Our family owned the washer. They were my Mom's first... And last and best Maytags.

I’m genuinely happy you exist. And that someone is making videos like this. Thank you.

Such a wonderful, smooth wash motion! They don't make them like that anymore for sure. Truly an American classic! Thank you for sharing! 😊

We had a pair like this that my mom purchased sometime in the 1960’s. I always loved the way that the glass panels lit up with fluorescent tubes! We had these machines for decades.

These machines are some of my favorites that they sold over here in the US, and would love to get my hands on one. I like that it provides individual speed controls for wash and spin, and individual wash and rinse temps, meaning it’s possible for a cold wash and warm rinse. Great video!

I always loved those turquoise Maytag agitators, that you had to pull the part that held the fabric softener cup up to clean the built in lint screen that went all of the way around.

Wow, one of a very select few that I've seen of these machines that I didn't hear the transmission knocking while it was agitating. Must be a really great shape.

Glad to see you have some button ups that were in your wash vids from 8 years ago still! Either they're really durable, or you just know how to take care of them lol.

Can you just clarify what you mean by 'Button ups'?

I just aquired a 1983 Maytag pair from a nice lady that ran them for 30 years. I'm going to replace the pump, as it is growling when it runs, and the drive belts, along with a total cleaning of the cabinet and tub. The dryer works, but will get a new belt and drum rollers. Your Maytag uses the same transmission as mine, and will probably run for a very long time.
The only problem I see with mine is that the lady used fabric softener, and there is a coating of the stuff on everything in the outer tub. Maybe, it has preserved the metal? We'll find out. Thanks for your video!

So cool you got Maytag center dial knob. By the way what happened your old videos of Hoover washer that has fabric softener dispenser that attach to the agitator the one that you were sneezing from your Android phone like wash cycle rinse spin and drain and fill and the other video of kelvinator 2 model 269 and speed queen coin washer and front load washer and video of your washer collections

I did a clean up of my videos and the Hoover ones and Speed Queen coin op I deleted as I no longer have those specific machines. I'll do a better video of a similar Hoover i have and maybe one of the mid sized Kelvinator or equivalent Simpson at some stage.
