Yoshiki Tanaka's very keen political insight when writing Legend of the Galactic heroes came from his scholarship involving the Sui, Tong dynasties and Persian's imperial history.
To play devil's advocate . It is easy to say things like "we should fund all science more", but as someone who works in the environmental field, often times there is a limited budget and choices have to be made. As someone very interested in sexuality... yes we were having the porn discussion 15 years ago. And that was only just as UA-cam was going massive and smart phones were coming into existence. So... the problem is not that its too available. The issue is people don't see it as something which *can* have negative effects or dismiss that as puritanical without taking it seriously. Or they didn't talk about it at all. Now at least we can have these discussions and equate adult content with drinking, smoking, gambling, coffee, and anything else you can get addicted to.
the question about looks where they said that women would propably say strongly disgree, i totally felt that. one day i feel like a bad b, the other day i think i am ugly.... there is no inbetween... xD
The artstyle of Violet evergarden definetly made me more interested in watching it I wouldn’t necessarily be so invested in a deep story about people wanting to connect with eachother with letters like that
I don't think ill ever understand people's criticism of early One Piece animation while it is older, it isn't bad at all. It's obviously not on the same level as anything current but saying it's bad is actually just wrong and feels like something a teenager who has only seen current shonen would say. I think the animation completely mirrors the manga in every way that matters and I'd honestly argue that the newer One Piece having way better (or newer) animation might be worse if they make it too current. I'm still excited for it because eventually it will fix the pacing issues later on down the line when I'm 50 or some shit lol. I'm not saying they specifically called it bad but they implied it was an issue in some way which I find very dumb. Edit: this isn't an attack on anyone who just got into anime but just that people who are newer tend to have that opinion. Also this comment comes off more aggressive than I intended, it was just something I needed to express somewhere in some form. No hate to Trash Taste (aka the best podcast hands down)
I reread the early manga recently and it looks so fucking good. The early anime does not compare. Not bad, though. I’d say the problem with One Piece is that its animation improved slower than the industry standard.
24:50 reminds of mass effect when garrus felt tyrants could be justified in dire times because they get shit done... which... only works if the tyrant has great goals and is "human" which goes against the otion of tyrant

Would LOVE a trash Taste Special where joey needs to learn cooking for the boys!!😳❣️
I can't belive they are on episode 195.
Sallad tip: sliced tomato, cucumber and feta cheese:) you can season it or eat it just like that and its amazing plus it takes only 5 min to make! Best part is you can add whatever else you want like lettuce or avocado and its not only customised now but also even more taste and crunch and goodness🥒+🍅+🧀=🥗
I was having a bad day until I clicked this video.
It's a little better now. Thanks guys.
Garnt can make a lasagna but can’t make a salad😂
the question about looks where they said that women would propably say strongly disgree, i totally felt that. one day i feel like a bad b, the other day i think i am ugly.... there is no inbetween... xD
Well goodness gracious! It seems that most recent episodes are the boiis playing some games and or answering some questions 😆🫠
I still stand that One Pumch S2 didn't have bad animation,it was mix of bad directing and style choice. Like the the part where genos stand up after garou throws him in the ground was sick
You guys did it. There is more TrashTase content than One Piece (at least the anime)
Connor looks so much younger without a beard. Really explains why he's Mr. 93%.
The more years pass on this channel, the more the podcast evolves into Good Mythical Morning minigames 😂
Joey bullies Fairy Tail more than Sword Art Online
32:00 I mean, literally thousands of people were calling for there to be NO season 3 of One Punch Man because the animation on 4 of the episodes in the second season was SLIGHTLY worse than in the first season.
LET'S GO NEW TRASH TASTE EPISODE!!!!!!!!
The Jaws of Life are a hydrolic tool that can be cutters that are used to rescue people from car crashes.
I always thought it had a dope name.
31:20 Nanatsu no taizai is THE proof of what bad animation can do to a popular anime
Garnt with his Shonen anime answer:
«I absolutely have enemies.»
