If anyone is wondering where the name Heaven 17 came from it was in the movie A Clockwork Orange that one of the gang members referred to a fictional band and he used the name Heaven 17.
Probably my favourite H17 song. Well after Let Me Go, of course. Nice vid to accompany it, well put together to show the madness of the narrator. adriane61 - the "new version" of this track first appeared (alongside another "new version" of Lets All Make A Bomb") on the b side of the 12" single of Come Live With Me in the UK. Its interesting that its on the US version of The Luxury Gap. Is it an expanded cd version of the album?
One of their more interesting songs. I had this on tape many years ago. I didn't know there was a video for this song. I take it this is an official video with a Clockwork Orange theme, not something put together by a fan?
My absolute favourite heaven 17 song....love all...but this is so dark and amazing
THIS IS THIER BEST SONG FROM ONE OF THE BEST ALBUMS OF THE 80S
Brilliant video accompaniment of a great, claustrophobic H17 masterpiece
It's just a compilation of Clockwork Orange clips - Heaven 17 got their name from the film (as did Moloko and Campag Velocet).
I seem to have a strange subconscious connection to this song.

Man do I love that ominous table saw effect!
This is how i imagine how The Human League would have continued with Oakey after "Travelogue". Maybe it`s even some left over from the same era.
not heard this one for ages a top posting of a top track that i had almost forgoten about ';-)

The Corova milk bar sold milk plus, Veloset or drencrumb, that's what we were drinking..
Ahead of its time
Clockwork Orange - Nice. Record shop scene (03:00) where The Heaven Seventeen took their name I believe.
Also spot the 2001 soundtrack album!

Listening to this song always makes me think of Simon Cowell.
