Hey Becky. I am a teacher and I know every school district in America is desperate for bus drivers. My district will pay for training and pays between $20-$30 an hour and a signing bonus. School districts usually provide excellent healthcare insurance. You may even be able to get into a state pension retirement system. You can pick up extra shifts driving after school sports or field trips during the school day. I am confident the kids would think you are the coolest bus driver!
Great suggestion. There is always a need for bus drivers for Special Ed kids. Becky would be great with kids who are normally seen as nothing or worthy as others.

my mom is one and she always compares herself to the pain and trauma that she caused me, she said ‘well I had worse his childhood and my trauma was way worse than yours’. but I told her that my trauma isn’t any less than yours. The only real mistake here was assuming anyone was going to do their job correctly, and not calling preemptively. Becky, I don't know if you read the comments, but if you do I want you to heed my words. I've been through emotional abuse as well. It takes YEARS to recover from. Do not expect to get back to your old self immediately. Your recovery is going to take time. The longer you were in that situation the longer the healing process will take. Have patience with yourself. You're busy right now, and that might actually be helfpul for you, because it helps you to more slowly process your emotions. But I don't want you thinking you're failing at getting better just because you're still not doing well. You've actually come a very long way. You got out. Not everyone has the strength to do that. I'm proud of you. I believe in you. The human spirit is more resilient than you know. You just have to give it time to recover. The best thing to do is to focus on the next thing on your to-do list to get you through. Eventually you'll be able to broaden your focus, but in times of crisis your focus does have to narrow. And that is okay. It's okay to take life one breath at a time when you have to. Take care of yourself in whatever way you can. You're a genuinely good soul, and this world is a brighter place with you in it.

As a person with anxiety disorder, one of the things that helped me a lot was to accept the things I can't do. I can't save the world but I can go for a walk and get some vitamin D, I can't fix injustice but I can listen to a friend who's hurting, etc. Don't worry about us or the world, you need yourself first. Live in a way that you would like to see the ones you love live like. Rest, eat well, meditate, breathe...doing good for you will do good for others. Take care, I'll pray for you. i struggle with an anxiety/depression combo and i can say this absolutely helps a TON but its hard and feels stupid and insignificant at first and i know nobody struggling will believe this (bc i didnt back when my therapist recommended it!) but it does slowly over time really really really help in so many different ways. great advice!!
Having to suddenly stop taking sertraline is ROUGH. I had terrible brain zapping and suicidal thoughts when my prescription ran out. The withdrawl makes your anxiety 10x worse. After a few months I was back to 'normal' anxiety levels (for me). Stay strong. Its hard to believe but things will get easier! 💖💖💖
It sure is. I was on antidepressants for many years, and there were times when I ran out or skipped days because I was broke. I'm a recovering addict and would honestly rather go off heroin cold turkey again than antidepressants. The brain zaps are just the worst. I quit taking them altogether because I never want to feel that feeling again. And they weren't helping anyway.

Yeah the world's gone crazy, and life can be a big ol bitch sometimes, but know that the world is a little bit better with you in it. I went years without health insurance while needing medications for my depression, anxiety, and OCD. There are programs that help people with prescription costs. Also there's a pharmacy chain called Neighborhood Pharmacy that has a discount program for people without insurance. Listen, you're an amazing person, everyone has witnessed that and you're in my prayers, regardless of whatever personal beliefs are, a little prayer can't hurt. A lot of people you don't even know care about you and are rooting for you! Take care of yourself! Sending love and good vibes your way!!!!

I'm in Wales and forever greatful that I was born here. My most recent baby was born at 28 weeks weighing 1lb 5oz and spent 4 months in nicu and over a year on home oxygen and I didn't have a single bill. How America can call itself one of the most developed countries in the world yet have such appalling health care access is beyond me

I feel like this is the most relatable video I’ve seen on UA-cam. I’m in the same position as Becky and the fact that she is able to get out of bed and work everyday is like a miracle to me. Because I personally am unable to. I can’t hold down a job due to my debilitating, utterly paralyzing depression. Hey Becky. I am a teacher and I know every school district in America is desperate for bus drivers. My district will pay for training and pays between $20-$30 an hour and a signing bonus. School districts usually provide excellent healthcare insurance. You may even be able to get into a state pension retirement system.
You can pick up extra shifts driving after school sports or field trips during the school day. I am confident the kids would think you are the coolest bus driver!

Becky, I don't know if you read the comments, but if you do I want you to heed my words. I've been through emotional abuse as well. It takes YEARS to recover from. Do not expect to get back to your old self immediately. Your recovery is going to take time. The longer you were in that situation the longer the healing process will take. Have patience with yourself. You're busy right now, and that might actually be helfpul for you, because it helps you to more slowly process your emotions. But I don't want you thinking you're failing at getting better just because you're still not doing well. You've actually come a very long way. You got out. Not everyone has the strength to do that. I'm proud of you. I believe in you. The human spirit is more resilient than you know. You just have to give it time to recover.
The best thing to do is to focus on the next thing on your to-do list to get you through. Eventually you'll be able to broaden your focus, but in times of crisis your focus does have to narrow. And that is okay. It's okay to take life one breath at a time when you have to. Take care of yourself in whatever way you can. You're a genuinely good soul, and this world is a brighter place with you in it.

As a person with anxiety disorder, one of the things that helped me a lot was to accept the things I can't do. I can't save the world but I can go for a walk and get some vitamin D, I can't fix injustice but I can listen to a friend who's hurting, etc. Don't worry about us or the world, you need yourself first. Live in a way that you would like to see the ones you love live like. Rest, eat well, meditate, breathe...doing good for you will do good for others. Take care, I'll pray for you. i struggle with an anxiety/depression combo and i can say this absolutely helps a TON but its hard and feels stupid and insignificant at first and i know nobody struggling will believe this (bc i didnt back when my therapist recommended it!) but it does slowly over time really really really help in so many different ways. great advice!!

Having to suddenly stop taking sertraline is ROUGH. I had terrible brain zapping and suicidal thoughts when my prescription ran out. The withdrawl makes your anxiety 10x worse. After a few months I was back to 'normal' anxiety levels (for me). Stay strong. Its hard to believe but things will get easier! 💖💖💖
It sure is. I was on antidepressants for many years, and there were times when I ran out or skipped days because I was broke. I'm a recovering addict and would honestly rather go off heroin cold turkey again than antidepressants. The brain zaps are just the worst. I went years without health insurance while needing medications for my depression, anxiety, and OCD. There are programs that help people with prescription costs. Also there's a pharmacy chain called Neighborhood Pharmacy that has a discount program for people without insurance. Listen, you're an amazing person, everyone has witnessed that and you're in my prayers, regardless of whatever personal beliefs are, a little prayer can't hurt. A lot of people you don't even know care about you and are rooting for you! Take care of yourself! Sending love and good vibes your way!!!!

I was depressed for 15 years of my life, I didn’t know life without depression, eating disorders, anxiety and one day Jesus Christ healed me. Since May it’s gone!! I’ve been dealing with postpartum depression and hearing you say “I’m trying I’m trying” and then talking about how existing is scary but you have to keep going made me tear up! I’ll never get over the health care system in America as a registered psychiatric nurse myself. Reminds me of how lucky we are to have an NHS here in Scotland. I'm in Wales and forever greatful that I was born here. My most recent baby was born at 28 weeks weighing 1lb 5oz and spent 4 months in nicu and over a year on home oxygen and I didn't have a single bill.

Becky, I NEED you to know this. You’re an amazing human being. You are SO strong for going through everything you have been through in your life. Please don’t ever feel obligated to come into the social media world to explain yourself. As someone who has also been in a psych ward, your mental health needs to always come first. Struggling daily with depression and anxiety or any other diagnosis is incredibly hard and you’re doing a great job. And when it comes to dating, there’s absolutely no need to put yourself out there if you don’t feel comfortable with it!! Loving yourself is far more important than having someone else love you. I feel like this is the most relatable video I’ve seen on UA-cam. I’m in the same position as Becky and the fact that she is able to get out of bed and work everyday is like a miracle to me. Because I personally am unable to. I can’t hold down a job due to my debilitating, utterly paralyzing depression. I can’t foster any friendships never mind relationships…like just being with yourself is hard enough you know? I have health issues as well but I know a thyroid can cause a multitude of issues…god I feel for Becky. ❤

You know what’s crazy is I do know that it is soothing to do those types of things…like I’ve never gone on a hike and regretted it…but it’s getting myself there..idk. There are so many things I want to do but I’ve just become a recluse and have completely cut myself off from the world. But I will take your advice, there is a place I’ve wanted to go before summer ends…it’s a firefly/lightning bug sanctuary!

It’s a 1 in 400 trillion chance we are born, and all of us have so much power than the world let’s us believe. My dad always told me (take your next breath) such a simple fraise, but something I often think about and what exactly he meant by it. You will make it out of this.
@@skp6613 I literally have to be mean to myself and say "Listen here, just get off your ass and do it." I don't always listen to myself, but omg, on the days I do... It really is a reset and something I regret not doing more always. I have actually been forcing myself more lately with the summer leaving and the more you force it, the less you have to. I had a family member go to jail for a very similar issue (cop told them they were fine and don’t worry about it) and ended up getting pulled over and arrested on their way home from work one day.
I saw someone else mention you doing a livestream, either talking with us (not pressuring you to talk about your ex) or even playing a video game or something, I know I would love to support you with a super chat or two, and I know a lot of other people would be too.

I don't usually pray as I am agnostic but I pray for your recovery- mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. I have lived at rock bottom; where it feels like you're stuck in the undertow and waves upon waves are beating you back down, but I promise one day the waters will still and you will rise.
There's nowhere to go but up. And I genuinely pray for that day for you to see the sun again.

The kinda beck community is such a wonderful place to be. I do want to say that I know exactly what you mean about the rose colored glasses thing and being so overwhelmed with information. I went through the same thing about three years ago. You feel out of control and overwhelmingly defeated. We are all here cheering you on, hoping and praying for the best for you!
