Hey Carl. Nice lil' instructive vid. I recall in the dim and distant corners of my befuddled brain, that the original cappu was exactly as you describe it...espresso, foamy milk. Now I don't know when someone decided to sprinkle chocolate over it, but in my occasional quasi-Barista spells in Cafeland, I always ask if the customer would like chocolate. Quite often you get the "what?" look, translated as "why would you even ask that...of course I do!" Hey, I don't make the rules, but it seems polite and the last thing Joe Cappu wants, is a coffee history lesson, right? All of that said, I don't drink 'em!! Very occasional flat white, even more occasional cortado, pretty much always, single origin black. Perhaps I just don't suit the foamy moostash... 🤨

I mostly chose cappuccino as they are the easiest to froth milk for!
