Love this Sam, I'm amazed at how simple it is to make. I was expecting it to be a lot more complicated. Thank you so much for sharing your cards and talent. I'm definitely going to make this one, but I'm going to use a thin fishing line instead 😊
Love, love, love!! I've only just discovered this video and hotfooted it to my craft table to make one for a friend's birthday. I used fine fishing line (super strong and all but invisible) which I have for beading. Can't wait to see her face when the card comes out spinning!
Im going to try and make xmas card. Bought some paper with mugs with hot cocoa on and another paper matching that. I didn't know how to use the mugs to cut out just the ^normal^ way. Cut out and elevate on the designpaper... So it will be awsome to use for a spinnercard with an uneven picture on. And to be able to choose between all shapes of the cut on the card, square circle rectangle oval star or whatever. Great design!!! Hope I'll can finnish it as I fantasise it would look like hehe. Sorry for my crappy english but im Swedish and english isn't my native language but I hope you can understand anyways... Thanks for the inspiration and virtual hugs from Sweden 🇸🇪 ❤
Terrific spinner cards. I have made some spinner cards of a different design and use lightweight fishing line. It’s very strong and is great for spinner cards. Thanks for the inspiring tutorial Sam.
Great cards; you have such wonderful ideas. The paper is fabulous. The thread may be upholstery thread but no matter it’s strong and wonderful. Enjoy your weekend
i love these and i just remembered tht i have this exact same pack of toppers and papers in to diffrent sets so now i am on the hunt in my craft room lol-i will make some of these (it will be my first everr spinner cards),i think my brothers two little girls will love them-so i have to send them one each :) and mom of course hehe.. just need to find them.. that is going to be a tough search.. both are unuses because i put them away waiting for the perfect project lol (i feel so stupid) i even had to order them from usa or uk since they did not exist here in norway..sigh.. Bless you
Fabulous! Can't wait to have a go. I have some of the exact same thread that used to belong to my Mom, I knew it would come in useful someday! Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
Such pretty cards, thanks for making them using different shapes, i will try this. Thanks Sam for all the unique items youve shared and taught us how to make
Thanks so much , your instructions are really easy to follow . Love the paper , is it at all available in Canada ???? Sharon Moreau from Montreal Quebec Canada
Sam, these are amazing, and we can ACTUALLY get these paper where I live in Australia!!! Yaaaay. I did try these and they looked exactly like yours, but, alas, they just wouldn't spin. I tried everything. I do think it matters what sort of twine, or string you use. Is yours super thin? Ive tried 2 now and now of them will spin! Aaaargh xxx
Is your string a thread with many strands? You need something that's solid so it won't unravel, fishing line, jewellery cord and even dental floss, I've been told work. Also its key that its nice a taught! Hope that helps a little 😀
Ummmm, did you line them up perfectly? If so try lying your string a little higher so there is more card towards the bottom, making your spinning bit bottom heavy. Hope that makes sense 😀
If you need a very strong thread, use dental floss! I fasten all my buttons on clothes with dental floss and they never will come off again. Just a tip from Germany to the Rest of the crafting world
Thank you for sharing x
Absolutely loving these can't wait to have a go at making these cards xx

Hi, no they don't, try looking on eBay.

Ummmm, did you line them up perfectly? If so try lying your string a little higher so there is more card towards the bottom, making your spinning bit bottom heavy. Hope that makes sense 😀
I like this l love the animals but can not get them
This tutorial is over 2 years old now. Try looking on eBay.
It looks like a tailors tacking thread
