this has got to be the best of the best CPAP cushions available out there.
Got the new mask memory foam. Keep it away from water or any skin product. I did clean it once and foam changed shape. Lasts about 5 weeks then it starts to leak in small areas. Very comfortable and no pressure sores anywhere! Well worth the expense.
I've been using the exact same old f20 airfit mask (never replaced it) for almost 2 years with very little cleaning. Just now got its first little tear at the bottom. I'll try the new Airtouch and see how long I can get one mask to last.
My F20 with memory foam is the best mask I ever used. Insurance pays for a new mask every month. However, I do wash them out in mild soap and reuse them. I squeeze out as much water as I can with a dry towel and it still takes at least a day or two to dry. I sleep hot, so I do get some dampness and heat in this mask. If I do get up to go to the bathroom, I will switch to a dry face piece.
Have found this foam mask to be very comfortable, and requires less strap pressure to maintain the fit. Sleepyhead reports no major leaks, but I am fortunate not to have had a max pressure of 12 cmH2O.
I have a thick full beard, and I'm struggling with a proper seal. I started off with the medium, but it was too small for my face so I switched to a large. Even still, it feels as though it pinches the bridge of my nose a bit too much. I feel like I'm getting "blown out" too. This is like the 3rd type of mask I've tried and no success. I'm starting to get discouraged from continuing my CPAP therapy, but I really need it...
I couldn't get the cushions to last more than 2 weeks or so before they split at the bridge. Cushions are too expensive for how long they last. Loved the mask otherwise, very comfortable and no leaks. I'm using the DreamWear FFM now.
Jason, just had to add this review where I thought it would do the most good. I think like myself, many people turn to UA-cam to get advice on new areas in their lives. I was told for a number of years by my wife to get a sleep study. Finally did and was experiencing over 100 AHI per minute. During the sleep study, used a nasal pillow for the last 5 hours. I liked the sleep quality, but it made my nose sore. Dr. recommended a nasal mask, the Eson 2. After two nights, my wife had did a video of me that sounded like a constant wave of noise rushing out my mouth. She said if that was what she had to live with, she preferred the snoring. Absorbed a lot of your very informational videos and became a subscriber. Noted that my mouth leak was the issue and tried mouth taping which only gave me ongoing chipmunk cheeks and dry mouth and my seal points were still only 2/20. I finally settled on a full facemask. From your videos and your Dad, this one seemed to be the most comfortable. Happy wife = happy life. Scored a perfect 100 on my myAir app the first night and my wife said she could take out her ear plugs. She observed that at one time while going to the bathroom, she had to check me to see if I was dead as I was so quiet. If you have mouth leak, do not be afraid of full face masks. This one is so comfortable and I fall asleep as normal and hardly even move and do not wake my partner. No mouth leaks, no dry mouth, only blissful and peaceful sleep for both of us. Pressure prescription is at 18. Thanks for all the helpful stuff and keep it coming!!!😍 UPDATE: Eventually went with the AirFit (silicone) mask over the AirTouch (memory foam) mask. The AirFit adheres perfectly to my face with no leaks. The AirTouch leeks some into my eyes and around the lower part between my nose and mouth. Getting perfect scores m=on myAir App.
Thank you for introducing me to the Air Touch F20. My sleep dr. keeps complaining about the air leaks with thw silicone mask i have. This will be so much better and let me sleep better. 😊🎉
I bought airtouch w the foam and it shredded faster than the airfit F20. Its because the soft part the silicone or foam has maybe 1/16 of an inch of contact space between the soft part and hard plastic and doesnt take long to develope tears especially on the bottom of the liner
In the outside chance you're still looking at comments on a 5 year old video... Been "using" a CPAP machine for the last two months. It has NOT gone well for me. Started with nose pillows thinking i was supposed to breath through my nose even though though i can't regularly breathe through my nose and have a deviated septum. Used your research and others to arrive at buying the Airtouch F20 for myself (apparent mouth breather and i have a beard). When I initially put it on, I get a seal, and it feels like i should be breathing through my nose. if i open my mouth, move my face, even a little, I get huge leaks at the bottom of my mask. I'm using a large as I was right in between a M and L, but i take it off after 30 mins as I can't take the leaks. Any advice? thanks.
I have like 3 or 4 of the Airfit F20 Masks and, I kid you not, none of the cushions have gone bad. I've used them for over a year and they're still basically as good as the day I got them.
After seeing your comments on this mask I went to my DME and got this one. It sure is comfortable, will test it tonight and see how I sleep. I did notice there is very small air vent and feel a little around the connection. I hope I will get enough fresh air with this. My old mirage Quattro has a bigger air vent it seemed to help not having that suffocating feeling. Love your channel and your sense of humor!!!!!
I use this mask exclusively and I wash it. Slobber during the night is a problem for me and it does stain the mask. I am very careful when I do wash it by not using a brush, but just my fingers. I place it upon the dryer when my wife washes clothes and usually it will dry by evening. I think it can be used longer if you take care cleaning it. Also, for my edit, the harness that comes with this unit is much better than the one you used.
I just started with CPAP and started with the silicone F20. the 2 nites I used it, for some reason at the 4hr mark I was getting leaks that I couldn't fix. I just received the air touch cushion replacement for tonight and I'm hopeful!
I really want to like this mask, but I've found that no matter how I adjust the fit, I end up with the peak of the mask pressing into the area between my eyebrows and causing discomfort and a major dent there in the morning OR if I loosen it enough to avoid that, I get leaks by the eyes. Just not for me. The F10 has a less pointy peak and seems to work better for me. Of course, I just ordered F10 supplies and then discovered the F30. Probably will try that one next.
So I've been using this mask and my bipap says that it's sealing properly, but when I record my data with Oscar and seek advice on sleep apnea forums, they say that I'm still having some leaks which could be preventing me from getting optimal treatment. Any advice on fixing this problem?
I started cpap with this mask on 10/1. Never realized I wasn't supposed to clean it and I cleaned the mask thoroughly and wiped the foam seal down with a cpap wipe every day. 2 months, I'm trying a different style mask but 8 weeks on the foam f20 and still looks like new.
stumbled upon you after seeing this mask on www.cpap.com. i'm struggling with leakage as i move around in my sleep. you have convinced me to try this mask. after years of non-compliance and i'm really trying to save my own life by consistently using the cpap. hopefully, i will find the mask for me. thanks for your videos.
Crazy, I was shopping for a new cushion and randomly decided to try the air touch cushion for the memory foam. I figured it was probably more comfortable but I had no idea until I saw this video that it works great with beards. So yeah, now I'm really looking forward to using it. It'll be interesting to see how long it will last, I've had cushions last for months before the silicone seal starts to come loose.
Doc, you had the mask on too tight. You could see the foam was compressed all the way around and that's not how it's worn. Wearing it that way creates leaks on the bridge of your nose and sends jets of air into your eyes.
the connector between hose and mask was re-design and now does not permits to be washed because it gets moldy due to the permanent moisture in the fiber filter that was installed to make it noiseless item, big mistake because it makes a lot noise and drips when the person starts to use it every night.
For some dam reason, the Silicon F20 actually makes me feel deprived of oxygen with a hipster beard. Yet, resmed doesn't show any major leaking. In fact, 0 leaking. When i shave, i feel much better. Docs are completely puzzled. So i am trying the cushion one. Hope it works when i get it
Instant sub. So informative. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I got my CPAP machine a little earlier this year and have experienced much better sleep. However I am looking to change my mask. This has helped me tremendously.
What about using Lumin CPAP sanitizer with the AirTouch 20. Lumin which utilizes UV-C light for disinfecting masks and tubings ? Will Lumin ruin or damage the AirTouch cushion ?
Hey lefty, I was watching one of your videos about the air touch mask, might be this one. But you said, It's only spose last 30 day and not to be washed. Well I was using wipes untill I got sick. I have since started using a probiotic cleaner. 99.9 effective. I spray the mask down avoiding the foam, rinsing with water and squeezing the water out of the foam with a towel, then air dry. Has worked great so far.
The mask feels nice and soft when you first put it on. After an hour or so you actually notice the sandpaper like feel of the foam padding which starts to irritate you-a gritty kind of feel. No real difference with the airfit N20 in terms of seal ( maybe slightly better on the nasal bridge). I had high expectations of this mask but after a few uses I was disappointed. Not sustainable economically if you use face mask every night. Probably OK if you have to use it now and then for nasal congestion/colds etc.
I've used CPAP and BiPAP masks for 15+ years. The F20 is definitely the best. I also have a beard. The only drawback, and that is probably only me, no leaks but my mouth gets so dry I develop a very dry mouth and a sore in the center of my mouth between the lip and gum. Otherwise, it's the best mask I've had.
Was that a large mask? I just got the Medium and the foam is touching the corners of my mouth and the foam around the nose is constricting my nose breathing. Any tips? Thanks
I have been using the f20 for 45 days with a goatee and I could not get the leak down to a acceptable amount on a regular basis. That is until I shaved the facial hair from the lower lip and under the chin, since doing that I have had no leaks detected. Otherwise I like the mask
Been using a dreamwear for over two years without having to replace any part of it, so the thought of having to replace a part every month does make this a mask a hard sell.
I definitely appreciate all the info here, but man that sponsor calling themselves "cheap" CPAP supplies, charging $60 for a cushion when you can buy a cushion off Amazon / Walmart's 3rd party vendor listings, etc. for $20 is hilarious.
That seems pretty appealing. I'm currently using F&P Vitera and it only leaks every once in a while, but always at the top of my nose, shooting air into my eye and waking me up. It might be worth using this for comfort. Maybe the use of a remzzzs would extend its life?
It’s my favourite mask especially the memory foam... wiping it daily with a CPAP wipe keeps it clean and will last a lot longer. ✨Cheers from Aussie Land down under✨😎👍🇦🇺
thanks for the video. I have the Resmed P30 full face mask. However, I hate the feeling of silicon on my skin...feel like I am sweating with it on all night. Saw the memory foam on the F20 and was wondering if this will solve the issue?
I like the f20. I really wanted the f39 to work but to much leakage from the nose. I’m going back to f20. What are your thoughts on the infinity seal cushion for the f20
Just bought one of these setups with the foam cushion ( 5 of them ) for the same price as with 1 standard cushion. It’s arriving next week. The 30 day thing sounds like an exercise of marketing over reality, but guess I’ll find out. It would be nice if this gear was priced like consumables should be. I’m sensing disproportionate margins in the mix , especially here in Australia. Thanks for another informative video.👍🏻
Sorry if I missed this or it has been asked, but do you have any recommendations for extending the lifetime of the cushion? Based on your review I ordered one a few months back and love mine but damn the memory foam deteriorates quicker than my insurance will offer me a monthly replacement and it’s driving me nuts. It splits from the pressure against the bridge of my nose. Thanks in advance
I’m a millennial but I’m not pissed at you because we do suck. I’m pissed that I was so anxious to get my cpap machine but it’s been hell trying to get my mask to work while still being compliant. (Dreamwear full face) I’m going to request an f20 today and if they don’t let me switch, im just going to buy it out of pocket. So desperate for a decent mask. Thanks for your videos
This is the mask that was suggested to me because my face swells from other masks. I just started using it in medium and that’s what they’ve always measured me as but now I’m wondering if I should be a large? How do I know for myself and is this really the best option for facial skin swelling? Thanks :)
I’ve had the Resmed f30i and it’s been causing me to have really red, irritated skin around my nose/nostril areas, despite trying to use mask liners. :/ It never seems to fully go away. Maybe this would be a possible better option, more skin-friendly?
I've been using this mask for months and I just love it. My mother-in-law made me some reusable liners so I'm able to get a lot more than one month out of a mask, which is great because of both price and being so wasteful. I don't think I have had a single bad leak since I started using this one. It just seems to be so much more comfortable than all the other masks I have tried.
I just received this mask and I am so disappointed. I used it for two nights and my seal was perfect, but my AHIs were well into the 20s. I have been using Resmed pillows that have a lot of leakage but my AHIs are low. The problem is the upper part of the mask. It’s squishes my nares together.I wake up constantly breathing through my mouth. Took me a couple nights to figure out what was going on. I guess I’m sending it back. I have a small nose but I guess it’s just a little bit too wide.
So I saw this video after I got the Evora full face and cut off my lifetime mustache lol. Anyway I decided to give it a try. The tech if you will fitted me wrong with a large size mask. I tried it for 2 or 3 nights it sucked as far as not breaking seal. I went back today and was refitted with a medium size. I will get to try it out. in the morning I work nights. I have tried nasal pillows , nasal , Evora , but this full face with memory foam if its as good as I hope I'll stick with it. BTW , my insurance covers 3 mask at a time , so 3 months maybe 4 cycles. Nice.😎 Also a note , I dig your channel
I can't believe you get away with moving the mask around without leaking I follow all the instructions in the videos, there doesn't seem to be any leaking, but I get the little red frowny-face every time What am I doing wrong - or is there something wrong with the machine? Thanks.
Recently diagnosed with mild obstructive apnea. I have facial hair and wanted to know what the best mask was for someone with facial hair. I really don't want to shave the goatee/beard. Thanks!
Cheers for that Jason. I've been using the Airtouch for a month now. I agree with your dad about it feeling looser. I found I could tighten it much more than the Airfit before it felt uncomfortable. I have been having one problem with it though (apart from having to replace it far too often)... I really struggle to get a seal around the bridge of my nose (I'm on 10 cm H2O). It's really weird as I have no problems at all with the Airfit round the nose, but with the Airtouch I get an awful lot of leaks directly into my eyes. I can stop them by tightening the upper straps, but I have to tighten quite a lot more than with the Airfit. Is this because the Airtouch doesn't have the ribbing around the nose, which the Airfit has? I'd really like to switch to the Airtouch, as it is pretty comfy compared to the Airfit, but seal quality around the nose might very well mean sticking with the Airfit...
Note from my father in a phone call: “You ambushed me with my real thoughts on the mask. I wasn’t prepared. I couldn’t think of anything. Dad's a good sport 😊
Airtouch is dope AF
Do you know anything about the liners that you can purchase for the airtouch F20 to make it last longer

I am in the same position
I use baby wipes to clean mine! So far, I'm at 6 weeks and still going!
still liking mine three years later. Finally getting the new AirSense 11 tomorrow!
Thanks for all the helpful stuff and keep it coming!!!😍
UPDATE: Eventually went with the AirFit (silicone) mask over the AirTouch (memory foam) mask.
I've got one on the way and am looking forward to it, as the F20 silicon mask has been absolutely killing the side of my nose.
Just got my f20 and I’m looking forward to using it, thanks for the review.
David in kingman Arizona
I have this setup it’s AWESOME also I’m a bearded dude it’s suuuuper comfortable
AirFit cushions, or the AirTouch memory foam cushions?
@@Freecpapadvice Airfit, the platinum silicone ones.
Is this mask universal with other CPAP machines? Like phillips cpaps?
Ryan Hall , Hi, Im really not sure if it’s universal, I have a ResMed 10 and you have to set up for full mask in the menu.
Yes, only machine they aren't universal with is the AirMini....unless you have a special adapter for it.
So I got the size for the mask but what about the headgear? It says it comes in 3 sizes but nothing on how to pick the headgear size.
I was given the F20 foam mask during a sleep lab session and love the fit. My only gripe is the hard portion of the insert.
Yeah same with me its annoying
I've been using them for awhile now, takes a lil time to get em broke in, to get a good seal, but, I've been getting about 6-8 weeks out of them... 👍
Very good to know!
stumbled upon you after seeing this mask on www.cpap.com. i'm struggling with leakage as i move around in my sleep. you have convinced me to try this mask. after years of non-compliance and i'm really trying to save my own life by consistently using the cpap. hopefully, i will find the mask for me. thanks for your videos.
The airtouch f 20 moves in and out with every breath keeping me awake. Any thoughts?
For some dam reason, the Silicon F20 actually makes me feel deprived of oxygen with a hipster beard. Yet, resmed doesn't show any major leaking. In fact, 0 leaking. When i shave, i feel much better. Docs are completely puzzled. So i am trying the cushion one. Hope it works when i get it
I've been using for a week and am having problems getting to seal around nose. Constantly leaking.
Me, too. Any resolution?
I've tried to use the CPAP but I rip it off everynight when I fall asleep. Sometimes in as little as 10 minutes.
Instant sub. So informative. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I got my CPAP machine a little earlier this year and have experienced much better sleep. However I am looking to change my mask. This has helped me tremendously.
You, unlike me, are rocking the "beard of glory!"
I love this mask. So much better than any other one I have tried
Never explains how the thing actually works. What does the hose attach to? Is there an air pump it attaches to/
It's a CPAP mask, so it attaches to a CPAP machine.
It’s really the only thing I’m not a fan of with this mask. Glad the Dreamwear is working for you!
Medical supplies are tax deductible
Mine last about 14 days before I start getting leak issues. Especially around my nose Frustrating
I definitely appreciate all the info here, but man that sponsor calling themselves "cheap" CPAP supplies, charging $60 for a cushion when you can buy a cushion off Amazon / Walmart's 3rd party vendor listings, etc. for $20 is hilarious.
Get your equipment wherever it makes financial sense to do so.
I have a thin beard and wear this setup. I like it. Works great for me. Wasteful....? Maybe but its comfortable and I'll keep using it.
It is very comfortable.
If your a side sleeper the exhaust air is blowing back at you unlike the resmed full mask blow away
I like this mask alot because I was spending alot of money for mask liners and don't need a liner with this one.
Do you know if the F20 mask cushion will fit the F10 frame?? Thanks from a bearded guy
The margins are crazy. There really isn't a way for me to fix this other than my bootleg cheap(er) mask site.
It would be good if they made one, where you could buy one with a detachable seal and just replace the foam, after 30 days.🤔
Is this considered a full face , pillows or nasal
I’m gonna try this , how do I know what size to pick ?
As far as really solid deep sleep the memory foam. Is in a class of its own.,cozy, comfy ,ha💤
I have the top nose part the foam will rip in half. And I since bought a new one and I can’t keep a seal good after 1 week of use.
This is the mask that was suggested to me because my face swells from other masks. I just started using it in medium and that’s what they’ve always measured me as but now I’m wondering if I should be a large? How do I know for myself and is this really the best option for facial skin swelling? Thanks :)
Thank you for this video. The mask is perfect! I went from 40% mask fit to 100% every night
Glad you like it and even more happy you're doing better with it!
Getting inferior fit on the dreamstation. Not sure why. So frustrating.. any ideas? It doesn't trigger the machine to come on by itself either.
That’s a huge scarf. Is it really that cold in side
I’ve had the Resmed f30i and it’s been causing me to have really red, irritated skin around my nose/nostril areas, despite trying to use mask liners. :/ It never seems to fully go away. Maybe this would be a possible better option, more skin-friendly?
I have a beard. I love the mask, but mine on Amazon for cheap!
Can you tell me how she made the reusable liners so I can make me some I purchase some that's such a great idea
Nice.😎
Also a note , I dig your channel
Personally i dont care Jason because my insurance sends me 3 memory foam cushion every 3 months on autopay .it blows away the silicon by a landslide
I was looking for diving mask and facial hair solutions
I tried the memory foam it would split on my nose. I wonder if SoClean damages
Mine leaks all the time, I don't think it fits my face very well
