MTV was available as a radio station back then. I tried to record songs without knowing what was coming. Many times I interrupted songs that finally turned out to be quite good, and they never turned up again. Today it's easier, but only for those who know what they want.

For those who understand music, heavy metal is the same recipe as drum and bass, especially the techstep period. It’s end result is the same. I never used to get the metal thing, I had friends that were into it. After years of listening to DnB I finally understood what it was all about.
