Watching these with Psudeolegendaries is always a funny “will they survive” kinda deal, so seeing you get to use basically all of them at once is pretty funny
I love that x and y had such a high level curve. Without grinding you can make it through the game and have a team way higher level than almost any other game
For those unaware, the whole weird buzzy thing on lysandre is to forcefully mega evolve his gyrados. You have to really read back some of the comments made to figure it out.
Also as someone who has been keeping track of your teams/wins and their levels at the end of the runs I SUPER appreciate you including the Hall of Fame animation at the end that lets me see all of that lmao
@@Yetsboy hes right tho. That person can watch this video at any time of the day but choose to skip his swim practice for it. It’s quite irrational unless he needs rest or dont like swimming (but forced to join), etc.
@@sksksk5206 you hit the nail right on the head. I was forced to join. I would like to also support those saying that loyalty to a sport is important if you want to make progress and become better. I came across your channel a couple days ago and I have to say i absolutely love your challenges! You got me wanting to do one myself!! I do love the jokes you come out with too! It really adds to the immersion
You could get Draco Meteor for Kingdra. Critical Hit does not count the drops of the Special Atack, so you could use as sweeper to Crit Everything with a superstrong attack.
I didn’t even think of Ampharos (Alak am is the other) He’s one of my two favorite Pokémon so was so excited when I saw you get him! Thanks for the great video as always
Pro-tip for any future challenges you do on X or Y in which you're allowed to use Goodra: Any time you enter, then exit a building, it resets the whole overworld's weather status. So if you go to any of the places in the game world where a town and a route that rains frequently are both right next to each other, you can just run around for a bit to FORCE it to rain.
That bit about the snow killed me, definitely too early for this bs, no snow yet where I am at but it was around 22 degrees this morning, I washed my hands and ran outside because I forgot to take out the trash. Wet hands and metal trashcans do not mix in the cold.
Hey Silph! Love your work! But if you want an impossible run, try FireRed/LeafGreen with only water types! I tried this because I thought it would be easy given the variety you can get. But this is made insane by making NO wild encounters until you get either the Good Rod or Super Rod, which you can't get until beating Erika! The only viable encounters are your starter, a Magikarp you buy outside My. Moon, and a Vaporeon after finding the Eevee in Celadon City. Getting four badges with just those three without over levelling is crazy!!
@@SACREDSCIZOR9116 well Gyarados is 4x weak to electric, so I avoided using him altogether. I used a high end lvl 24 Wartortle with Dig at the start of the match. The level up was needed to take down Raichu.

I was expecting to see a much harder time early on. Dragons resist a lot, but most of them take forever to evolve, so I thought having a team of lower stat early-evolution dragons would be rough. Seems I was wrong!
Jeez, I didn't realise how early I was until you said it was October and I checked when this was uploaded, I was just binge watching all your videos and this popped up today! Love the videos man, I appreciate the time and effort and the laugh I got from some moments :)
Refrigerate actually boosts the power of normal-type moves by 30% as well as making them ice-type, so Amaura's Take Down was actually 117 base power on top of being STAB and supereffective, giving a total effective power of 351.
This was the perfect Dragon Nuzzlock Challenge video the only thing that would make it even more Interesting is if your Garchomp was a female Garchomp like The Sinnoh Region Generation 4 Pokemon Games Champion Cynthia!
I've actually started implementing a new rule that uses the revives and max revives (only the ones you find naturally or are given in the game. No shop or pickup ability used here) In exchange for 1 max or 2 base revives I can bring a previously fainted friend back.
I'm going to nominate this as a 'deathless run'! The absolute final pokemon to beat in the form of 'mega' Gardevoir which survived probably around 15HP... now if he only had a 'mega' Salamence.
42/7. This was one of your most entertaining runs yet. Would've been real cool if it were deathless, but oh well, I still had fun watching. Great job like always, Silph. 👏👏👏
Honestly I love X and Y, the amount of Pokémon in this game give rom hacks a run for there money and you get access to really fun Pokémon like lucario, aerodactyl, bagon, snorlax really early on
Sucks that this could've been Silph's third Deathless HC Nuzlocke Challenge video (crazily enough the two Deathless HC Nuzlocke runs of Silph involves types that are strong to Dragon, being Fairy and Ice) I also realized that had Gardevoir didn't have Trace as its base Ability, then it wouldn't reset the Attack boost of Salamence and could've been an OHKO
Here is an Idea for a challenge run: Free pokeballs only. You would be free to use pokeballs given you you by NPCs or you find, but you can't buy pokeballs. Gift pokemon would be OK, as you are given the pokebal with the pokemon. You can't use the safari zone, game corner and the magikarp salesman (gen 1) as you "pay" for the pokeballs to get those pokemon
Love the vids, might be fun to play a hardcore nuzlock but only 4x weak Pokémon allowed, example ground/rock, bug/caterpie only Pokémon with a 4x weakness, would need to research into any games with a decent amount of these mons
I feel like Diantha only being referred to as an actress more than a Champion is kind of refreshing, referring to her with something she does more than what her Pokémon can do.
Gen 6 might not be the best, but it's the first generation where you really get a huge amount of variety, where no two playthroughs are the same. (The trend actually started with B2W2). Without hacks Gens 1 to 4 are straight up unfun, because of the limited encounter options. Such a varied Dragon Team, amazing.
the main reason for dragons average BST to be so high (the tye with the second highest BST average is only about 555) is because most legendaries specially the main duos/trios are dragons. this is has been a trend since gen3, every single game afterward had at least one dragon as part of the main legends trio, and gen4 and 5 had all 3 of them being dragons. also the fact they only made 2 of the pseudo legends not being dragons which i honestly find pretty lame, i wanted some more variety among those as much as i like some of them.
The only small detail i like that u didnt catch in ur vid was that aegislash wasnt a range, its his stance blade ability meaning on the first eq his defense was much lower then on the second eq. The details that keep playing pokemon fun imo :)
Idk why I want to say this here, but when you showed Wulfrics team, I was reminded of just how BAD his team was. Only 3 pokemon instead of 4, not entirely full movesets even though he's the final gym leader, and only one move for coverage. He could be swept by any Fire, Fighting, or Steel type, maybe even ground (or was it rock? Or both?) depending on the dual typing. Honestly, I wish they made Pokemon Z because like Platinum did for DP, they could've vastly improved the game and actually made it a bit of a challenge.
That aegislash kill in the elite 4 wasn’t a range. When it switched forms it switched its attack and defense so the defense was much lower so earthquake was overkill
