The layout reminds me of Workington on marine traffic

This has brought back memories from 1965, grey ships being cut up in the outer harbour at low tide and my brother pushing me of a sand cliff leading to a broken wrist. Glad to see the grain ships still docking, is it still for Carrs?
Glad it brought back some memories for you, hope it wasn't too painful 😲 and yes the grains for Carr's as well as animal feed. Thanks for watching and commenting 👍
Awesome pal 👌. Do you have info as to when these ships dock etc or is it just luck?I miss all the good stuff 😂
Yes it's just marine traffic app on playstore, or solway shipping on the web, marine traffic gives ETA tima at port. Hope this helps
@@cumbrianbod thank you pal, maybe see you around 😃

Hi mate it's just a mini 2
@@cumbrianbod I have mini 2se that give me more confidence over the water see what you can do cheers class 👌
Great vid thanks. How do know what cargo they are carrying, or is it just wait and see? 👍
Hi, I think it's mainly grain, molasses and fertilizer at Silloth. Thanks for watching 👍
This appears to be grain, based on the trucks it's being loaded into. (It also looks like it could be sand, but that would be too heavy for big trucks like that.)
@@beeble2003local feed and grain merchant supposedly is buyer.. great thing is Silloth was receiving grain all the way from San Francisco California and Douglas fir and Cedar from Oregon in 1800s
Are they going to dredge this any time soon?
