LIST OF TERMS I USE IN THIS VIDEO AND WHAT THEY MEAN (if you're new to Transformers):
STUDIO SERIES figures:
Hasbro’s toy line created to make the “best” versions of every transformer that’s been in a movie. This includes toys based on characters from any of the 8 Transformers films from the last 35 years. While anyone can enjoy the Studio Series line, they’re largely aimed at the adult collector audience due to their movie accuracy and slightly higher price.
MAINLINE figures:
toys specifically released and marketed from the new Rise of The Beasts movie. These are the toys that have green jungle themed boxes with the “Transformers: Rise of The Beasts” logo on it.
SIZE CLASSES:
size classes refer to what price and size the figure is. The size classes for Transformers are (generally, from smallest to largest): core class ($10), deluxe class ($25), voyager class ($35), leader class ($55). When I refer to a figure as a “deluxe class”, that means he’s a ~$25 figure and usually around 5-6 inches tall”. Mainline figures (toys from the new movie line of branding) usually don’t adhere to this size class system. For example: the transforming masks, flex changers, smash changers, etc.
So basically I’ve split the video up by the mainline toys for part 1, then the adult collectibles (mainly Studio Series) in part 2.
There are plenty of other terms you may not be familiar with, but the ones I’ve explained are generally what you want to know for this video specifically.

The waist on Battletrap is a widespread issue. There’s two locking nubs in there for truck mode and robot mode but the stupid design oversight is that it pushes the waist out when rotated. If you’re that bothered like I was, just take the nubs off with sandpaper or a knife. I also agree with your opinions on Scourge and I sincerely hope they do a 2.0 of him, the current figure just doesn’t do the character justice at all.
Good tip, thanks! Yeah, annoying how the smallest little plastic print error on those mushroom pegs will pop them out of place when rotated. It’s a thing Hasbro’s been getting worse with, I hope they fix it.

Having watched many Transformers guys videos these days as new movie just came out. For me this is the best ROTB toys video 😃 some of the toys I’ve never seen

I cant believe they left Rattrap out of the movie. He would of been a comical character taking all the lime light. His figure would of been an awesome review by this channel

Now I’m embarrased because I thought scourge was the best ss figure I’ve gotten or reviewed. 100 bee was definitely a great figure Lol. Battletrap on the other hand was my low point of the group. Definitely like it but it had QC issues like yours and I have thought the transformation was a migraine. But this is a fantastic video man. I will be returning!!!!

@@papermelon when I ordered scourge I thought I was going to hate it and return it but I absolutely love the figure but I do think we should get i second attempt at rotb scourge because the figure is based off concept art and he needs a face mask feature like the falllen

This is definitely one of my favourite transformers videos ever! I never watched beast wars but I always thought that the designs and animations were crap, and the transformations looked painful, but this movie improves my thoughts on these characters and I am loving everyone from the designs, ti animations, voices, transformations, EVERYTHING
LIttle tip for Battletrap, his cab does tab in, you just have to kind of push his elbows in while in truck mode.

I go to my local toys shop from time to time to check what are the new transformers toys, and I can say that I really miss the old toys that used to buy when I was a kid and how good the complexity of transformations were and I’m really disappointed with the newer toys. They look stupid now with little to no details

The only bad thing about the battle trap figure is the transformation! He looks amazing and the articulation is still better than a lot of other figure at the very least a 7.5

Over at my local Meijer last Saturday I saw Studio series Optimus primal and the box looked amazing but I couldn't see inside of it so I can't tell if it's a good figure
Awesome video! Do you know if the mainline Optimus Prime is cheaper than the Studio Series one? Cause they're both voyagers but the SS has waaaaayy better engineering and paint so...?
Technically the mainline is cheaper if you can find him at retail price. The mainline version is meant to be a cheaper, less accurate and kid focused version of the character. The SS one is about $5 more and WAY better in every way (including size, he’s also a full inch taller). So I’d recommend waiting until he comes out later this summer.

I might be wrong in my opinion but the Rotb mainline voyagers are (probably) the best we’ve seen of transformers figures since dark of the moon. They are quite high quality for mainline figures. On par with studio figures (kind of). They are also pretty movie accurate. Optimus primal in particular has his faceplate (like the film), but the higher quality figures have the beast wars style mouth. Some of them using older molds is … interesting, not bad at all. Also that joke of “what you were expecting a truck” is funny to me and will always be silly. I have to say (even if it’s bad) that the voice actor voicing the remote controlled Optimus primal, sounds somewhat like Garry chalk (beast wars Optimus primal). Ya gorilla 🦍.

Should I get mainline, studio series or deluxe. I want to know to get the best auto bot crew. Such as Optimus, wheel-jack, mirage, rc, bumblebee, drift, hot-rod (last knight), ratchet, iron hide, and hound
the studio serie and delux class can be for kids u can collect kids can play with whatever they want exept dangerous things
I think you forgot to mention Optimus Primal is a remold of the Kingdom Optimus Primal mold.

Is it just me or can i not find the mainline figures anywhere? (i've only been able to find the 3 pack of Cheetor, Wheeljack and Nightbird along with Voyager Rhinox. Are they just selling out or am i missing something?
From what I've heard, Hasbro's done a bad job distributing them, and several of them are yet to be released. Kinda sucks.

I don't really care how accurate it is to the concept art though, it's from Studio Series and I want it to be accurate to the movie lol. Either way, his movie design is far cooler and beefier to me. Wish they could've made some fixes
