New OAD Board Members for 2023-2025

Hello!
My name is Donald Prong, the Executive Director at the Ontario Association of the Deaf (OAD).
I wanted to share some news.
Last Saturday, we had TRI-O Annual General Meeting - OCSD, ODSA and OAD.
It was an all-day meeting.
Only two organizations needed an Election because their board's term was done.
OCSD had their election first, then OAD.
The members voted and decided who our board members would be for the next two years.
We have newly appointed board members.
Travis Morgan, our previous Vice-President, is now our new OAD President.
He finished his previous term and is motivated to continue for another term as President.
Vanessa Floros is our new interim Treasurer.
Two Executive Director positions are not yet filled.
It is still vacant, which is Secretary and Vice-President position.
Also, if someone is interested in the Treasurer position, please get in touch with me.
We also have three new Director-at-Large positions filled.
Marc Noble - He was on the OAD board many years ago, and now he's back again. Congratulation.
BJ Skevington - She finished her previous term and wants to continue another term.
Maryanne Anderson - She finished her previous term and wants to continue another term.
So that is five Board members' positions filled.

Now that the election is done. I want to grab the opportunity to say
Thank you to our previous Board Members who worked hard the past two years.
Veronica Bickle, our previous President, finished her term.
The Vice-President position was Travis Morgan. He is now back as President.
Darren Holst, our previous Treasurer, finished his term. He was on OAD Board for many years.
Thank you for your time and contribution to OAD.
Carlisle Robinson, our previous Secretary, finished their term.
Thank you for your contribution as well.
Also, most of our Director-at-Large is continuing their term except for
Andrea Zackary - She finished her term. Thank you for your contribution to OAD.
