The Traditional Vic Bergeron (Trader Vic) Mai Tai
1oz (30ml) Jamaican Rum
1oz (30ml) Rhum Agricole (or gold rum)
.5oz (15ml) Dry Curaçao
.5oz (15ml) Orgeat
.25oz (7.5) Simple Syrup
1oz Lime Juice
Shake and serve over crushed ice
Garnish with a spent Lime husk and sprig of mint

.75oz (22ml) Orange Curaçao
.75oz (22ml) Lime Juice
.5oz (15ml) Orgeat
.5oz (15ml) Dark Rum - This is a float
Garnish: lime wheel
Garnish: mint sprig

Where (and when) did you get that bottle of Myers's? Looks vintage/old.
Actually, I got it this summer in Toronto where I am. Maybe they're printing "Vintage" type labels for this market? I love the rum though!
Maybe you've already tried it, but I highly recommend Liber & Co Orgeat. It actually tastes like candied almonds. The Torani brand just tastes fake imo.
Good tip. Thanks! I need to look out for some better Orgeat, or I might try making my own. I can't seem to get Liber & Co here in Canada, but I can get Small hand Foods and I hears they're pretty good.
