  • Relax as I talk and write about some of the great NBA basketball players from the 1990s. Many of you have been asking for another basketball card video and with the NBA playoffs currently going on, I was in the mood to open a vintage pack of Upper Deck basketball cards from the 1991-92 season. I don't keep up with card values these days, so if you see anything of value be sure to let me know.

    This video was created with relaxation in mind, but, if you want to get straight to the cards you can skip to them here: 2:19 and 6:50
    The videos on my UA-cam channel portray some of the typical day-to-day activities that I do for relaxation. This video was produced with relaxation in mind and hopefully has some ASMR qualities. Too much stress is harmful to your well-being and in today’s fast-paced world, stress management is more important than ever, and so I hope this ASMR video acts as a stress reliever for those watching and a sleep-aid for anyone having a difficult time falling asleep.

    For some reason I've always imagined you in quite formal clothing, like you've just come home from working in an office and rolled up your shirt sleeves before making an asmr video haha. Was strange seeing a casual shoe.

    I watch a lot of basketball, by far my favorite sport. I played all through my middle and high school career, and I remember looking at Olojuwan’s statistics and see 4 double digit numbers, and I thought to myself “This guy is going to be a hall of famer” several years down the road, look where he is! He is really by the books!

      It would be my luck that the 25 year old air in that pack was harboring some sort of virus, or worse yet, the remnants of odor from the card production line worker that just had beans for lunch on that day a quarter century ago. Yes...I said it.

    You struggled on the Sam Bowie name, funny because he was drafted the same year as MJ and went before him, only Bowie and Olajuwon went before MJ that year in the draft.

      I don't know why, but a scene from the movie Twister popped into my head, the one where the whole chase team was sharing a meal around aunt Meg's table and talking about tornado Fujita classifications and Bill's girlfriend asked about F5 tornados.

      RelaxingASMR that is a weird thing to come up with from my question. 😂 haha. Good video by the way. Would you consider doing more chore/repair videos? I enjoy those very much.

    • @RelaxingASMR
      @RelaxingASMR  7 років тому +1

      Weird? I suppose you're right. It just that a quad-double is such a rare thing seeing that there's only been four in NBA history, that when I read your question it just reminded how everyone at that table just stopped lol. As for chore videos...I've had good intentions but the camera does add a lot of time to the chore and it seems like I always have such a short amount of time to get the chore done that I haven't bothered with the camera. I do need to change the transmission fluid in my truck and the oil in my lawnmower soon, maybe I'll tape it:)
