Okay y’all, this is day 5 of nasal congestion and I am finally starting to feel relief. This is what has worked for me: apple cider cayenne and boiled water steam 3x a day like she said, drinking ginger lemon and honey tea by boiling fresh lemons and fresh ginger morning and night, hot steamy long showers multiple times a day, elderberry tea, id drink regular ginger and lemon tea and I’d add honey, cinnamon and apple cider vinegar, lemon water, lots of water throughout the day, spicy foods - I added fresh jalapeños and lots of cayenne pepper to my soups and foods and cinnamon to my smoothies, (try to eat foods that eliminate mucus), over the counter decongestant, emergen C, nasal spray, rubbing vicks on my chest, upper back, under nose, and bottom of feet with socks on, especially after a shower and before bed, sleeping on my back and elevating my head (I would use like three pillows to elevate my head), I would also sleep with a bowl of raw onions next to me every night, sounds weird but the same thing in onions that causes eyes to burn and cry is the same thing that draws out toxins and this actually helped, vitamin C, D & E, zinc, rest, and lots of prayer and positive mindset. I normally sleep with a fan on, but definitely had to turn that off since it causes mucus to dry and thicken. I would listen to 528 hz frequencies which helps to heal energy and repair dna. This is just what has worked for me! This sounds like a lot, but I’ll do anything to be able to breathe normally again. Hope this helps someone! ✨

Have you ever tried alternating nostril breath technique? I found it on UA-cam when I was desperate to breath one night and it was by an older Chinese guy, but you can find it ujder yoga or breathwork videos as well. It takes a bit of time and effort bc obviously you can't breathe properly right away, but I swear, eventually if you stick with it for few mins it will clear bit by bit. I even got my taste and smell back. Which tells me it cleared SOMETHING! And I can breathe. Not like super clear, but still good enoigh.

When I was a kid in the 70s, my mom knew all the old-fashioned remedies, and we never went to the doctor. When we had sore throats, we gargled with warm salt water. When I had canker sores, which I got sometimes in my teens, I remember my mom putting salt in a little piece of paper towel, folding it up, and then making me put it right on the canker sore. It hurt until it was numb. lol! And when we had congestion, she put different herbs from her kitchen cabinet in a pot of boiling water bent us over it and had us put a towel over our heads! She also used something similar to try and help with my acne issues. (it didn't work, but I sure appreciate what she did back then now that I'm "old") I wish I had had a daughter to pass all this knowledge on to.

Excellent video! Thanks for sharing. I started using Dristan nasal spray as a kid and I'm sure I was addicted to it. Finally got off of sprays and began using various tablets for many years. Though I'm sure some of my congestion is allergy related, I eventually lost my sense of smell and taste. For several months now, I've stopped using all decongestants and antihistimines, and began using sinus saltwater rinse every night with very good results. My sense of smell/taste has returned somewhat (which I'm very happy about!). I'll add your method as well and see if that also helps. Hopefully, not too much info...but if it helps someone, great!

Is this treatment recommended if one has extremely dry nasal mucous membranes or would the ACV and Cayenne vapour be too harsh?

Or does it have to fresh every time?

I'm allergic to pollen and we're at the time of the year where my sinuses are kicking my ass 24/7 cause of it. Have been looking around for different remedies and steam seems to be what I'm finding the most so I'll def give this one a try. We also have recently harvested cayenne peppers that we dehydrated to make our own powder, so really hoping it helps give it some kick!

I'm so glad I found this channel!🤗 This reminded me of my Mom. Her and my Grandma used to have me do this as a kid. They used vinegar for so many things around the house. I grew up in Maryland, so as a kid I would always laugh when they used it for this, or for Sun burn, and I would say "Now I know how the Crabs feel"😁 such great memories🤗 I just know I will enjoy your channel. Thank You!

I throw a bit of eucalyptus leaf in the bowl and steam with that. The ACV is too acidic on my throat and nasal passages because I have something called "silent reflux" which now and then leaves stomach acid in my throat. And if anything acid gets in there, it activates the pepsin which eats away at the soft tissue. So I have to put only alkaline foods down there (not alkalizing, that's different). Anyone with LPR should not use an acidic steam. Everyone else can though.

Apple Cider Vinegar has so many uses! Love this and will try it! When I breathe out my nose I smell an rotten clam smell. Seems to be an infection beginning. I thought I killed it with Colloidal Silver nasal spray but I guess I should have gone the full 8 days because it has returned. Thank you for your video. So easy to do too!

@@carmengutierrez6258 use a large jar. I cut as many onions that the jar will hold. Depending on the size of the onions 2-3. 3 Tablespoons sugar. Most recipes I've seen is just those 2 ingredients but I add a few cloves of garlic. Onions and garlic secrete through the lungs so it helps with cough as well. Let sit in fridge 24 hours so the sugar pulls out all the goodness from the onions and garlic. Keep liquid discard the rest. I took a couple of tablespoons a few times a day.
