Tim has one of the greatest singing voices ever to grace the stage. He plays so many instruments and writes great songs as well and we are so lucky to have him around. As he has aged, his voice has developed a rich timbre.
Love this song. Love Tim and Nick playing together and singing in harmony. Loved when New Grass Revival used to play this song too. Thank you Tim for the great song writing and playing!
Joking aside, man what talent. I remember seeing "Tim Obrien and the O-boys" do this song on CMT back in the 90's. "Texas Connection" program? Always loved this song and have become a big Hot Rize fan of late. The musicianship of Tim Obrien, and all the players in that band is just fantastic !
Great tune, but like in so many instances the acoustic bass needs better strength. This is a common thing I hear in many acoustic numbers. If you don't use an electric bass, give it a better mic and a little more gain.

Great job by Tim. Who's that singing harmony?
Nick Forster, who plays bass in Hot Rize and Wendell Mercantle in Red Knuckles and the Trailblazers.
