Very entertaining fight. Walker would not quit and showed a champions will. He displayed the body language of a winner from the first bell on. Pearson has skills but, in contrast to Walker, he didn’t look hungry enough to secure the win.
I'm from dayton, ohio and haven't heard of Chris Pearson even though he lost the fight he's a very good fighter,i wish him well, this was like a fight of the year type of fight,Emmett***
Chris Pearson never recovered from this loss, he was dropped by The Money Team. Floyd wants nothing to do with him. He’s now fighting for peanuts in his home town auditorium😂😂. Google it if you think I’m lying. Dude was a bum to begin with, Floyd was just signing anybody at this time hoping to find gold. Which he eventually did thanks to Adrien Broner, his name is Tank Davis. He got him but he couldn’t keep him. Chris Pearson “Trash” (in my Bubba Dub voice) 😂😂😂
+Randall Hurst his uppercut are very awkward and sneaky and yeah all those names are good fights for him Hugo centeno julian jackson and Charlos bros are also good opponents
That don't mean nothing, a club fight could be more entertaining than a championship fight, at the elite level some fighters ain't gonna be vulnerable to certain punches, they know how to defend themselves and they always gonna cancel each other out, the May/pac fight was to decide who was the best it was only fans who watching boxing for the first time in years expecting toe to toe fight
Pearson said that Walker asked for $100k to take the rematch having made $12k for the first fight.Pearson would have made a bit more, not sure how much. Walker seems to have gone quiet
Eric Walker Jr was not 22 during this fight. They completely messed that up bc they knew nothing about him. And that’s why Chris Pearson slept on him and found out the hard way. “Never underestimate your opponent bc you may not ever come back from it” and where is Chris Pearson now? Hmmm🤷🏾♂️
@@jordanmcmurray847 Walker was 33 during this fight. Ain’t no time to waste when you that age. You take anything offered to you at that age win lose or draw.
Christopher Duffy I did 6 years with him. He is gonna conquer his mission. God gave him the gift of boxing & valrice cooper was the wizard God used to define him.
Someone with a sharp eye will tell you dude in the red is the sharper fighter & he honestly could of easily dominated walker. But he dint do enough. First of all he dint use his jab as he was walking down walker & he should of used it in several ways like using it as a measuring stick to keep at bay & not to smother himself. 2 use it to interrupt his opponents rhythm & make him second guess his next move. He practically just stood there like a punching bag infront of walker & letting him just tagg him at will hoping to catch walker as he opens up. You have to be a smart pressure fighter to do these things . Also your timing have to be sharp. To me dude in the red & white is the way sharper & talented fighter. But these basic things are the fault of both fighter & trainer for not working on these fundamental situations. You can never stay still when your opponent moves. He moves YOU MOVE!! Your movement with his punch will cause to break the force of the puncg & make it less affective. I can go on & on but i just hope this was educational to any young fighter coming up
Sometimes you gotta take risks in order to land a punch. He knew exactly what he had to do in order not to get robbed. Had he played it safe there was no way he would’ve won this fight. Especially being a replacement for Pearsons original opponent. He was brought in to lose, so he just went all out and took chances. What I saw was an excellent strategy, a tough chin and strong will. But hey can’t please everybody.
HELL OF A FIGHT! I COULD WATCH A FIGHT LIKE THIS ALL DAY LONG!
Yes they finally uploaded this fight. Thank you Al Haymon.
Back in 1970's & 80's Eric's family and my family lived next do to each other, he is tough. I am proud of him

+Randall Hurst his uppercut are very awkward and sneaky and yeah all those names are good fights for him Hugo centeno julian jackson and Charlos bros are also good opponents
SMOKINDANK760 I would give him a least 2 more fights before a title shot.
Best fight I ever seen! Fr
That was a great fight! Any idea how much they were payed?? Sucks its way less than the may pac fight, this fight was 100x more entertaining

Great fight
I watched it live and I have watched it 3 more times since PBC uploaded it
+Randall Hurst crazy they say walker is 22 in this fight. he's actually 32
Al Mitchell is a damn good trainer
I'd like to see Walker against Lubin.
That'd be a great bout later on but I think Walker needs a little bit more experience before he does that.

That's my cousin
impressive pbc
Warriors
idc he lost Chris Pearson my Hero
rematch?
You can tell Walker was in prison from his legs.
+Aapeli Hölttä how do you mean?
DaaMagicMan They don't train legs in prison.
+Aapeli Hölttä great observation. Pearsons legs seem to be almost twice as big
+Aapeli Hölttä google prison leg workouts...u'll be shocked
Tee Stripe Stripe Yes I know, Really I meant my comment as a joke.
So! If my math is correct. Walker went to jail at 9 years old?
he's 33. The "tale of the tape" is wrong
Christopher Duffy he went to prison at 15
Christopher Duffy I did 6 years with him. He is gonna conquer his mission. God gave him the gift of boxing & valrice cooper was the wizard God used to define him.
how did he do that time if he's 22?
haha he's 33

Walker got that Walker. That surprised he getting knocked out with all those uppercut because he was leaving his head and Chin out there a whole lot
