- We make pan-fried dumpling almost every week. Yes we all love it. However this is our first time to use fennel in the fillings. In case kids don't like fennel's flavor, I also make radish fillings. Surprisingly, nobody noticed the flavor difference...

Isn't that dill? Fennel fronds are not used for dumpling filling.
That's a great way to make dumpling skin. Just use squares instead of cutting circles and having excess go to waste. Thanks for sharing!!!
Actually in some areas of China Fennel is a common dumpling filling. My mom made this when I was a kid.
It looks more like dill that you used--小茴香 in Chinese? If so, why don't we call these dill dumplings?
