I don’t know how many recordings I have of Anthony Burger playing the piano and he has always been my favorite pianist. This does not appear to be Anthony playing the piano in my opinion. It doesn’t match Anthony’s style or his smoothness.
I will say whoever is playing and attempting to copy Anthony with this arrangement is good but they aren’t on the same level with Anthony.
You ever hear the saying, if you don't have something good to say don't say anything. This fella is pretty good and I could see alot of Anthony B' s flavor and style.
Agreeing with Nick’s reply, I would also add that Anthony used a lot of instrumental tracks to back him up, which gave his music a little more fullness and a bit more rhythm. Most pianists who play his arrangements don’t have that at their disposal, so I would encourage you to take that into consideration. Also, Anthony produced many piano arrangement books when he was alive, and they’re great arrangements but I’ll admit they don’t sound exactly like Anthony when you play the printed transcriptions. But they’re still nice to have and fun to play.
Awesome
