The trap aspect of vertical spleef was a surprising highlight of this map. I really liked that you could cut out pieces that didn't fall until you drove on them.
I’m thinking what happened is that somehow a frame of facecam from the editing phase somehow made it into the final video, and for some reason he had his desk lamp off
It would be neat to see an arena like this where it's deliberately designed so some people start on opposite sides of the wall from each other (like what you spoke about briefly at 7:25). Could work as either a 2v2 or free for all.
I don't remember having this much fun watching a UA-cam video for so long, Scrapman! You should definitely do more vertical spleef with the whole crew. This was so good!
OH, that ending gave me an idea: Have vehicles with boosters to turn in all axes, explosives on the back and spud guns on the front. Everything on a glass sheet at start including the respawner. At start an autospudgun shoots out the start and respawner and then the whole challenge is freefall. Shoot the other guys out to win!
@@shadowy_dog8953 theres a way (possibly) with the tile builder to make an empty tile so when they hit the map bottom they restart at the top again and keep falling, etc, etc.
When you made the indestructible pieces to make it harder to cut things out, you also made it so much harder to tell when a disconnected piece was safe or not. Perfect
Scrapman, you definitely need to do another vertical match with two people on each side of the wall, so you can’t see them. Can even have it be a team match, where the people on one side are working together to knock the people on the other side off.
You could add pistons constantly pushing up and down behind the wall to push the lose parts out so they could fall on your, The lag would be tremendous, the content would be stupendous
Do a dog fight where you have to build a plane but spin a wheel for each person to decide which plane that person will participate with for the round then respin the wheel for the next round
this would be a interesting idea for 2v2, 2 on each side working together trying to take the other team out. with some work, a variation of this could also work as a game of Battleship.
I personally love your vids, you got me into Trailmakers! I had a game idea for you when you build cars and race them, but every so often they jump. You could make this with piston timers.
Trail makers space idea: all players create a drop ship that can fly and will have to carry a rover that can wallride, this is much easier to do, you can then do a race or destruction derby on different places such as the asteroid film or the destroyed ship, I did this myself and it was great fun!
If you do this again, make a whole cube with the transitions between sides the same as how you transfered between the top and the wall here. And put the cube on a very gentle angle that slowly rotates, so the face that is slightly up changes every so often.
well this certainly took some unexpected turns! what about spleef+ where you get 2 sets of spudguns on each side to destroy more at once. That would make things even more interesting and possibly chaotic. Likely faster rounds too. I don't know if this would be possible, but what if the whole arena spun while on the wall.

idea: Make parts of the vertical arena be hung on single bearings accross the map, smoe parts could flip you either side verticly and horizontaly. hints would be around the bearings to be cut out (free bearings)

The players would pop back up, but I believe any creations would despawn instead of teleporting.
