It seems to vary a lot from person to person. There isn't a specific course you have to take, but you can look at the recommended learning tracks and create an estimate from there. It's also a good idea to take the readiness quiz.
I think DC is useless, I only use it for templates of code. And pay for this full access because they close your access if you are not continue paying. Reason - very simple courses not related to real problems.
