It’s hard to film a night air show and until you’ve seen one, it’s hard to comprehend what it is you are seeing and how cool it is. Night air shows are a relatively new thing and the performers are still working out how to make them better and more impressive. It’s a whole new dimension to air shows!
They are incredible to watch. Difficult to capture well on video but still pretty cool.
I feel that last year's was more awesome for me, but I only have seen them through video. I'm looking forward to watching Saturday's live on EAA's website live though!
@@watashiandroid8314 I missed it on video while changing batteries, but at the end during fireworks they set off a massive napalm looking explosion that was awesome. I captured a small one that’s on this video but the big one at the end was pretty spectacular.
@@aviationkitbuilder i bet the in person experience is many times more amazing than on video. Oh, and to be clear, even though I said that I thought last year's was more awesome does not mean that I think this year's is not awesome, it is still very awesome! Thank you for recording and sharing! It seems like it is more difficult to record the night airshow and you did a great job!
We just left the Saturday night fireworks. Absolutely AMAZING. The whole day was. We go every year. It was our youngests 1 time. If u can, GO! You will love it. The fireworks and wall of fire is unbeatable!!
I haven’t seen the Saturday night show yet, I wonder if it’s bigger than the Wednesday show.
@@aviationkitbuilder I think it might have been, it was amazing!! I felt so much pride for my country watching our airforce and other pilots. Being there in person watching definitely puts a lump in your throat! Thanks for sharing the Wednesday night show with everyone!! I always suggest going to EAA Airventure if you can!!
@@aviationkitbuilder They're Identical for the Pyro and Fireworks just with a few aircraft differences I can attest being out there all week but it'll never get old 😍
@@technoaurora Thanks, I’m new to Airventure so I wasn’t sure.
No words to adequately describe what I just saw. Thanks for sharing. Both the T6 Aeroshell team and the Fireworks flight were just fantastic. I'm partial to round sound, so that's hard to beat.
Thanks for watching. You really just can’t beat the look and especially the sound of the Aeroshell team.
The magic of Osh. My favorite is Younkin in the Beech 18 . How he starts on the ground doing some circles blowing smoke in the dark so he can start with just that one spotlight coming thru the smoke. Takes off and times his lights off to the break in the music, only to come roaring back in and turn them all on at once. Just wonderful.
Had the luck to see Toro Toro Toro at the start of the evening show during twilight. Man they put on a fabulous show. Bit of a East wind so the piro and smoke oil was blowing back toward us in the crowd. It was a wonder they did not hit each other. Zero's and Val's diving in with smoke on and bombs going off. P40 taking off thru all that smoke only to come back thru the smoke on the tail of a zero. Just when you thought it could not get more impressive suddenly out of the smoke comes a B17 roaring on takeoff. They all formed up for a show pass and lit what had to be a mile long gas trough.
It's a very special place and even non aviation fans should see it for a day or 2. :)
Sounds like the Saturday show was pretty awesome, wish I could have stayed around to see it.
An airplane that launches it’s own fireworks show! Does it get any cooler that that?!?!
Amazing! Thanks for sharing for all of us that can’t be there. I know it has to much more impressive in person but I still appreciate it!
Thanks for watching. The night airshows are just so cool.
Would be cool to see all those finale fireworks from that pilot’s perspective!
I bet that would be cool. I’ve always wanted to fly on the 4th of July but have never done it.
The music could be more in-sync, but hey nice!
Music is hard with airshows because they blast copyrighted music over speakers during the show that UA-cam will block. I like the roar of the engines and at times its louder than the music so your ok. Thanks for watching.
@@aviationkitbuilder The music that was playing was also copyright protected. Silence is more in this case then that music in the background ;-)
beautfuil how did they do that with the plane nice flying
The announcers said one of the planes had 200lbs of fireworks on it. I would love to see pictures of how their mounted. Pretty awesome to watch.
wow
Thanks for watching.
