I know I am years late but thank you. It was to the point and funny. We installed one on my son's 2013 Optima SX (2.0 Turbo). Bought the exact same catch can that is on the video (garden hoses and all) on eBay for a fraction of the price. ADD W1 already took me to the bank on the one for my wife's 2016 Infiniti Q50.
I think you have the hoses around the wrong way. The inlet is supposed to go to the valve cover and the outlet is supposed to go back to the air intake. Otherwise clean install looks good
helpppppp i hooked mine up on my sonata exactly the same go for a ride i got no turbo and threw a code for alternator...disconnected the battery and can put it back now im fine what happened?
jay drums oil comes out of the pcv. that can catches it so it don't get into the motor. it leads to higher carbon build up on the valve witch is bad. its not so bad on multi-port injection but direct injection engines are known for it it's even worse on turbo direct injection engines
wow loox professional but wayyy too much work, I'll just tie with ziptie real fast tho. Im not a fabricator like this guy. great instructional vid tho!

Why
Thank you guys! Bought the same catch can about a month ago, will be using your mounting points and routing tomorrow on my 13 SXL. Again, thanks!!!
Nice job. Looks like a factory install. Thanks for the Video, just ordered and will use yours as a guide

read above if i did the same would that happen?
Was about to say the same thing, the hoses are around the wrong way. Loved the bracket tho - looks like it was there from factory!
Thanks for the great video! I'm gonna mount it in the same place!
pcv hose to inlet
outlet hose to manifold
great job
@ 11:30 once you put it in the 1st time, the 2nd time its alot easier :D
Replace those shitty clamps with fuel injection clamps. Make sure to purchase the correct size for worry free connection. Nice clean job.
Thank you sir!!
hoses are wrong in this video found out my air breather was where I was losing boost took off breather covered with bolt now fine
At 12:30, what is that SILVER thing connected to the hose??
abukid that's the blow off valve

He said " just pulled the hose off the intake" Thats the valve cover and not the intake... Intake from the PCV but not the intake manifold.
What is it for ?
