I wish they still made clothes in those styles and that quality.
THAT PART!!! But also, I especially loved the clothes from the 70s-90s, and I wish clothes like "back in the day" were still produced.
Back in the day clothes were union made here by union workers. They even had a PSA to look for the union label jingle-it was important and gave a sense of pride. that is until those factories were shipped overseas, including those union jobs.
Amazon has cute vintage dresses. I looked randomly about a week ago.
@@j-styles3655 Awesome. Thank you! I’ll look it up. I owe myself a reward for sticking to the keto protocols…💜💙
Ahhh I have many such dress with me! Bought it from Amazon and SheIn!! It's a trend now
This style really suits you! It suits alot of people and it really sucks that todays fashion doesn't have that golden touch like vintage fashion does
It stinks that today's clothes aren't made to last.
Do you want everything to stay the same forever?
@@z...03 no but it doesn't hurt to make better quality clothing that lasts. If you don't want it you can sell it or donate it.
@@truthhearit1471 I'm pretty sure OP is talking about how the clothes LOOK, not how sturdy and long lasting it is. It's pretty stupid to say "clothes these days yada yada yada waah waah waah" when fashion literally evolves and changes over time. You can't be salty because people aren't dressing like it's the 1920s.
@@z...03 i was talking about the situation with fast fashion. Clothes were just built better in the days prior to when fast fashion came about. Clothes could be handed down for a few children to wear.
Beautiful dress! You look amazing
Girl you got the body for that era. It looks so good on you. The hair gorgeous. You would look great in any era
Where she stood @ the end seems like a vintage photo‼️🫶🏾🫶🏾

@@soy_0scar7why do you feel she needs to be protected and from whom does she need God’s Protection? I wish I had the means to dress like she does. She is raising her family, her way. She likes vintage clothing and a way simpler way of life. More power to her.
She looks like a black Barbie doll!!! She’s gorgeous!!!!
I admire your confidence to wear a older style of dress. People would think I’m so weird or really hate on the old clothes style
Amethyst I had a friend in High School who dressed like she was straight outta the 60s, only person I met like that and thought it was cool. Dunno if she got shit for it though
why do you care what other people think 🤔. Be Yourself.
That old saying, _"they're just jealous"..._ it's true. People admire (or envy) confidence in others. Life goes quickly. Do what you love.
@@AnoraJohnson AMEN ❤️😘
I mean, might have something to do with it not being great for minorities during the 20's....

Vintage style clothes just bring another type of joy to the world
I have never seen a vintage clothing/sewing page with a POC doing it. LOVE THIS!
Due to our history ya know
But many of us adore flappers and the roaring 20s and just about everything else we were deprived of.
The Great Gatsby was a good book. I’m sure that era was fun for the privileged ✨
POC? Ohh, you mean a Person Of Class, I understand..

there's actually more: vickymousehouse (latina), jbunzie (latina, not strictly vintage, tho, but it is a part of her topics), davetheenthusiast (black x white), life on mars (black woman in her fifties or so) and two japanese guys who dress like they're from the 1930s
Back in that time, everybody looked so elegant. ❤️
I so miss it too! I say bring back classiness and elegance. I hope this will start trending as well.
Lovely. Simple but tremendously elegant. ❤
Girl we need more people like you those clothes are so FREAKIN' CUTE!
Your beautiful and I love the dress
Freakin scary
I don't think we "need" more people like her. It's her preference in style and it's cool but don't make it a necessity LMAO
I agree
I love it! The woman in the 50 & 60 were sharp! They knew how to dress
Why do i have a feeling you're in the same age group 😂
You mean 40's or 50's
Tell me you’re a dried up ‘awl prune without telling me that you’re a dried up ‘awl prune.
In the 70 too, my mom used Drew’s me like that . I was 8 year then she die and no body care
nothing makes me happier than people dressing in period-specific clothing. i admire the care and research that goes into curating the perfect wardrobe
What does she need a girdle for, she's a size 2
Saw 15 young ppl in vintage recently, part of a challenge..very cool🙂
@@lzelonamurphy It's a part of older time period dressing to wear shape wear under most things; even If you're already slim.
LOVELY, Just like my Late Mom.😊😊😊
You are a true fashion icon!! Vintage never goes out of style!
She's over here living her best life and I am here for it
That yellow dress looks amazing on her. Love it!
The nightgown looks so comfortable and pretty. ❤
It’s not a night gown, it’s full slip dress that you wear underneath your clothes from revealing your nakedness underneath.😅
I'm 30, but this gave me a sense of nostalgia. It was like looking back at photos of my grandmother and my uncle when he was a baby.
This is unbelievable! Such a flawless look. I love that you are bringing back the vintage vibes!
The main reason why vintage clothes look lovely on you is that you have the perfect figure. And you carry yourself with grace and elegance.
They used a great deal of support wear.
She looks Absolutely Amazing in that “Lemon Yellow”. :::
Literally the most beautiful woman in such a cool outfit.
Beautiful and elegant. I wish we all dressed with such style. I think it would go a long way to cheering us up and making us feel more positive.
i dont think everyone will like one fashion style lol
We did, like 60 years ago lol
Although I agree this is beautiful I think it’s even more beautiful we all have individual styles
She looks so pretty. I love the charm and femininity of those old days. I'm proud of her for being herself, it's inspiring.
No one gonna say how she would be perfect for a live action princess and the frog movie?
I have a friend who's mom dressed similarly, her hair was always styled in a way I just know took hours but I'm sure she's mastered it. Had a conversation with that friend just end of last year after a long time only to find out his mom sadly passed away, always admired that graceful woman.
you're just meant to be wearing vintage honestly, you look so incredible
girl ur literally a disney princess like ong
Its so similar the yellow tiana outit
OMG YEA the cafe dress😩
@@ShaSha-lex frr that was my first thought

It's beautiful my mother dressed liked that when i was a kid The looks of the 50th 's was considered classy.
Only we can go back to the 50th's now that's my that's how we need to be leaving it's like how people did back in the thirties and forties and fifties
Absolutely stunning. The style needs to come back and the gentle spirit of people as well.
I love it! It’s modest, feminine, very pretty and enhances your beauty! I wish women still dressed like that. Class and self respect. Nothing is more beautiful than that!
Literally Princess Tiana after the movie. Why are you so beautiful omg
OMG I THOUGHT THE SAME THING
she looks nothing like her you’re just saying that because she’s black lmao
That's amazing, your style is so pretty. Like the 1960s
Most of us no longer have the figure to go with the vintage clothing 😅🤣😂
@@believeinjesus8862 Huh? You know people of all figures existed back then, right?
@@genera1013 I believe our god changed and so did our appearance. People used to be smaller.
More like 1950s
@@believeinjesus8862 You can find plus size vintage clothes, it's just harder. A lot of old clothes in the '50 were turned into rags or things for other people, but some plus size clothes survived the time.

You look fabulous! That daffodil yellow is perfect to get everyone thinking about spring.
Love this. People having a passion for themselves and doing what they wanna do
You look absolutely stunning in yellow! Not a color that many can wear very well, but it absolutely suits you perfectly. Just gorgeous.
Yellow in more than one shade anybody can wear yellow.. it's how they wear it .
Nope. I've tried every yellow under the sun and I've always managed to look sick. BUT, I plant yellow flowers in my yard and otherwise enjoy the color.
Warm yellows for warm toned skin, cool toned yellows for cool types.
