Your intro made my day-so happy you are getting relief from some of the chronic pain 👏🏻👍🏻❤️👏🏻🤗🤗
You're too sweet. Thanks so much for your concern and thoughtful best wishes as I continue to recover.
So pleased you are feeling better. Great start to 2025. ❤
Thanks so much Gillian, me too!
I too loved Landman...my husband and I watched all episodes and hope for season two. Lots of great acting, a lot to think about and some comedic relief all in one show.
Yes, the mom and daughter were constantly making me laugh. It's a good think since so much heavy stuff was going on in season 1.
Just started the video, but wanted to say I’m SO glad your abdomen pain is gone!!
me too! Thanks so much.
Good morning, what a great start for 2025, no more stomach pain and your feeling lots better, bless you.❤❤❤ Landman was so good, hope they come out with Season two.
Thanks so much Bea. I appreciate it. I'm expecting that there will be a season 2 of Landman. It was so good.
Love the blush, actually clicked on your video because you had it under fails side on your thumbnail. Glad you actually like it.❤
@@Indoboyva I really like the blush. It's so good. I got a set with two lipsticks a blush and a brush. I love everything! Thanks for watching today.
Califa makes a frothing oat milk. I’m a latte in the afternoon girlie when I’m home. So happy to hear you are feeling better 💕
Ooh, that'll be on my shopping list next. Thanks for the recommendation. I've been using Chobani and I like it quite well. Thanks for watching today, and thanks for the well wishes.
I have the Rimmel and Maybelline clear lipliners. They work well, but it's weird getting used to not seeing anything. You just have to trust that its there!😊
Yes, there's a lot of trust involved with a clear lip liner. I'm also piling it on just to make sure I've got everything outlined. :)
I am so happy you are feeling better! Your eyeshadow looks very pretty. I do the same thing when I'm sick. I can't be bothered. Sad but true. I really like the Persona liners. I have all three of their Whats Up Beauty palettes. They are really nice. We have had snow on the ground for 24 days. I am so happy it started melting today. We got ourselves Netflix for Christmas. We never had it. We have been watching stand-up comedy. We need some laughing for this absolutely long and troubling January. I really like the Viseart Violet Etendu palette. It is just so pretty and easy to work with. I really like the ND Golden Trio highlighter palette I got in my Beautylish. We have been on a soup kick this month. I love a soup or stew when it is cold. My husband got a promotion at work. It is kind of a great deal. He is a Senior Master Certified Mechanic. He has been turning wrenches our whole marriage. It is hard on the body. He is moving to an office job in the same company he has been with for 20 years. I am grateful for him and the new job. I hope you have a wonderful week ❌️ ⭕️
Lisa, thanks so much. I'm glad to hear that your husband got a promotion at work. What a wonderful change! I hope he get's used to being at the desk.
I'm always on a soup kick in the winter months. I make at least 2 pots a week. What's your favorite to make? I'm so glad that you're enjoying the Viseart and the ND that came in your lucky bag. I'm liking the ones that showed up in my lucky bag this year too. Thanks so much for watching and I hope you have a wonderful rest of the week.
@thelipstickgal My favorite is chicken and noodles. We love beef stew, tortilla soup, vegetable soup and chicken and rice. I also do a huge batch of chili and freeze individual portions. I do about 20lbs a year. Makes it an easy grab and go. What is your favorite?
I loved hearing your health update! So thankful the surgery has addressed your abdominal pain and that your recovery seems to have gone relatively quickly. Answered prayers!
Agree with you on Landman! Binged the episodes available around Christmas with family and we really enjoyed it. His high maintenance wife and daughter are a riot. Sadly I haven’t subscribed to Paramount yet (we were at my brother’s at Christmas) so I have some episodes to catch up on. As for my favorites of January, have to say treating myself to the Beautylish Lucky bag is a big one and the next is the order I’ll be placing for some new Roman Szmal watercolors (which will surely be my February fav).
@@barbarabanks3216 thanks so much for the prayers and the well wishes. ❤️
Landsman is such a great show, and I love the chaotic duo of mom and daughter. 😂 I love that you're getting art supplies. How long have you been water coloring?
@thelipstickgal I have been creative since I was a kid, always trying some new hobby. I tried watercolor a few times over the years but it's only recently become a hobby. The turning point was trying artist quality watercolor paints in 2020. They make painting so much more enjoyable! Doing something creative is one way I try to manage my stress and watercolor is one of my current favorite creative outlets.
I'm on the East Coast and like that your new videos are available first thing in the morning for me! 😊
That's why I post them at midnight pacific. Thanks so much for making the time to watch, I appreciate it.
I love land man 🤣 and the Pitt and new Dexter
Landman is great as is the Pitt. I haven't seen the new Dexter, but I love the original.
I’m so happy to have new series recommendations!
So glad you are feeling better
Thanks so much Maria, I am too. : )
So glad you are feeling so much better Rebecca. You look great! 😊
Thanks so much, I'm delighted to be feeling so much better.
Cheers to being pain-free! It's so nice to see you feeling better. 🤗 I've been using the LE pinpoint concealer every. single. day since it arrived. I use it to bring forward my eye troughs, which are super narrow but deep enough to cause me to look really tired. The pinpoint is the perfect size to hit the shadowed area, and it makes me look instantly awake, and it lasts all day. Seriously, 10+ hours, and it's still going strong. It is now a hero product for me. Not just a January fave, but already my favorite makeup product of 2025, and possibly my favorite ever. Bold words, but I stand by them! 😊 That sweater looks beautiful, btw. 🤩
I use the LE pinpoint the same way-really easy & very effective. Happy I purchased.😊
Thanks so much for the well wishes on my recovery. I'm delighted to be pain free in my abdomen. It's such a gift. I have so many project that I'm planning as soon as I can start lifting more than 10 lbs. I have 3 weeks left until I can start pushing a grocery cart, a vacuum cleaner, carrying grocery bags, and other heavy things. That's when I'll start on my projects. Until then, I'm keeping it slow here and resting as much as possible.
The LE pinpoint concealer is a game changer. I LOVE it so much. I've already ordered it in the second shade. This shade is perfect for my tear trough, but I'd like something just a tad darker for my hyper pigmentation spot. I'm so impressed with the way it works and lasts all day. LOVE! Thanks so much for watching today, and have a great week.
I bought the KJH highlight in the gold and pink shades -- so pretty! Thanks for the video; faves and fails are one of my favorites. And, I am so thrilled to know that your surgery has brought a resolution to that chronic pain and that you are on your way to feeling good again. That's a great start to 2025!
Thanks so much Allison. It's a great start to 2025. I'm excited to see what this new year will bring for my health. I'm still sleeping a lot, but I'm starting to plan out projects around the house. There's a lot of deep cleaning and organizing that needs to happen here since I'm the only one who does it. My kids and husband will keep the surface clean. (vacuum, do dishes, occasionally dust) but my kitchen is getting really cluttered, and the cupboards are so disorganized. I also have to completely reorganize and clean out my closet.
I'm glad you're liking the KJH Brand highlights. I have the same 2 shades and I love them so much. They're such a beautiful formula.
Those are big jobs, but it will feel great to have them done. And of course you will take your time! 💙💙💙
I’m glad to see some color back in your face and that spark in your eyes! I love your blouse today! Just an FYI Carpe for the face works wonders for the hot flash sweat (or any seat) despecially on the forehead and it wears well under makeup. Did you buy the Glossier Cherry 🍒 blush? The Dermalect Smooth Upper lip product has helped me a lot with the pesky vertical lip lines. It’s not a miraculous result but it is really significant. All of the Ravie blushes are beautiful-the darkest pink is really pretty but takes the lightest touch. The picture of Daydream (the lightest Ravie blush) is really off and it’s much more nude. I’m so glad to have a new series to watch! Lioness was really great to binge and we loved the 2nd season of the Diplomat although I’m frustrated that the season only has six episodes!
@@tzoe875Thanks so much, I'm glad to be feeling better. I loved Lioness and The Diplomat. I was sad that they only made 6 episodes per season.
The blouse is from Talbot's, and I love how cute it is. 🐶🦴
Thanks for the recommendation on Carpet, I'll check it out. I didn't end up getting the cherry blush, but the balm.
Thanks so much for watching today.
We’re binging The Night Agent on Netflix.
I just started season 2 of The Night Agent. It's good so far. Thanks for watching today.
Wow! Your eye look is gorgeous. I need to check out What’s Up Beauty. Great news about your positive surgery outcome! The absence of pain (or even the lessening of pain) is such a gift. In January, I rediscovered my love of Rituel De Fille Thorn Oil, especially as a foolproof way to freshen my makeup mid-day; a couple drops gently patted on brings everything back to life like magic. I’ve also been devouring spy shows; my favorites are Slow Horses, The Agency, and The Day of the Jackal. Thanks for another great video!
Thanks so much Deb. I'm so grateful to be dealing with less pain. I still have a chronic headache, but . . . I'm feeling so good these days.
I've really been enjoying the What's Up Makeup. I like the eyeshadows, the highlights as well as the bronzers and blush. I like the lipstick formula, but would love more shades. They make some beautiful products. My favorite item from what's up beauty are the brushes. They're so good, and super soft. If you like white goat hair brushes that are handmade in Japan, you'd love these.
My husband keeps trying to get me to watch Slow Horses. I need to give it a try. I just started Silo, and when I'm done with that I'll switch over to Slow Horses. Thanks for the recommendation.
So great to hear the surgery has already made such a difference for you! And the eyeshadow is really pretty. I’ve had a rough time but I did really enjoy Black Doves on Netflix this month.
Sorry you've had a rough month. I started Black Doves, but haven't finished it yet. I love Kiera Knightly. Thanks for the well wishes, I'm so glad to be feeling better.
I loved Black Doves so much too!
Wonderful to hear you’re feeling better!
Thanks so much Brenda. : )
So happy for you and your recovery! We are coming out of a cold spell andy kids and I are sad because the snow is melting. But I'm grateful they're back in school. 😁
@@Eden_Rivers thanks so much. I'm glad to be feeling like better. We haven't had any snow here this season. It feels like we haven't had winter at all. 🤷♀️😭
So happy you are feeling better! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤😂
@@marybonome9279 thanks so much Mary. ❤️
So happy you feel better-you look fabulous!😊 oh and I agree-luv the L’Oréal Lumi Le Glass. Would love the Chanel baume but honestly this one is a great sub .
Thanks so much Nancy, I'm glad to be feeling better too. I really like the Lumi Le Glass, and I think it's a great sub for the Chanel Baumes. The price is so high on those, and I think this is a great sub.
Yay I'm so happy to hear you're feeling better and that the surgery worked!
@@laurenw3858 thanks so much Lauren. ❤️
So glad you’re feeling better:)
Thanks so much, I really appreciate it.
Hey, I have no time to see the whole video now but the most important part that you feel so much better is everything! so happy for you❤ I will have a look later at the make up products😊
Thanks so much for your encouragement over the past year and a half. It's been a difficult season, but I'm glad it's over. Thanks for all your kind words, and thoughts. I really appreciate it Sonia. : )
@@thelipstickgal 🧡
Wonderful news. So glad you’re feeling better. I start my morning with you, watching your videos while I’m making a fresh pot of coffee. I appreciate you. 💚
I appreciate you too. Thanks so much for your encouragement as I go through the healing process. I'm feeling better and better every day. Enjoy that fresh pot of coffee as you start your day. : )
Such a great list 😀Jan favs in beauty for me were : finally trying the Armani luminous silk foundation, the haus labs mascara, the bone/cream shade in the newest ND five pan palette ( random I know but I was oddly missing that specific type of shade in my collection ), the Elemis enzyme cleanser in life style it has definitely been getting a new personal size blender so I can get back into making my favorite daily smoothie
I picked up a personal sized blender so my kids could make smoothies for breakfast. I'm trying to get them to eat something before heading off to school. Smoothies seem like an easy option.
I'm going to try the Armani Luminous Silk. I just need to find my perfect shade. It's been on my list for such a long time. I might need to try the Elemis Enzyme Cleanser too. I need something to help me exfoliate off my winter layer. My skin is pretty dry and patchy these days.
@@thelipstickgal yea I have noticed that while I like the formula of the luminous silk foundation I do like to mix two shades so I will likely try something new when I’m done with these or go back to the haus labs for now
Btw I like Landman too! Billy B is perfect for this role. Can I recc Outlander (Netflix, Starz)? It’s sooo gd.
I LOVE Outlander. I've been watching since season 1. Love the books too. I'm curious about how they're going to finish the series in Season 8. thanks so much for watching today Nancy.
@@thelipstickgalOmg, finally someone else who loves Outlander as much as I do! The chemistry of those 2! The first 2-3 seasons were fabulous. It’s so well done and love the fact that a lot is based on historical events. I mean they met George Washington! I have 1 episode left of S7. I’ll be sad when this series ends.
PS- Sam Heughan & Caitrona Balfe should have received more attention and an Emmy. I don’t get it.
Great look:)
Thanks for watching today.
So pleased to hear yr feeling better. I love watching yr videos. They cheer me up. I've just read Miranda Hart book which was great. I ordered a couple of jones road products too.
@@magsB2210 thanks so much. I'm glad to be feeling better too. I'm going to Google Miranda Hart. That's not a name I'm familiar with. I'm looking for a new book. I hope you enjoy the JR products you ordered.
@thelipstickgal she's an English comedian who suffered illness. It's a fascinating book on how the mind can help the body recover
So happy your surgery helped!!!! How do u get them to stop traveling out lol all my glosses I love feather out even over lip liners the tarte & rom&nd hourglass click ups … 😕🤣 I got a Mac prime and prep lipstick thing to try I saw someone use it maybe it helps it’s clear supposed to fill in lip lines
Thanks so much Marion, I'm glad my surgery helped too. I'm using the clear liner just outside my vermillion border as a barrier. It helps to keep the lip gloss/balm/lipstick from feathering. I've had good luck with it. Try an affordable clear gel liner. The formula should help to hold in glossier things.
What pore-filling primer do you recommend?
So happy that you’ve recovered well! Praying for your optimal health always!
@@MiriamRoquiz thanks so much for your prayers. ❤️ I'm not sure I'm loving anything other than the Tarte smoothing primer. I'm using the new Milani one right now, but . . . 🤷♀️
Question…Have you thought about trying Jones Road new gel liner? Bobbie Brown gel liner was my first liner I used for tight liner many years ago.
Yes, it was in my recent purchase or pass. I'm still thinking about if I need to pick one up. Thanks for watching today.
Please help with a recommendation if you can. I used to LOVE the former Estee Lauder Cream formula. But since they reformulated, it just hasn't been the same. It used to be thick and balmy and now it is thin and doesn't feel special anymore. What other lipstick brands have that same feel? They were so easy to wear, real purse lipsticks and I lived in them.
@@biancahelberg2890 I love the Dior satin formula. It has a slightly heavier feel and wears like a champ all day. I'd you try one out and decide it's not what you're looking for, please return it. Most department stores as well as Sephora and Ulta accept returns of used makeup. A $49 lipstick should be used or returned. Dior was the first one that came to mind. I also really like the new MAC satin formula and the lip balms from Queen Musia. A hint of color with a lovely balm texture. I'd also recommend the Ravie Beauty Effortless Lips. I love the formula and they're super comfy.
That Lisa Eldridge pencil is more expensive per oz. than gold, which is ridiculous. I'm a LE fan, but I think she was too greedy with this. I do like the Milani stick foundation. I have shade 2 and I'm really pale. I got shade 2 because I also have the Fenty stick in 2, and this is kind of a dupe. The Fenty is the tiniest bit more yellow, though, so the Milani is actually better for me.
@@Christine-uf3oj I might need to get shade 2 in the Milani. The one I have is too light, but I really like the formula. I never tried the Fenty stick, but if it's anything like the Milani I'm glad I have the less expensive version.
I use the LE pencil sparingly, so I'm not too upset about the price, and for the difference it makes, I find it worth my money. We're all different. Thanks for making the time to watch today.
