I am a victim of scam no 2 where the Care Insurance company mentioned fibroids under the abdomen pain category and stated it as pre-existing... Before taking the policy, the salesperson ensured that there wouldn't be any waiting period because I had port from another policy to Care Health Insurance... Now the company is sending me the same email again and again without justifying how it was a pre-existing condition when the pain started just a month ago before my wife's surgery... The salesperson also blocked my number and not responding... I had to pay the hospital bill of 2 lakh by taking a personal loan... CARE HEALTH INSURANCE IS THE WORST... 😭

He is absolutely right as a medical officer in insurance company I know this kind of scams very well even we were unable to pass 100%claims just because of this insurance company.
It happened to me & paid 53k for policy cancellation but later came to know that i paid for 2 different policies for one insurance company 😑 Even after mailing IRDA & the company . There is no response !

Very true sir. I have star health insurance which is one of scam insurance. They denied to give money to hospital after admit in hospital. They really harassed customer. I personally want to say all of customer to not choose atleast star health insurance policy.

Hospitalisation occurs rarely, however we have to pay 20000 each year. Even on hospitalisation does not confirm payment by insurance company. They are just cheating us.
Gaurav sir I took insurance from Aditya Birla and Bajaj finance tie up policy for bone marrow transplant and they claimed that this money will be claimed in just 30 days but when in reality we went to the hospital the claim was denied although they promised to pay while this disease is in pre existing

I feel very sad people who don't have any knowledge are giving knowledge on medical insurance. Dengue if treated timely will cost a patient less than 5000/- which includes medicine+food to increase platelets. You have pushed people to thing that Dengue will cost around 80000/-

The GOI especially Insurance regulatory authority should sell their policies online clearly stating each features, insurance coverage, limitations, medical checkup receipts upload section, amount of premium, health monitoring application giving guidelines for routine checkups for various organs time to time from NABL laboratories etc. The need for Insurance agents should be banned completely as this profession is a nuisances, headache, cheater, Thugs, Touter should be done away with.
The same is the case with the Medical Representative profession, which should be removed. immediately.

I also got scammed by Allahabad Bank and New India Assurance. Took 1.5lakh for 3 yrs. Then discontinued the policy without any reason. Raised request with the Government of India and other authorities but to relief.
