Your videos are so professional and crisp it's amazing! You cover all pros and cons of the car while having a personality and not some monotone voice. Keep going strong!
Another great video. You have the best reviews out there Steve. That car has aged really well. Can't wait to see it when they redo it to match the new interior styling and out that Volvo is doing.
I think a lot of commenters here were hoping that the infotainment screen from the XC90 would trickle down to the S60 and XC60. But like you said, we'll have to wait until Volvo redesign the S60.
The turbocharged 5-cylinder petrol engine is a genuine designed Volvo powerplant that Ford has broadly used not only in European markets but also in the USA. It was originally introduced in the range in 1994, with the glorious 850 T-5 and this is its last evolution. Therefore, like the new Drive-E 4 -cylinder, it is a Volvo's own powerplant.
This ride has aged well - both inside-out. Can't wait for the new design to come. The new XC90, S90 and V90 are simply elegant. Hope you'll be able to review the S90 or V90 Steve, particularly the upcoming R-Design and Cross Country one. Love the ad-like shot of each car at the end of your (recent) reviews Steve. Hope you'll add some more little touches to your videos.☺
Love the review, and share your love of today's Volvos. I'd put the FWD version on our list, but for the fact that this "safety-first" company has followed the pack and omittted the spare tire! Sure, you can buy it as an option if you don't mind losing half your trunk. TOO BAD.
Not the Ford Eco-boost ================= Volvo engineers started working on this new modular engine architecture as far back as 2007 under Ford ownership, but it wasn’t until 2010 when China’s Geely Automobile bought the brand and devoted capital and resources to a full-blown development program. The Volvo Engine Architecture plan calls for four gasoline and four diesel engines that share many common components and can be manufactured on a single assembly line in Skövde, Sweden. No word yet on a diesel coming to the U.S.
On the inside maybe. Looking at it now, many years later, the Volvo has aged much, much better, whereas the Audi is just... another Audi and could easily be mixed up with another one from 20 years ago.
Why can’t the s60 just get the same interior design as the s90 with that giant touchscreen and include Apple car play and android auto? That would be an extreme makeover. Cause that center console is making me feel old with its dated buttons.
You know what sucks? The interior is hideous, but we know that volvo knows how to make a good-looking interior (just look at the s90), so why does the s60 interior have to look 15 years old?
This is s60 has been around since 2009. I own a 2016 model, the interior grows on you, its quite unique design and easy to use. I really dislike new volvo interior.. They just put an ipad as a center console which get sloppy with hideous greasy fingerprints
Don't let anyone fool you. Volvo is a poor value, and a poor car. I have one. It completly sucks. Transmission problems, many little things break. Poor quality steering components. Many of the electronics fail. Get a US or Japanese car.... you will be happier! I read they were unreliable, didn't heed the warnings and regretted it. Honda or Ford.... anything is better than this car.... never Volvo again!
seems like nice car but the inside looks dated!! looks like old man car !! the gps is small and goofy looking! even the Dodge Dart had a better screen GPS!! Next!
2 Weeks ago bought me a 2017 S60 AWD Dynamic R Design for 20,795 out the door 36k mileage. love it!
How is the car going now
That's an amazing deal. How does the car drive?

Awsome review Steve. This is a beautiful car and I love that Red on this Volvo, its sharp!

Interior is dated though, cannot wait for Volvo to refresh the S60, XC60 to their new interior theme
gary zhao I agree, though I do think this design has aged well for Volvo.
gary zhao I know I know
fuck i don't care volvo design always had soul in them which the german car lacked
such a sexy car
Great video. My biggest regret was selling my 2012 t5. Loved it so much.
Love those comfortable Volvo seats!❤️
Gorgeous color 😍😍

Hey Steve. Great review.
Love the red color.

I wanna buy this car when I have a family.
I have a 17 t5 dynamic and I’ve times 0-60 in 5.1 seconds stock soooooo
I was gonna say my ‘06 T5 is faster than 6 second 0-60s.. Without the heavy AWD though.
I want one 🙏🏽💯❤️
just to get the facts straight, Ford had nothing to do with Volvo's straight 5 engine.
Was gonna say, the straight 5 was just a staple of their modular engine system...
The 5 cylinder was a VW-Audi engine. Please research.
Nice job big guy
A4 sedan 2017 kills this car! Especially the interior which is so futuristic and looks like a private jet cockpit at night
coach is here yeah.. considering that this car interior was designed back in 2009. it still puts some fight

Beautiful exterior, decent interior but that center console... BLAH! 😫

The new S60 is very close to making its debut.
Clearly takes styling cues from the BMW 2 series. Imitation is the best form of flattery.
It's looked the exact same since 2010 tho
There is no reverse cam in this car
Alvin Mah Who needs that? Why don't you use your side and rear view mirrors? It's not hard!
Cheeki Breeki cause some people don’t want to keep twisting their neck back and fourth just to see what’s behind you while reversing.

Well you pay like 10k euros less compare to an Audi or Mercedes same category cars and you get more horsepower so it's quality will be garbage
want to no about the gear shift

it was Ford era for Volvo--now you can easily come back to the new Volvo!
You’ve been listening to CR have you?

Beautiful exterior, decent interior but that center console... BLAH! 😫
you probably never owned a volvo
Nope and never will.
so you have no clue how functional that central console is, and how much better it works compared to the new iPad style console.
TheArrogantOne No and I don't want to know. Volvo isn't for me and thats my opinion. Deal with it.
