It looks like the beach has gotten even bigger and deeper as more sand has been washed ashore from eastward up the coast. Great video !!! Didn't take long for y'all to make good use of that new beach !!!

@@StrangeHawaii I was hoping the boat ramp was going to be able to be dredged out, but if things continue as they are, there may come a time when it would be impractical to do so and another site will have to be chosen as more and more sand seems to be accumulating in front of it. They could put in some pumps though to circulate the water in the pond next to the boat ramp or it eventually will be come full of funk and bugs and not be so good for swimming.
Nice job showing the full beach and surfers, we got a better view then those present. Is it just me or is the shore line still changing? That blue water looks so amazing. Thank you Jeremiah.

Great job on the videography, nicely edited to a pleasant afternoon video. Is the water in the lagoon around the boat ramp renewed somehow? Maybe from the rain? Seems like it would not be clean for swimming without some source of new water.
It's not clean enough for swimming but that's the risk some people take
Beautiful video. I recall writing over 5 months ago that I thought the beach was going to widen out with continuing erosion from the northern lava field. And it hasn't disappointed! It looks about 100 feet from the boat ramp. The height is amazing. Wow. I imagine the process will continue for a long, long time. Truly remarkable. The remnants of the pond don't look like something you'd want to swim in, tho.

The flashes of the contest sign were to quick to read, so became annoying annoying. Just my opinion, the rest of it was awesome as usual!
