Everything is coming up Jackson. He is the future of this sport and the future is now. Like most I've been following him since his balance bike days. Very stoked to see him having such success at his passion. Also you could feel how nervous, excited Finn was. Super cool. Well done.
Finn illes is such a nice guy. He was gonna give me his redbull visor at the Maribor world cup for the race and he just couldn't because he didn't want to get in trouble. True class act.
I met him at Snowshoe in WV and he really is a really nice guy. Didn't even know it was him, then he took off in front of us and I looked at my friend and said "who is that?" Great rider and an even better human being.
Getting a Red Bull helmet is like becoming a made man. Truly a dream come true, and nice to see two of my favorite riders share such an amazing moment!
imagine someone going down trails like a beast, without shaking or any fear, than seeing him shacking about a helmet, you know what it means to him. keep up this work, you deserve it
2022 is the year Finn, that your domination begins. You have been so close. I'll be cheering from Owen Souns, ON. Jackson will be a dominant force as well.
Really? Some of the secret stuff? I thought the "official" stuff on Trailforks, Meat Sweats, Jersey, Mystery etc. are supposed to be stay. Sucks either way.
@@hobmarg Yup. Meat sweats, Jersey and Morgies are staying. Mystery is going to be a climbing route. The rest including all connectors are going to be nuked, a total of 9 trails. Get it while you can.
@@jameshamilton9643 No idea. But a long time ago it was called 'forks trail' and was a hiking trail to the top of Hollyburn. I doubt its going to follow the entire route but it certainly is going to effect the whole trail itself.
How am I just seeing this now! What a moment. had no idea Finn presented this lid to Jackson.. can not think of a better human being and rider to have done this helmet presentation!
Serious question. I assume Red Bull pays a salary or appearance fees and maybe provides equipment. Does Red Bull provide medical care and health insurance? These athletes in most all of there disciplines are at the pinnacle and with that get seriously injured on occasion. A lot of these folks come from modest families and can’t afford insurance in the United States. I’m 55 and still shredding (and winning) local XC races. Just had a accident a few months ago, grade 3 PCL tear 15 stitches in my face and 10 grand. Ain’t chump change. Anyway….have always been curious about this topic.
I think In Canada the health care is a bit better than some places. But yeah I hope they help out with health insurance and all. Expensive injuries. I hope you recover fast and go back to the trails.
Red Bull specifically takes care of their athletes very well and the athletes are provided with the level of care most other professional athletes would. Other brands and companies don’t all follow this though red bull does from everything I’ve heard from interviews
Been watching Jackson since his first video! Met him at sea otter throws down the biggest whip! World champion rider! And now sponsor for redbull! Looking forward for the nexts few years of racing!
Jackson is the luckiest kid of mtb history in the world. Look, he was born in Canada - capital of mountain biking, he got access to whistler bike park (the best in the world), oportunity to have a bike, parents that support his passion, he started early when he was kid, now he starts in downhill races. This dude has a santa cruz sponsoring (best bike brand in the world) and he got a red bull helmet that means he is now sponsored from red bull
This is so wholesome! The kid has absolutely proven he deserves this 100x over! He's got a massive future ahead of him and I cant wait to see it
"it's a 15% increase in speed when you wear the helmet" LMAOOOOOOOO
LET'S GOOOOOOO!! That was epic! Congrats to Jackson, well deserved. 👏👏
man screamed into the mic at 100% input volume
