People need to stop buying bulb projects. 1,800 buck for a bulb projector is crazy. I could see if it was laser. There no way a bulb projector can replace a tv. If this projector is only getting 4,000 hour's on normal there no way there getting 10,000 on eco and 15,000 on smart eco. I think benq are fudging #.
It's funny that when you said more expensive projectors you showed the Sony line and a JVC. That's because I just purchased the Sony VPL-XW5000ES last week 😮. It's my 4th projector in 22 years and one of the best images I've ever seen!
Thanks for watching! We haven't had a chance to review the HT3560 but looking at the specs they should be very close to each other in terms of black levels and contrast. The HT3560 does come with Filmmaker mode and should have better color detail since it covers 95% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. You are giving up some brightness with the HT3560 (2200) lumens compared to (3300) with the TK860i. Hope this helps!
Would you recommend this over the BenQ GP500 for casual cinema experience? What's a disadvantage of this model compared to the GP500, except for speakers and light bulb ? (Considering they're both sold at the same price)
Thanks for watching! BenQ offers replacement bulbs for the TK850i so I would hope they will be offering bulbs for the TK860i as well. The TK860i was recently released so they may be coming soon, but I can't say for certain. Hope this helps.
@@TwoGuyzTech Thanks so much, that's the last piece of information I was waiting for to go ahead and buy this projector, thanks a lot , your review was very helpful for me
Hi and thanks for watching! That's a great question, I actually think it's better not to build it in because if the stick stops working for some reason it can be replaced with very little hassle. And if your already used to a different type of streaming stick for example: Something like Fire TV, then you can go that route instead. Hope this helps!

Those blacks look deep black which is very important to me.

Get the 3560 for dark rooms

How good is ht3560? In terms of black levels and contract

Awful audio
Is the android tv 4k? I have the 3000 gaming one and it came with 1080 android tv
Thanks for watching! Yes the TK860i ships with the QS02 stick which outputs and streams in full 4K 60fps. Hope this helps!

Hi and thanks for watching! The TK860 has less input lag and is much brighter than the GP500 so in my opinion it is the better choice for gaming.
@@TwoGuyzTech Thanks! Have you also tried BenQ x3000i as well? I'm wondering if it's as bright as TK860. Also, which is best for movies?
Is it possible to plug in a USB Stick with JPEG images and review them directly without any computer/dvd player?
how would you connect ps5 to this. do you need a receiver. thanks
Hi and thanks for watching! Just plug the HDMI from your PlayStation into an HDMI on the back of the projector. No receiver needed.
If I am watching sports (hockey), can I drop the resolution to 1080 at 240hz? Not sure if thats a thing, I'm new to this sort of thing. Thanks
cant find the replacement lamp for this model on BenQ website , it will be a big no go for me if this model doesnt have replace lamp

Hey again, just a quick update, checked in with BenQ and they should have replacement bulbs for this model posted and available sometime this week.

Why is the ht4550i $1000 more? I have done a ton of research and the specs look almost identical. Could you please let me know?
LED and horizontal lens shift
Get the BenQ W2710 for better black levels. It has less lumen though.
What max. screen size can i get from 12ft. Distance
What about the 3d?
My exact question . What glasses does it require
The only one thing. I do not understand. With some of these projectors. That comes with streaming sticks. Why do they not build it in?

It may not look as good as an actual screen but it should work.
