This video changed my life! Somehow you just made coming from Cinema to Unreal click for me and now I'm making animations everyday and finally seriously learning the software. Thanks so much!
In the future, with Project Avalanche, the cloners can be done in Unreal (also fairly easy to implement in Niagara). Appreciate the lighting tips, something I need to work on. Cheers.
Why would the animation information (the transformation keyframes created from the mograph effectors I assume) not import over even though the animation box is ticked on import? The animation sequence exists, and the objects are present, but no keyframes and no animation.
For some reason when data smith into unreal i dont get the individual rock meshes. I seem to only get the cloner... all the rocks are there but the individual meshes arent imported like your example? Any insight? thanks!
ahhh I figured it out. if anyone has this issue when you get the check box about importing geometry cache make sure to uncheck both cloner and torus. Everything will import correctly.
