I’m sorry, but scorch for me best works with tempered plating, I mean cmon. Being able to run through your own flames. Activate that flamecore, use shield, launch two thermite balls. Then dash backwards, shield/reload. Throw traps then ignite. Rinse and repeat. Great video, all the info I need tbh. I need to start using other titans lol
I use Arc rounds, maelstrom, and superior chassis in PVP. For PVE I use Missile racks, rearm and reload, and multi-target missiles because it's super fun
I used to use arc rounds in pve, but I decided to use monarch to give friendly titans health. It works best if you use rearm and reload on tanks and the good players.
There are two loadout strategies with titans as far as I'm concerned. 1) Equip perks/abilities that compensate for your titans particular shortcomings to make it viable in more situations. (Jack of all trades) 2) Maximize your titans unique ability making its particular strengths even stronger. (Master of one)
Like using Northstars improves payload to make cluster missile devastating. It’s unbelievable when combined with the last aegis rank because it fires two per charge. Recharges in 10 seconds, meaning only 4 seconds of people not getting blown up. It makes Northstar a much better offensive option because your splash damage is more useful and you can actually kill infantry in under 30 seconds
I use legion with overcore & enhanced ammo capacity. I also tend to be "homeland security", staying close to the harvester & covering the lanes closest. Allowing my team to maneuver at will with little worry of a surprise flanking causing permanent damage or an over correction that will shift teammates out of position & cost us in the longrun. Legion is slow, so it makes more sense to me to mitigate his speed limitation with clever positioning and maximizing his damage potential to quickly eliminate any danger close situation or clear any long, narrow sight line with a torrent of hot metal.
2:55 so with nuke ejection it’s actually really good for this mode, especially on hard or above losing your titan is a huge loss for the team and if you or the harvester is sorounded using nuke ejection will completely destroy all enemies that are attacking the harvester, but be careful because Rappers are smart enough to evade the explosion, but if they are stunned by an arc trap they won’t be able to escape in time, 😎 And another thing is that on maps like Rise or Black water canal where lots of enemy titians are so close together you can wipe out multiple titans and completely stop them form rushing the harvester
Honestly nuclear kit is good for fd. Especially when enemies near the harvester. Sometimes in order to win you have to make sacrifices so self destructing your titan while overwhelmed with enemies is good idea
@@scrateswpo1659 there is no need to sacrifice when you can do invi glitch and with highlander you have infinite sword core even with out blade master unless your team think it's funny ks you Just over core and highlander ftw

I also run Nuke Eject for Northstar, though it’s mostly because I just don’t care as much about the other options.
@@vergil9981Unless you are doing 1 man insane FD (Or just generally insane FD runs) most people I see on Master and below (myself included) doesnt do that, kind of ruins the fun of risk factors and hero moments, I basically use nuke eject on all my titans except Monarch, Ogre class titans = more chances to get upclose and get some nice titan kills, Stryder class have the mobilty AND movement-ish kits to get in quick and kamikaze yourself, Atlas class ones are a mixed bag of both, and nuke eject has the potential to kill 5 or more titans if they get close so why not? Sort of a desperate measure type of thing or to take down some enemies with your titan
I'd disagree on the the kit choice, especially since nuke wasn't mentioned. On a ronin or Northstar, with which you can hover or phase into a group of enemies it can be very deadly.

I've used Scorch's tempered plating and Nuke eject. This setup helps me when he hits doom State and I'm surrounded. That happens to me almost every game.
As effective as that sounds, I imagine keeping Scorch is the better alternative. It may be worth trying to find better places to attack from so you're not surrounded as often =>
Kodomono for me, scorch is my main and my loadout is nuke ejection and tempered plating, when the nuke titans start to gather amongst the legions , nothing better than dumping your gas cylinders and slamming down flame core, because of the tempered plating I just dash into my carnage (because I fucking can haha) and finish any stragglers (if they survive the initial blast), why I love to be surrounded, if it gets hairy and doomstate hits, good old nuke ejection takes alot of titans out, good vid bro
Scorch Main here, I personally use Overcore and Tempered Plating for my Scorch. The aim for me is to get Flame Core as fast as possible to take out enemy titans. By using the Aegis Upgrades and Overcore to your advantage, you can keep throwing down your core repeatedly. Tempered Plating effectively gives you more health due to the lack of critical hits. I've never seen the need for upgrading his Thermite Cannon, since its only for pokes or for triggering thermite traps. Remember, Scorch does the most damage from his Thermite Traps (Stacking AoE Damage) and his Aegis Upgrades compliment this. Rely on them to actively gain your core!
Cheers for this one => When I play again I'll run this setup for a few matches. The Flame Core is obtained super fast already with that mentioned Aegis upgrade, but combining that with Overcore must have some serious fire power =>
If you invest enough in the shields and durability an upgraded Monarch can hold the line rather well, at least against the stragglers that slip by everyone else.

Improved chassis gives monarch 1600 hp, compared to the 1250 for an oger Titan, not the same amount.
Why do you sound like michael jackson
ok,at me tell you guys something right, the assault chip is extremely good with Ion and refraction lens, leave next to the harvester and do your thing while it does the same thing, I speak from complete experience

Pretty sad that I deleted Titanfall 2. Tried to hold on it as long as I could but it really is EXTREMELY repetitive and boring. Hope Titanfall 3 will last me more than a year or 2.
You could use that argument against every FPS, though. And Respawn have given us free DLC every month.
You probably shouldn't hold your breath for titanfall 3. With EA running the show now I seriously doubt they'll release any more because they wouldn't want to compete with their beloved Battlefield for sales
Respawn confirmed they ain't doing titanfall 3
Disliking due to cringeworthy voiceover.
SamFury shame
It really is, knowing we all have to breathe the same air as it.
I apologise for your lack of human decency =
I'm decent to actual human beings.
A real shame...
2:50 i gotta disagree with nuke eject being bad. im a ronin main and ive had some clutch af plays by sacrificing myself to take out like 6 titans at once. i can usually get my titan back in ~2 minutes even without titan hunter
