Wyll is a special type of supportive that really gets to me. Me-starion is romancing Wyll and they are so cute. I cried irl on my reject Durge play through when he said he was proud of me, he was the only companion response that got me, even Astarion saying that it’s painful being reborn and that he doesn’t fear our future. Wyll is young but his sincerity is so pure.
yes gosh he's so lovely...and like, this scene especially gets to me, all of it...him referring to himself as a memory of a memory, him talking about his memories of baldur's gate growing up, how sweet he is to astarion...like that memory of a memory line makes me cryyyy... also the fact that "i know you can find the light if you know where to look" dialogue parallels his act 2 romance scene, and his feeling like part of him is a shadow left behind in baldur's gate, which mirrors astarion's dialogue about how he's been walking around like a ghost... i love them both dearly. and i really love how theo solomon delivered all of this too just, the weight he gives everything, and yes, the sincerity!!!! his performance as wyll is like, way way underrated imo... he really is incredible in the role. also i am so sorry to ramble at you but i love him and have many thoughts about him (and. both of them...) and it is. also 2am here 😅 sleep may be good. oh dear
@@magnetuning All of the actors and the writers went so hard. and the animators. Wyllstarion kiss animations fit so well especially the patch 6 ones. All of the companions are meant to plausibly end up with everyone else but Star deserves some wooing and classic romance imo❤️🔥 Agh and the dynamic of Wyll’s a young old man and Astarion is a old young man. They can borrow each other’s youthfulness.🥹
thank you for uploading this dialogue!! i missed it in my playthrough and i've been wanting to go back and find it, but most of my astarion save is inaccessible to me now because of a mod i removed lmao. so i appreciate being able to see this without starting an entirely new save :]
