Looks like the game's shaping up really well! I didn't end up putting much time into the demo, but what I did was quite fun and I am super looking forward to the eventual Early Access* release! (not 1.0, my mistake) Thank you for mentioning the custom simplayer tier, I didn't know that was a thing and would love to support for such a reward.
Erenshor is a masterclass in nostalgia, capturing the magic of early 2000s MMOs-back when the genre felt fresh, immersive, and full of wonder, before the tyranny of the masses diluted them into monotonous, streamlined experiences. By eliminating the pressure of FOMO-driven endgame grinding and min/maxing, Erenshor invites players to savor the adventure at their own pace, embracing a rich "journey before destination" philosophy. And this is just my impression from the demo and Halloween event.
I’m relieved to hear that there will be ways to access the holiday stuff on our own time. I was a little afraid that timed stuff would conflict with the vision for the game, but now I’m not :) I just finished the demo, and I’m super excited for this, but in the spirit of my earlier comment, please take your time. It’ll be worth it :)
Really looking forward to this. I love to hop back into World of Warcraft from time to time, but just end up really never having the TIME to do things as a group, or getting pulled away for various life events during the day/night. This game will be legendary. The only REAL thing I would like to be different is the art style a bit. I think it could be a bit better, and some of the controls are still not very natural, but possibly through EA that will change for the better/easier. Thanks for making this game, really appreciate it.
Big big big fan. Cannot wait for early access! Regarding item drops. Do you plan on having boss specific loot tables that can roll to higher tiers or is "dungeon loot" set in stone? Also, how will world loot be handled? Can you get a level 5 sword to drop from any level 5 mob in the world or will goblins drop swords but bears will drop staves (as examples)? Because if I get a normal quality sword I might want to farm the same mobs for an epic quality sword
I'm using set loot tables, so goblins will always have a chance to drop goblin weapons and undead will always have a chance drop undead weapons, etc. Lots of loot tables have rare and legendary drops in them so you'll be able to farm as long as you want. Named / special mobs have loot tables that include common and rare drops, but they'll always drop something, so you don't leave empty handed.
Adding to the echo chamber: as a dad of multiple kids now with very little time for MMOs (as well as being burnt out on modern MMO's other than Pantheon, which I'm getting big FOMO about), this is definitely my most anticipated game of 2025. I love the demo and have purposefully not dedicated too much time to it since I know I'm gonna be diving hard into this.
As always im very impressed with each update. This games is going to be amazing. I have a question. Is there going to be simulated pvp arena or battleground?
Curious as to why the run speed is so fast. Makes it seem more like a modern action themed mmo and less a classic mmo. Maybe I am confused as to what this is.
@@marzaik_yt everything is open to feedback. So far it's been a better "feel" to take out the timesinks like long slow runs, downtime between fights, etc. some things truly are best done with friends and downtime is one of them. In the video, those are all higher end characters with agility buffs, fwiw.
Please make a separate multiplayer MMO game with this aesthetic. Looks so cool but a single player mmo is not my thing. Glad others are enjoying it tho
Excited to play but the zero multiplayer does break my heart a bit. A game tuned for single would be ideal to bring my wife and kids along for :) Just say you are entering ez mode this is meant for solo play ;)
Takes me back to the EverQuest early days. Hopefully you keep that game at a slower pace, the journey is always better than the endgame, which are boring, and grindy.
Okay, so it's a single player version of an MMORPG. Is it themepark based or more of a sandpark? Is there emergent gameplay where your actions have consequences in the world? I really don't want to play WoW in single player mode....

The players goal is to uncover the world history, get loot, do some quests and just enjoy those mmorpg dopamine hits with the simplayer population.
I can't wait, I'm so hyped for this!!! I been playing the demo and just from that I love it!!! And this is perfect for person like me cause I love MMOs like everquest or any other ones but I always play them solo, so this is perfect one for someone like me!!!!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥
