If the world needs a wake up call on the state of the human race, this episode is the one that hits the mark. Thank you Casey and Andrew for your continued work.
The world or the USA? Many countries do not have these issues because they don’t have rubbish diets and have a much higher reliance on public transport, walking and cycling e.g . Japan Korea Indonesia Vietnam China Malaysia Italy Germany Scandinavian countries. Yes some closer to the US diet are also heading the wrong way but it is less of a problem outside USA ( PS I am in Australia and we are definitely heading the wrong way due to the increase in rubbish diet)
yeah, one of the people you respected the most promoting eating the babies of deer and stag within the first 4 minutes of their podcast is a wake up call. If that's how they want to get life they don't deserve it. They fear being treated like humans are treated in the matrix because of their own sick souls.
@@PaddythelaadYou don’t have to listen to Andrew if you don’t respect him, maybe do some research before espousing your uneducated woke views, Axis deer are a problem on Maui they are not native to Hawaii and were introduced They have become an invasive species, competing with native wildlife for resources and habitat they also cause significant damage to crops, they also get frequently killed by cars because of there overpopulation,
When you hear someone speak who is obviously so smart and is able to articulate insights in such a clear and relatable way... so refreshing. Im an automatic fan...
As an emergency medicine physician for 20 years now practicing functional medicine, Dr. Means has hit the nail on the head of what we need to do as a system to create health as opposed to just the treatment disease. Essentially, one of the main drivers of my switching specialties. Allopathic medicine is missing half the boat. Thank you for this.
Another MD here... Former ultra specialist who also saw the light & left for Lifestyle Medicine, plant medicine & helping folks actually HEAL now. Yayyyy to this episode!! 🎉🎉
This might be my new favorite episode to date. Dr. Means’ perfect articulation of ‘going back to nature’ left my jaw on the ground! So incredibly inspiring and articulate.
This podcast stands above many of prof-hubermans podcasts, every one who cares about optimal health and fitness should be watching this with pen and pad…
The last 30 minutes is EVERYTHING! Hearing from a physician how childhood trauma, the importance of feeling safe, and the relationship between control, fear and perceived “threat” changes metabolic functioning… “trauma and fears of 8 billion people… our cells are responding to those threats” All related to our fear of death and our bodies, minds and spirits needing to adapt our resources to keep us “alive”. So amazing and her advice to be present in nature and outside is key. Thanks so much for interviewing her!
Right!! You see Al of these horrible things that people do to each other but if you just put the phone down. You realize how the cell phone is made to keep eyes on it, and fear is one of the major factor that’s keeps us glued.
After my last pregnancy, I was finding it hard to get a full hour or more workout with a young family and full-time job, so I busted it up into 10-minute bites throughout the day. 10 minutes, 5 times a day, and I ate sensibly. I had a slow, gradual loss. I lost 60# in 18 months.
We all have time for the things we Choose to prioritize.. I say fooey to everyone who says they don't have time. We all waste more time on less important things every day
@@anonymousanonymous7304 I experienced the same, ending in 2018. I did find that the short bursts the commentator described helped my anxiety, mental health and a minimal level of fitness. Often it was a power walk around the block as often as possible. This time will come to an end. 😌 but you will get your life back.
A food addict at heart, I've always been stuck with 2 options: 1. to resist cravings and 2. to give in to them. Thanks to this podcast now I have a 3rd: to get rid of cravings all together. Understanding the mechanism of L-cells and GLP1 has given me a direct pathway to satiety. I cannot tell you how valuable this newly found freedom from cravings is. Thank you doesn't quite cover it, but thank you!
So good to hear! That is the path I am on right now. I can keep my weight down and I eat super healthy but I still just want to gorge on food! 😂 I quit drinking and smoking weed and I have an addictive nature, so I really have to watch myself when it comes to eating. It's mainly a portion problem.
So glad she was raised as a Christian and has the power of God to help her be as strong and truthful as she can be. Her brother helps with the pharmaceutical part of the story. We need the complete information that is truthful. I thank God for the strength and truth that you cannot find today. Thanks for sharing them on your channel ❤😊
I was very moved by Dr. Means' final words: 2:44:05 She said beautiful and very important things! Spending more time outdoors as an antidote to existential fear and to regain awareness that we are one with the environment: "we're a process not an entity".
Their intelligence and ability to comprehend and also be articulate about real health is beyond anything I've ever listened to. They both really do their homework and study it all. They also have a very defined philosophy about overall living for longevity. I'm 75 and on no medications but I have some recent issues with blood sugar and I learned here about healing my mitochondria as opposed to just lowering blood sugar. This has been hugely educational. Thank you both.
I am a first-time listener. You’ve given me so much to ponder. I work in policy and politics, & I kept thinking about how I would message this to the state and local policymakers I work with. Truly Food for Thought.
If anyone lives in MI or OH and needs a physician to order these tests, I'm your guy! This work is literally the reason I get out of bed in the morning. Thank you both for the wonderful, life saving, information!
I've found Ulta labs to be quite reasonable, and they don't require blood orders. I don't have insurance anymore, but when I did, a few simple thyroid blood markers were $1300 and my insurance would only cover $1000. I'd pay for the rest out of pocket. The same tests are ~$40 from Ulta labs without insurance. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of health insurance. I'd shit on the board room tables of health insurers if I could. Free sample on me.
@@limitisillusion7 that's an awesome resource! I never place orders through insurance for this exact reason. I typically place them for cash paying patients through Rupa Health or Lab Assist. Much better pricing than even a patients co pay. Also some of the kost important tests I order aren't even covered, so what's the point.
The whole "being outside" thing is so underrated. Our family spends more time outdoors than inside. Compared to our family members who live near us but are quite literally scared of going outside (bugs, weather, no fluffy couch to sit on), our family is within that 6.8% of true metabolically healthy Americans she talks about. No meds, our biomarkers are spot on. Outside is literal medicine, and I wish more people understood that.
This and the podcast with Dr. Robert Lustig are on the top of my list. I learned so much, and I changed so much in my life. I feel extremely grateful to have the possibility to learn in my 40's, to change and most important to be full of energy. You are great.
Awesome discussion. I wish the final 15min about fear, mortality, abundance, western vs. eastern, awe in nature and cycles, (and the impacts on personal metabolic health AND the American healthcare system) was another HOUR - this isn't discussed enough.
This conversation confirms an intuition I had while listening to Christopher Palmer's book. As he was describing the bidirectional relationship between not just all mental health conditions, but also mental health conditions AND physical conditions like diabetes and cardiovascular conditions, it dawned on me that he was actually pitching a unifying theory of ALL chronic health conditions. I am SO glad we're starting to figure this all out!
Dr H this has been hands-down one of your most interesting and important podcasts. Everything hangs on metabolism, all we do, all protocols are just there to optimize metabolism.
I love the enthusiasm and excitement Dr. Means has for these topics and how she ties it all together with life giving processes that exist naturally in our world. It leaves you feeling hopeful and empowered.
This was fantastic. Took me 3 days to finish it, but it was so rich with insight, and Dr. Casey is incredibly lucid and wholistic. This should be the first podcast everyone should pay attention to. Well done guys.
Wow. This episode really shifted the way I think about my health, movement, and metabolism as the fundamental piece of wellness. The paradigm shift of “exercise” vs movement (muscle contractions) scattered in small doses throughout the day is HUGE. Thank you Andrew Huberman for bringing Dr. Casey on. Her passion and genuine interest in the wellbeing of humanity make her one of the truest doctors out there.
Wow ! What a podcast. A one stop shop explaining everything about you , the mitochondria ( the soul, if you like) and how it gets impacted by what you eat, what you think and what you believe and so on. The last 10-15 minutes of the podcast are so powerful, Dr Casey seems to be really into it emotionally. 😊 She indirectly touched upon Eastern Philosophy too ! 3 hours of wonderful experience watching the podcast. A must watch !!
Engaging in both endurance & resistance training, in addition to maintaining an active lifestyle generally, can help improve the functioning of mitochondria and may decrease cancer risk. These things matter, and they are low-no cost; we need only DO them and keep doing them! 🙌👍
live a more analog life and you will reap the benefits, everything is automated these days which equates to lazy, doing more engages your mind and body
Doctors that acknowledge the importance of food are the best! And they are also going against the disease-driven system they are apart of. Great job! 👏

Preach! When Dr. Means was digging into our cultural fear of death and need for nature I was blown away. Amazing to hear such a knowledgeable person speak this way. Really grateful for this episode!
It's so sad. People are so afraid to die that they don't know how to live. But what good is immortality if you don't know how to live? People genuinely look to AI for immortality, and yet, we don't even know what happens when we die.
“We are a process, not an entity….a verb + not a noun”. Spectacular guest (+ my next 🎧📚) So many incredible bits of knowledge to take onboard: thank you Casey! Amazing episode 🙏🏻
Such a fantastic episode! As an MD I can testify to the fact they dont teach this stuff in med school. It was truly eye opening! Thank you and please invite Dr Means again soon ! Thank you!
This is so damn good!! As someone who has struggled with obesity all my adult life and is currently taking a GLP-1 medication, I am motivated to drop it and try the things mentioned here to increase GLP-1 naturally. Walking on the treadmill multiple times during the day is golden for me as some who works from home and struggles to get the one longer walk in, this is so much more manageable with my work schedule! THANK YOU both!! Book is on preorder!
As a nutrition professor and dietitian this was a refreshing podcast. So much noise and I’m glad Dr. Means highlighted Kevin Hall’s study on ultra-processed diet vs non-processed diet. One thing I wished she would have spoken to is fiber. Not all fibers are fermented by the microbiome to produce GLP-1. She was spot on saying it delays gastric emptying and absorbing some nutrients (like glucose) but they typically are not fermentable. Nice, refreshing podcast.
This is the best conversation I’ve listened to on podcasts. With her experience and how she explains that our simple choices affect our mitochondria. I loved every bit of this. Thank you!

Dr. Casey Means is a very rare person who is honest, truthful and whose analysis is as detailed yet as broad as humanely possible. The best we can do is share her message with our relatives, friends, and acquaintances. Thank you Andrew for your channel, conducted in the same spirit. When lots and lots of people get this good information, they will hopefully be able to push back on the forces of evil and greed in the ag, pharma and financial industries.
I am reading this book right now and will make it mandatory for the family to read. Will buy multiple copies for friends and families. Anyone wants to be healthy and feel good needs to learn.
One of the best explanations of the train wreck our food system, lifestyles, and lack of movement have created...with details on how to improve!!! One of the best podcasts I've heard. Save this and share it!
Thank you for another amazing podcast, I really liked the fact that moving all day of course intermittently is very important for health, as a nurse who is pretty much up for 14 hrs daily I find it vey encouraging. For all the healthcare professionals, let’s save lives without forgetting our own.
I already listened to this on Apple Podcasts. But I came to UA-cam to see her face. I’ve been in awe for the whole episode while listening to everything Dr. Means have said. I resonated with EVERYTHING and I appreciate her capacity to wrap and connect a lot of topics in this beautiful way. This is one of the best chapters ever. And if I were to recommend once again this podcast to anyone this is the chapter I would share. It’s like an extract of what the purpose of this podcast is about. Great great stuff.
Might be your best yet, many thought provoking points made by Dr Means and you just brought out the best in her...thank you for hosting such amazing guests!
Dr. Casey is special. She is not only extremely knowledgable but wise, eloquent and beautiful. This and James Hollis episodes were my all time favorites. They talk simple stuff yet profound. Thanks, Andrew. You are special too for conducing these interviews with grace, humility and brilliance. ❤️🙂
Dear Andrew, this episode came at the perfect time, as I realized last week from a routine bloodtest, that my metabolism is completely crashed (Type 2 Diabetes Insulin Levels) and my doctors didn‘t bother telling me about it, as I‘m not yet prediabetic (at 22 years old, BMI 26). This made me panic and research, what „illness“ could cause a bad metabolism and if I needed to take medicine. I came to the conclusion, that all the things you two talked about is what needed to change in my life. In just a week of implementing some of those things you just talked about, my energy and mental health are at an all time high and health issues that I have suffered with are declining almost magically. I will never go back to what I did before and am so immemsensely thankful for the work you do! I have been put on a weightloss drug myself without any information that I needed to change my lifestyle. I‘m thankful to be able to access this highly valuable knowledge, and for you for takimg the time to educate people! I will spread the message! All love from Switzerland
I've many of the labs podcast over the past few years and they have inspired me to return to study at 50 to learn more. This is the best podcast I have seen so far. Just finishing my second viewing and will be rewatch many times more to fully appreciate the excellent information provided here. Highly recommend taking notes.
One of your best episodes ever! I am familiar with Dr. Casey Means's work, her podcasts. She just layered it all out with incredible passion. Her book will be a reference guide to be referred to over and over again. Thank you both.
I have been targeted for years in my family because of the correct functioning of my metabolism, it's weird how you can be the odd one for being healthy, a huge thank you to Dr Casey for helping me clarify the situation in the last two years
Dr. Casey is amazing at explaining health science! She talks so clearly that I understand every word she says. Even when there are difficult words, she makes them easy to understand. It's like she has a magic way of teaching!
Such a great conversation! I absolutely LOVE that she is talking about good soil. Because there is only one way to really good soil, and that is through a regenerative mindset, which just so happens to be exactly how to heal both the planet and the people
I listen to dr hunerman podcast every night at work and it’s so amazing I learn so much from him and the people he has on the podcast. This woman and Dr Lyons’s has been my favorite so far.
I agree with others saying this is one of the best episodes to date. Dr. Means has such a wonderful way of articulating information for laypeople who both want to understand but need simplification. Thank you!
Keep going Andrew, 💪 your fans have an immense amount of gratitude for what you are doing. I've been very saddened by the recent negativity surrounding you and that is actually what pushed me to leave a comment. I guess it is inevitable with the rise in fame so take it as a good sign! You come across to me as one of the most humble scientists that I have come across and the reason I keep coming back to this podcast is because I personally think that you do a very good job of discerning between opinions and facts and are open to being wrong, changing your views as the science and consensus of various topics is always progressing. 🎉 I hope this adds a little positivity to your day.
I do everything I can to exercise without exercising. I clean animal pens, rake grass pasture for our animals, garden, cleaning, landscaping, etc. I love cooking and feeding my family from our garden. I do still have chronic problems, but this gave me so much insight. Thank you for this!
I’ve listened to a lot of your podcasts and they’re all great but this one is by far one of the best. It didn’t feel like 3h and I will most likely listen to it again. Thank you both for sharing all your knowledge so freely. God bless you ❤
2 weeks ago I suffered from a back injury and guess who releases a new video about the back? Then I just told my friend yesterday I can't workout like I used to because I fell like I don't have energy, and just the next day guess who releases a new video on the topic? You are a life saver. Appreciate you ad Dr. Casey for having this discussion.
I started listening to this yesterday and today I had my alarm set on my phone and have been making myself move every 30-40 minutes! This was some great stuff and I've already pre-ordered the book. Thank you both for giving so much information that is easy to understand and put into practice.
Dr Huberman this was one of the most relevant podcasts that I have heard in a longtime . Dr Casey pointed out some of the fundamental issues plaguing society and the medical system so simply and I loved how she broke down the actionable steps one can take to improve our health and consequently our emotions . LOVED it!
I truly enjoyed this episode. Dr. Casey Means is very straightforward. Thankful for health care workers that put the TRUTH out here. Hugest thank you Dr. Casey Means and Huberman.
There has been so many that have helped me. As of right now I’m listening to the alcohol one daily to remind myself how much I’m poisoning my body for nothing in return. But this one is another one I will regularly revisit
This women is brillant and so brave to say outloud what noone else dares saying and she says it in such an eloquent manner that there is nothing more to add! This episode is a gem! Thank you both!
When she talked about Ozempic and simple weight-loss not fixing the mitochondrial problems that cause our health problems, it was like a revelation. Weight is not the source of health problems (which is the way medicine has been treating weight, hence the push for things like Ozempic and gastric bypass), but a symptom (one of many) of a bad diet and a lack of exercise. And a "bad diet" is what you eat, not how much you eat. But if you eat the right things, then how much you eat will take care of itself.
We are from the UK and currently travelling in the US and we noticed how few people walk on your streets, most restaurants and shops are created for drive thru or pulling up to the entrance by car. Back home we have a system of public transport which means you at least walk to the train/tube/bus stop, you walk when you have to change over up and down - and you are still faster at your destination than if you took a car, which also is charged a ULEZ (emissions tax) in city areas. My point is that your inactivity levels are baked into how your every day errands or work commutes are done. In the UK if you go out for lunch, you walk to the nearest food shop, in the US my colleagues drive - even to get a coffee which often contains sugar. On the other hand I notice that more parents drive their children to school instead of walking them like I do every morning, and I notice how many drive up to my local gym. We are getting more inactive here in the UK and obesity is going up...
The insights gained from Dr. Casey Means and Andrew Huberman have been invaluable, and having them both in this episode is truly remarkable. Their ability to simplify the discussion on metabolism is astounding, making me eager to share this link with everyone I know! Their collective wisdom offers a clear path towards health and living at our best. It's a podcast episode that's essential for anyone invested in personal well-being and the wellness of our society.
I spent the afternoon listening to you two and learned so much, and took notes and got up and moved every 30 minutes! You do an amazing job of bringing science to those of us who want valid up to date information on how to combat outside forces to be healthier. Thank you for all that you do.
Thank you, Dr. Means. You're a breath of fresh air. This is not the first podcast I've watched that you have been on. I get some new things and reinforcement of what I've already heard from them. I may be prejudiced because your approach supports my own sensibilities, but beyond that, you can back up what you're saying and I know you're onto something. Ahd yes, I've ordered your book.
Hi, I am a medical transcriptonist from SA, and I just wanted to say that the content of your podcast was awesome. I type what doctors prescribe to patients based on their symptoms and always questioned how the physiology worked. My mom is diabetic, hypertensive and suffers from stress. After watching your pc I am definitely going to do background with regard to "fixing" the mitochondria as it seems to be playing THE major role in self healing. Thank you so much
Thank you for giving us all this information. This is where social media can help us . She is so right about going outside. My little garden is my go too place . Amazing 🙏❤
This was one of the BEST podcast episodes !! I pre ordered her book as soon I heard about it - we need more people like her - more discussions. Excellent !!!
Hi Dr. Huberman-enjoyed the show, thanks. I am a 56 y.o. woman-completely revamped my nutrition/diet because of a higher cholesterol lab result as well as a fear of going down the same aging road as my parents (decreased mobility and alzheimers). What seemed to work best was cutting out all meat, most dairy and avoiding processed food (occasionally have seafood if at restaurant and no other choices.). I was finally able to lose that nagging 8ish pounds. I do not consider myself a vegan (in spite of my kids' picking on me!) and truly believe that individuals should choose for themselves what they eat. If I crave meat I will have it. I've cut back to almost zero alcohol (no real desire for it, but have to fight the cultural draw at times), have improved sleep habits, and I exercise and strength train regularly. I apologize for the long back story, but I think it's relevant to my question. I struggle with knee pain from osteoarthritis. I have been told I can be as active as I want. I would love to have guidance on nutritional ways to improve this.(I have turmeric in my diet now.) I hate that my knees swell with activity (tennis, golf, pickleball, etc.). What is the thinking these days? Would love to avoid replacement surgery-have you done a show about his yet? Best!
I’m also a tennis player with joint pain all over. Wake up call -Left MCL tore while playing tennis, took me 3 years to hit the court “safely”. - 14mo of tennis elbow w/o playing any sports but doing dumbbells. My diet then sounds like yours (even the turmeric). What took my inflammation away was implementing animal protein every day and limiting my veggies to mostly fermented ones. No longer running or hitting the court as I used to but mostly as a safety precaution. I suggest getting your hormones tested and any necessary tests by someone that believes in the mind/body/nutrition connection. Good luck!
I have been really enjoying Casey's conversations on podcasts. This was a particularly excellent conversation because, well, Andrew....🤷♀️. Thank you both for the work that you do and that you are sharing with all of us. We need to be a healthier nation to get to the next level of existence.
Thank you both!! Absolutely phenomenal episode! Dr. means, I appreciate your brilliance! And Dr. Huberman, thank you for the thoughtful questions. This was such an inspiring and empowering episode!
Thank you both immensely for this podcast which is proving to be pivotal in my life at a 33 year old man. It came in the absolute best time as I was already making some changes in my diet. Probably one of the most important things I've learned and that I've already started using during the past few days are walking after each time I eat, and moving my body throughout the day on top of my morning walk.
One of the BEST lectures i have heard !! I ordered thr book. This lecture pulled together information from numerous others in a meaningfil and qpplicable way. Thank yiu Dr. Means. Brilliant doctor

Thanks heaps for that. I will still listen but love the cliff notes
Hands-down, one of the best podcasts you’ve done. This woman is brilliant! her ability articulate is mind blowing. On a dime.
Agreed! She was passionate and informed. I almost felt like I was at church there at the end!
I agree. I walk while listening and had to stop to type notes on my phone. Soooo good.
I’m 10 minutes in and she is amazing
I need to meet this amazing doctor! ❤

Dr Casey is a real doctor with real desire to help people. Not very common in our world.
Pretty much all doctors are doing their absolute best to help you and are busting their ass to do so.
@@jonnya3425not the experience of many… doctors don’t push exercise and healthy eating at all. They treat symptoms, and are quick to just prescribe…
@@jonnya3425 No, the medical industry has become corrupt top down because profits for the industrial medical industry has become paramount over healing patients.
@@PaddythelaadYou don’t have to listen to Andrew if you don’t respect him, maybe do some research before espousing your uneducated woke views, Axis deer are a problem on Maui they are not native to Hawaii and were introduced They have become an invasive species, competing with native wildlife for resources and habitat they also cause significant damage to crops, they also get frequently killed by cars
because of there overpopulation,
Agreed!
Well said! Totally agree! I so need to meet her one day. Some people want to travel the world...I want to meet Dr. Means!
I hope more Drs open their eyes and change their way of thinking, and seeing what's happening. Thank you!
Another MD here... Former ultra specialist who also saw the light & left for Lifestyle Medicine, plant medicine & helping folks actually HEAL now.
Yayyyy to this episode!! 🎉🎉
What about Oxalates that all the haters discuss? Ty
💯 it was mind-blowing!
Right??
We😂ur😢rerwf
Right!! You see Al of these horrible things that people do to each other but if you just put the phone down. You realize how the cell phone is made to keep eyes on it, and fear is one of the major factor that’s keeps us glued.
She’s such an important voice in helping us get better as a nation. We need sound, unbiased health information to learn how to heal ourselves.
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
We all have time for the things we Choose to prioritize..
I say fooey to everyone who says they don't have time. We all waste more time on less important things every day
That's awesome! Great job and you're setting such a good example for your kids!
Same with taking care of aging parents. It takes your health because you can't leave them alone ever. Just passed 10 yrs.

I experienced the same, ending in 2018. I did find that the short bursts the commentator described helped my anxiety, mental health and a minimal level of fitness. Often it was a power walk around the block as often as possible. This time will come to an end. 😌 but you will get your life back.
Only few people can balance knowledge, eloquence, beauty and humility at the same time. Well done Casey, thank you Andrew
Beautiful comment!
How did you do it
So good to hear! That is the path I am on right now. I can keep my weight down and I eat super healthy but I still just want to gorge on food! 😂 I quit drinking and smoking weed and I have an addictive nature, so I really have to watch myself when it comes to eating. It's mainly a portion problem.
Dr. Casey Means is not just a voice of reason and wisdom, she is a Conscious Spiritual Badass! Fantastic segment!
@@limitisillusion7 there are a lot of us with that fantasy (crap on the boardroom table) - please live stream it
I'm in MI. I have to beg my doctor to order certain labs.. 😒

“If walking was a pill, it would be the most powerful pill we’ve ever had”. BOOM 💥. That’s powerful AND backed up by evidence. 👌
Took me a few days to finish listening to the full episode. BUT this is absolutely golden! I hope this gets millions and millions of views!
Think Dr. Means would be a fantastic partner for a 4-8 part series on metabolism (based on whatever makes the most sense, content wise)
Yes!! A guest series with Dr. Means would be brilliant
"Chronic inflammation is biochemical fear on the cellular level"
Golden quote right there.
Love listening to Dr. Casey Means. She’s so passionate about helping people make a positive change in their health.
Awesome man, i hope to finish it too
Got goosebumps during that last part.
Truly a woman of Knowledge on a mission to heal what is broken in this world.
Thank you!!
This woman stands on business. Everything she said just feels instinctively right. She is SMART! I really enjoyed this podcast. Thank you.
If there was a pill that did what exercise does, everyone would be taking it.
It’s typically not a cost issue. People are getting lazier and don’t have the discipline and willpower to do what it takes to achieve the results.
Another spectacular conversation. I learn so much from this podcast and this episode has left me feeling even more empowered. Thank you both.

Spectacular guest (+ my next 🎧📚)
So many incredible bits of knowledge to take onboard: thank you Casey!
This was fantastic. Thank you! She is a shining light in a dark medical world. I hope other doctors will hear her.
How many times did you pause the video to get up and walk around??!! Such a simple action to incorporate into your day! TY
Haha 2 walks outside with the dog in between taking this in ❤😍
I actually walked and listened! 😊

I will look for it on Audible!❤
The thing I enjoy about these talks are, both of them are learning things about the topic and we get to learn right along with them.
This might be the most important health podcast of all time given the relevance and reach it will hopefully recieve
Dr. Casey Means is a very eloquent and engaging speaker. Amazing and important talk. Thank you, doctors.
I agree with others saying this is one of the best episodes to date. Dr. Means has such a wonderful way of articulating information for laypeople who both want to understand but need simplification. Thank you!
My favorite episode so far. Thank you, Dr. Huberman and Dr. Means.
That “back to nature” stuff at the end was pure gold.

Dr Huberman this was one of the most relevant podcasts that I have heard in a longtime . Dr Casey pointed out some of the fundamental issues plaguing society and the medical system so simply and I loved how she broke down the actionable steps one can take to improve our health and consequently our emotions . Thank you Dr Huberman and Dr Means, this has been a fantastic episode. I love Dr. Mean's passion and her desire to add value to society.
I could listen to Dr. Means talk all day. Loved this conversation!
Me too . I love Dr Means. I finished her book. The best book
The best episode ever! Thank you Dr. Means for sharing all knowledge and passion! Thank you Andrew, for awesome guest!
Good luck!
Standing ovation for this guest and podcast … the most informative ever

Thank you both immensely for this podcast which is proving to be pivotal in my life at a 33 year old man. It came in the absolute best time as I was already making some changes in my diet. Probably one of the most important things I've learned and that I've already started using during the past few days are walking after each time I eat, and moving my body throughout the day on top of my morning walk.
