That's an excellent colour - refreshing to see a less canary-yellow option. We don't see many Rotary watches in Australia, but I liked the finish on a Henley (field?) watch of theirs. Cheers.

Very nice looking watch and a good move not to have this yellow dial as a sunburst dial. The only thing that puts me off is that Miyota non-hacking movement which also seems to have rotor noise issues.... albeit the time accuracy is very good. A pity they didn't use the NH35 instead. Thank you for a very enjoyable review as always.

The miyota is more accurate and far more robust and suffers less from positional variance the the nh series
Cheers Anders. I think this is a good offering from Rotary. They’re definitely improving over the old high street type watch they used to offer and a fair price for a large company. They did well with the yellow colour too. Not sure about the handset but otherwise it’s decent 👍

So here we are the day after the moonswatch launch. So i must ask. Given a choice between this and a moonswatch,,,what would you choose?? I would choose this Rotary all day,,and i'm an Omega fan.
For that price better a Swiss Made Glycine Combat Sub, honestly I see no good value in that Rotary at all, but maybe it's just me.
Glycine is definitely tough competition with their low prices and Swiss movements. I reviewed a few and for the price they are a good buy.
The Glycine is better but 4 times the price.
Perhaps you need to wear one? NOT challenging, but the weight and heft on this thing is awesome, OK its chinese with a Japanese rudimentary mov,t but tried and tested . Not everything made in China is Junk ( pun intended) The accuracy of my blue example is frankly amazing.
Wow, the best they can do for a movement is the cheapest Miyota available?? Too bad, since it's a nice watch otherwise. Could have been a contender...

240 now, the movement isn't bad, it's worked for years. Just because it's manufactured in china doesn't make it bad, quality on it is amazing
