I really hope prime does get the alt mode the $10 figure has. It looks really cool and it would be neat to see optimus with a more heavy duty alt mode then just normal truck
Ive only heard good things about this smaller Voyager Optimus. Only prominent complaint Ive seen is the lack of paint, but it has inspired so many to customize it.
10$ Optimus is strangely based on concept art for ROtB before they decided on the more G1 looking truck. Other toys (like Smash Changer Optimus Prime) were released with this design.
At 4:04 somewhere on the back, there’s a hollow section to push his head up. I have that same toy. Also, this was a scrapped version of Optimus for this movie.
I would imagine the small optimus vehicle design seems like it would be the cybertron vehicle mode, like if we would have seen him transform in beginning of bumblebee, before earth vehicles influenced look

i got the one that had the wolf companion and i love how fun it is even though i wish it had more paint, and an ab crunch, along with his head able to move up, overall it’s decent but it’s so fun to play around with, another complaint is that it’s so hollow, and they have something stored under the feet which you flip out to make them stand up correctly, which makes no sense because you flip it back in, it should stand correctly still, but the made it so that the flipped thing IS LARGER THAN THE FOOtT ITSELF

I’ve grown to hate the battle chargers and other cheap ROTB toys because they are all I can find while I can never find any of the Voyager or deluxe figures in stores.
The fact that ROTB Prime is 35 dollars in the US makes me mad. The toy stores in my country are fucking thieves and made it $50 converted from my currency to usd.

Funny how Last Knights Prime had an orange sword when his sword is silver, but this prime has a silver sword that's supposed to be orange.

The problem isn't even the lack of paint (it has tons of it) but the grey plastic. If they replaced it with gunmetal it would look perfect
I custom painted that little Bumblebee, he looks great with a detailed paint job.

the smaller optimus looks alot like his tfp beast hunters version, mainly in the truck mode

The Battle Changers Mirage is way better than you’d expect. Both modes are extremely solid and he’s super fun to mess around with.
