How's that for an exercise? lol. If you've watched this you can never say you've hit a roadblock with flatpicking lol. Until you can duplicate this exactly it'll always be here to remind you there are levels to this thing lol
If you play you'll notice how Bryan's expressions and body language displays the greatest gift these monsters have, that they never rush. You can clearly tell he's nowhere near the speed that would start to give trouble as insane as that is, and he's basically just walking through a comfortable pocket lol. The mental training it takes to get to this level is as impressive as the technical stuff.
@@K131399 My brother is a superb guitar player and I grew up watching how he developed over the years, he would almost go into a trance like state when playing, I got none of the talent, it all went his way but you are spot on with your comment, knowing where you are going with the music, visualising, is a massive part of getting it to look so (easy) wrong word, very slick is maybe better.
@@K131399 Mostly Blues and some lead work, but he can do it all really, not so much Bluegrass but he is very capable of doing that. Picks a Banjo and a Mandolin as well as a bass, anything with a string to be truthful.
@@oldjoeclarke. Cool, I was a teen through the 80's and played the heavy metal stuff but around 86 I heard SRV and basically checked out for about 15-20 years and learned everything he did and through him got into all his influences. My parents are East Coasters and I grew up around people playing all the Doc Watson stuff so Bryan and Billy Strings are like listening to the campfire stuff I grew up on. Of course they do it a little better than my uncles did lol
First time i ever heard this played without a fiddle. Brilliant.
Absolut AWESOME Playing , Bryan Sutton...Damm Great Guitar
Great chemistry
Poised, with guitar, ready to learn a new tune. "Ready?" says Brian. "yup" I think...err nope. Holy smokes.
Yeee--aaah!
Oh, I do that all the time! : )
Auctioneers could put words to Bryan's notes and become the coolest damn auctioneer that has ever been lol

The one down vote is probably from Tim O'Brien because he spotted a wrong not somewhere. 🤣
