I just want my people to know, understand, and accept the fact that NO cream-based product prevents shrinkage. Cream+No Shrink is an oxymoron for natural hair. The best you'll get is temporary stretch (length) from a rod/roller/wave set. Just enough time to get a couple cute selfies in🤦🏾♀️. Then in no time with just body heat alone from your scalp, your hair gone be like "Why you playing wit me? You know i'on do dis😒"

Exactly!! And it's okay 👍🏿 shrinkage means health, I just know wearing a set is key and yes a hair dryer would help the process, lol I wuv her! She's great

I feel the struggle!! My hair is past my shoulders when straightened but my shrinkage says that my hair is gonna stay close to my head for my travel convenience. Well now I feel better knowing that I wasn’t the only one who didn’t have success with this gel. Now it’s just sitting under my sink unused until I run out of my other products.

I went n brought this product today n it smells amazing😍 so amazing but it did shrink my hair. No length to it. I'm 9 months natural so i have a decent fro with the aunt Jackie's don't shrink gel in it makes my hair look like I'm 3 months natural😂

we have the same kinda hair lol. all this stuff that is supposed to make your hair not shrink does nothing but moisturize my head and make it smell good lol.

i can honestly say Aunt Jackies Leave in conditioner (the green one) surprisingly made a difference in shrinkage. try a twist out with that one

Yeah, I've used some of that and it's worked best to put my 4C into bantus or twists. Also, to NOT mix that AJ-No Shrink with Pink Lotion shea formula. The two formulas fight like wet cats in a sack and *curdled* in my freshly washed hair!!!
I was so mad. I was so danged mad about having to take a fine tooth comb to pick out the maggot looking curds of product from my hair!!!
Also, you're braver than me to use those curling things. I tried them once and they nearly ripped my hair out. But as ever, you and Fluff Nugget are gorgeous.
I've never felt comfortable and uncomfortable at the same time, if that makes sense.

I think no shrink means from your natural state or stretch, not after you have manipulated it and want to hold stretched hair in place.
