We sure miss Lester here in Edmonton. What a gift to music. So glad I saw him so often when I could. I'll always be grateful to Tara, the old President of The Yardbird Suite, for making sure I heard him the first time.
A fellow Edmontonian, born & raised...like Lester, relocated to BC. He was playing this same sawed off Fender at the old Ambassador basement's bar, with the Sippin Lizards, circa, mid-'80's.
