- Felt creative...was watching Star Wars...thought the lightsaber fighting looked cool...had a few days off school...go figure.

At 2:15 it's like millions of jedies are fighting with a bunch of enemy robots cool I saw that part.
My theory is they are telling this to audiences 25,000 years in the future, who are transmitting it back to the past.
Obi-Wan was more skilled, and had previously encountered Greivous and Dooku, which allowed him to have a better understanding of Greivous' fighting style. This meant he was able to counter Greivous' attacks more easily than other Jedi. It is also highly possible that Qui-Gon was taught the old style of lightsaber combat by Dooku while he (Dooku) was a jedi, and in turn taught a bit of the old style to Obi-wan along with the new style. However, such training may have been outlawed by Yoda.

One of the first videos I ever saw on UA-cam and I still love it :)
It's kind of like a black belt of a modern martial art, say, Modern Judo, also having learned a small amount of Pre-WWII Judo (The real style, not the crappy olympic sport mentioned above,), and having a sworn rival who is, say, a gold belt in the old, Pre-WWII style, who have had several fights. The Black Belt (Obi-Wan) had several fights with the Gold Belt (Dooku), and the gold belt has a student (Greivous) who the black belt had several fights with also. O.-W. Knows G.'s way of fighting.
