The NFL cares so much about its players health and safety,it seems thats why they are close to eliminating the Kickoff Returns. Also Nfl owners will save alot of money by not having to pay special teams players and coaches!
You left out one of the most important NFL regular season KO returns in the games history. Al Carmichael, 90, a 51 year holder of the NFL record for longest kickoff return , died Saturday in Palm Desert, Calif. A first round Draft pick, he was a halfback and kick returner(#42) best known for his then NFL-record, 106-yard kickoff return; RIP AL, 9/8/19.
7:20-7:33 I said this immediately when it occurred: that's how you end a playoff game in 11 seconds. Quickest way to send a message in a playoff game that your team will not be beat
thedude22: Patterson has the second highest kick return average of all time. That's over 4 years. And 5 kick return TD's, which is tied (with a lot of people) for 8th most of all time. What exactly is your definition of "one year wonder"?
I didn't see Dallas WR Alexander Wright's 102-yard return in 1991. I remember it because it's still a Cowboy record and also the only significant play that bust made his brief career.Roy Green was still a DB when he made that 106-yarder against Dallas in 1979, but he was moved to WR soon after and became a superstar.
@@claypleasant6327 No one was ever open when Roy Green covered them. Amazing that people don't talk about him more. Plus, of course, he was a bullet kick returner. Fastest man in the NFL, in his time. Probably cou)d be now, too. When he returned a punt against your favorite team, didn't you always go "Uh, oh...."?
nostalgia brought a tear to my eye seeing Mercury Morris for the Dolphins, God was he fast! He was gone at the 25 yd line, nobody in the area code at midfield
I returned a kickoff for a touchdown in high school. Can't top that feeling save game-clinching sack or concussing a star qb, I suggest from experience.
I have never scored a touchdown in my life. Longest run I made was 76 yards from the back field and I got walked down at the 15 yrd line. Me and the wife realized we forgot to get eggs (the reason we went to the store in the first place) so I ran all the way to the back of a packed H.E.B on a Saturday and was able to make it back befor the cashier was done checking us out. I juked so many people!! I tried to get the security footage so I could put it on UA-cam but the manager was trippin.
It was a wonderful time when Jacoby Jones was with the Ravens. I remember all those games.... "Gooooooooooooo!!!!! Yaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! He fkn goooooooooooooooone!" 😅
This video is awesome I have a suggestion for another video though you know like a video of disrespecting the teams logo like the member when Terrell Owens I think it was did something on the Dallas Cowboys logo in the middle of field or like somebody when they make a touchdown you know spin the ball and you know and the other guys end zone somehow or something or they do a weird dance where it's like burning the other side like you know something like that
Man I gotta say it, love this videos. No stupid music. No unnecessary logos. No fuss. Just pure football clips.
Highlight Heaven HEY I WATCH YO VIDS
Highlight Heaven hey man nice vid left a like
Highlight Heaven o lol oops wrong person but I watch ur vids to

Chris Herbert Ain't that the truth, I have subbing to do!
Jacoby Jones should have been the Super Bowl MVP.
Final Phlash Right.
I feel like Boldin was pretty damn worthy of it too
Phinal Flash nothing like a holding that wasn’t called
Stephen Jeske salty niners fan
@@TheSJeske holy fuck this guys salty. Was this comment before or after you got embarrassed in the super bowl again this year
Jacoby Jones was a man possesed that season.
Facts
Devin Hester had a 109 yard missed FG return also so that’s cool
People are saying he's the NFL's GOAT punt/kickoff returner, do you agree?
I cant imagine playing against those goal posts. Imagine hitting that thing at full speed. Good god broken shoulder!! I'm glad they moved them back.

Damn Vikings save some special teams for the rest of us
They've been real generous and giving super bowls to the rest of us
Just one Super Bowl is all I want. Please......go Vikings.
Justin Dickey 😂 I’m a vikings fan and it made me laugh

Roy Green. The first player to return a kickoff for a TD, catch a TD pass, and intercept a pass.
Commentator: I think they need to score here.
Goodman: Ok.
I don't why NFL want this eliminated this makes very part of football. NFL has lost itself trying to make money

Trust me, I love the NFL, but damn it really pisses me off that every old school NFL highlight is always in f*****g slow motion!!
Andres Castro I know right
The frame rate on old cameras was really bad. They have to mess with the speed of the reel so the movement doesn't look unnatural and stuttered.
They have to slow it down so we can see them moving.
Try adjusting the Playback speed. It speeds up the old plays and makes the modern plays frankly hilarious...
7:20-7:33 I said this immediately when it occurred: that's how you end a playoff game in 11 seconds. Quickest way to send a message in a playoff game that your team will not be beat
This is my favorite video so far. No ad interference.
"he has the kicker to beat....TOUCHDOWN!"
My momma can beat the kicker...
Kicker vs FB in Ravens play... TD
The announcers are always so surprised that they run it back.
I'm a Saints fan but I got to say that dude from the Green Bay Packers that ran the ball across the field he did a great job I respect that guy
Vikings are the masters at kick returns.
Other than that, they suck.
d texas cough 13-3 cough
No chiefs are
Look up dante hall
Damn forgot about devin Hester and the bears
Fun Fact: Timmy Brown of the Eagles, seen returning a kick off for a TD, played Spearchucker Jones in the movie M*A*S*H.
Dont forget 1:43 would never happen if #30 didnt help Cobb not fall
0:11
That sound in person makes you feel a certain way. It’s hard to describe.
Surprised that the Vikings have so many of these
Derrick Bruno Why? 😂
Because the Vikings are the perennial also-ran team

Just never thought of them as a playmakers on special teams

Man the 1950s and 1960s announcers were emotionless robots
So many uncalled holding penalties that weren't called on that Jacoby Jones touchdown.
this is the best football video
You forgot the Ravens 108 yard return against the Cowboys and 105 yards against the Raiders, both Jacoby Jones in the 2012 season.
It's basically all Vikings 😂
I love it when the announcer say: Touchdown... TITANS!!!
More broken ankles in these games than in any NBA game.
This channel deserves more subs
The 1st clip is from the super bowl which makes it even more special.

That's because the title of the video says 105+ yards.
I remember
Roy used to kill us. I was so scared of that dude when he converted to WR

Make kickoffs great again.
Where's Nathan Vasher? He's literally the first player to run back 108+ Yards for a touchdown.

Attention to detail is what I was taught.I cant believe the Saints on the return kick.Lol!
Things I learned about kicking the football off to the Vikings: don't.
Man those guys are fast !
It never fails...my Jets are always on the wrong side of these highlight films.
Stay well everyone
Who's here to watch kickers attempt tackling
Lmao, I saw the "wtf audio" 😂😂😂👌
I love it when their own teammates knock them down after they score
"bro wtf, why you knocking me down like that... Bitch"
Wow, surprised not to see D Jack in these clips
Some good runs here
I always laugh at the kickers who are like "yeah this is over" as they just keep running to the sideline benches.
How well I remember No. 22 Timmy Brown and his kickoff returns
.....all these and not one single one of Desmond Howard? He had a hell of a lot more than one
Logan and Cobb are the best ones.
Dayyyyyyuuummm! This guy named “no flags” is impressive! Sheeesh!
Cobb’s return is mostly known for him spinning around and still being able to keep going

Sadly Kickoff Returns are a dying art.
Why did 2:02 look so clean
In at least half of these, the returner is gone before he even reaches midfield
I almost said "looks like Jacoby Jones is the only one with 2 of these run-backs"... and then there goes Corderelle Patterson for his second.
Updated version includes Keishan Nixon

this is the reason i barely kneel on returns in madden
